Congrats to Crystal Palace. It was a modest victory, but, despite what the stats could suggest, it was not a very close game. Palace were clearly a better team and were able to create better chances, so it's a fully deserved victory.

This was the first time Palace won a European Cup of any sort. They have a few domestic cups in their record, but, until today, they have never managed to lift any European trophy in their 120-year history.

Apart from the cup and related prize money, Palace will also get a spot in the group stage of the Europa League next season, so it was a really fruitful day for them.

Crystal Palace won their 3rd major trophy in their career and it is  UEFA CONFERENCE League. They beat Rayo  Vallecano in the final by 1-0. In the first half Rayo Vallecano dominated by 54% possession but only 1 big chance was created, and 2 total shots. On the other side the Palace with 46% possession also created 1 big chance , 4 total shots and 0.68xG.  In the second half Rayo Vallecano again dominated but this time with 62% possession only 0.33 xG and no big chance was created. Palace with 38% possession scored the only goal in the 51st minute by Mateta . Wharton is named as player of the match for his incredible possession and helping Palace to keep their momentum.

Crystal Palace will win the match today I am very confident of that because they are the team that are showing good level of performance and we all know that premier League teams are actually doing more better than other league, I don't expect them to lose the match to Rayo, and I'm very sure that a lot of people are going with me on this same prediction I have already bet on Crystal Palace to win and I used a good amount of money they should better not disappoint me because I believe so much in them today the match will soon start so I will just hold and see how it ends.

Rayo Vallecano team should try to Build pressure in this match but  they could not get strong position in this match and players gave their full effort to win this match but they could not win this match. Rayo Vallecano team is not small team because they have experienced players and they can play for the team. The shots of that team were more in this match and these were 9 in this match and 1 shot was on target and possession percentage of that team was 59 percent in this match which was great effort as we expected by members of that team. I was able to predict Crystal Palace win like probably most people. But I failed on the over 2.5 goals part. The match wasn't as good as I expected. I wasn't impressed with any side very much.

Crystal Palace deserved more of course with a better performance. Glasner is leaving if things haven't changed. He is leaving with another trophy for his team. I don't even know why they are parting ways with him while he is able to bring trophies to this team.

I'm curious... What was your reason to go for over 2.5 goals for this? Asking because most Finals like this don't usually have lots of goals. It's just a few exceptions like PSG's final vs Inter Milan last year and Aston Villa Europa league final few weeks ago. Since cup finals are closely contested, I try to avoid betting on goals that much and just go with the option of which team will likely win the finals.

When you find this on the stats though, it always lives you with the impression of, either you watched a different game or this is just wrong. It wasn’t a very heavily contested game from Rayo and Crystal Palace played a much better football which was deserving of the title they got. Too bad there wasn’t a lot of goals in it for me. It’s the final, don’t know what’s there for me fo expect more though.

They played a lot better in the conference league than they did in the premier league. You can see what the trophy means to them, not just on the part of history but to actually win a trophy at this point when the team was struggling to get points in the premier league.
