Yes, that seems to be a normal reaction from someone who had relied mostly to altcoins and when you're too diversified because that's not giving you the good time to think about what you should invest with your money. This is why someone has to put some BTC first into his portfolio.

The condition of the market depends if a an altcoin can survive or not, it all lines to structure form for the roadmap of altcoins. Altcoins dead? It's not our fault to witnessed a failed altcoin project, but the people that should be blamed for failed project are the team behind the existence of the particular altcoins, because they're suppose to be prepared in the first place, mapping out for the project challenges and also prepared for the negativity and positivity. Just like you said, last year, there were a lot of dips in the market and some altcoin dumps, and we couldn't survive them. According to the OP, even the altcoins he gave as examples are still in the market despite the fact that the price is not very bullish, apart from ETH, which is still doing well. but I think not all altcoins are like that because in my opinion there are still altcoins that are worthy of long-term investment such as ETH and BNB. ETH is the current king of altcoins and has a very large community, while BNB is supported by the largest exchange currently namely BNB, I think there is no doubt about long-term investment in these two altcoins. There are also new altcoins that have good prospects such as Arbitrum and Aptos, both of which have very large funding raised and I think are also worth investing in.

I don't think these coin should be classified as dead because the Crypto currency market is unpredictable. And you can not tell what will happen next. Just like ETH has claimed $2365 eho would have think of that after a big dip in price some months ago. What some coin need is time. With time you would see there performance.

The issue we have here is that all coins/tokens apart from Bitcoin are generalised as altcoins, people now add bad with good. But bad ones are not the same as the good ones as the names and characteristics that some preserve and possess respectively are unique. I do not see the trait that Bitcoin has that Ethereum doesn't have when it comes to the preservation of its quality and quantity. A few others also exist as well that during the huge fall of the last bearish season that made Bitcoin hit almost $15,000 from $69,000, they didn't fall that much. A good example of such is Tron (TRX) and many more like that which will even prove themselves better in the coming years.

This is what I will stand upon to debunk that altcoins are dead, they aren't dead and they will never be dead. Altcoins are only to be careful of, we do not just choose them anyhow, and the ones we choose, it must be well-studied so that as they give us that huge money during the bull run year(s), we take the opportunity and do not let ourselves be caught in the web of the bearish season that could see most of our asset depreciated before our eyes.

Maybe there will be more dead tokens in the future because the rate at which many of the cryptocurrency project are launching, it means that investors would have no option later than to keep moving money from one crypto project tomthe other. This is what we would be experiencing and any project that eventually loses it community due to negative outcome, they would have to keep doing airdrop in order to bring back the users to their platform.

If you want to see dead ALtcoins look at your Metamask, if you have worthless coins that you bought and kept and now there is no news of development they will disappear by themselves. For coins like eth, ada, tron and others, in my opinion, as long as there is volume on the exchange it will be fine unless there is an announcement from the exchange where you trade that one of them will be delisted and cannot be traded anymore.
