Actually no because again it is gambling and if you don't have a skill and knowledge how gambling works it is a huge problem too because there's a possible that the player who play your money makes a lot of reason that your funds is lose, also we know that gambling is all about luck and skills if you got a wrong timing there's a chance you might lose your savings, instead use the money for better investment than trying to play to a full risk game.

Both no.

A gambler will always be a gambler no matter what they will do. A gambler can only be trusted when they got rehab and if maybe they stopped gambling for years already but aside from that, it's hard to trust your money into other people especially if they have a background in gambling. TBH, it's hard to answer this one because it's very subjective. You might encounter different scenarios like:

-you trusted your money to your friend who is a gambler and used your money to gamble but since you have been friends for a long time, you just forget about it and give him a second chance.
-you trusted your money to your friend who is a gambler and used your money to gamble. Even though you and the gambler are friends, you will not forgive him and you will not trust him anymore.

Overall, it will be the owner of the money who will decide if they will trust a gambler or not but for me, I will not trust my money to a gambler just to be safe.

It is not safe to trust a gambler with funds. There have been situations where companies have gone bankrupt simply because the owner indulges in an unhealthy lifestyle of gambling. The idea to gamble will start as means to get more funds to grow the business and possibly have enough to pay back the owner of the money that was kept in his custody.

Exactly, don't hire a gambler that works in your company as it will only make your company bankrupt, a successful gambler does not work, they are investing on their skills because they make a living in gambling. So those who have a gambling problem that are working in a company will only bring problem to the company, that's for sure.

Can't agree anymore, why should the gambler work in strict company that require you to work from 8AM to 5PM and you will boring for doing it everyday. Unlike if you're professional gambler, you can choose yourself when you want to work and how long it will, also you can play different game that will enjoy you.

Exactly what happened with the ops story, the gambler who gambled his friends investment away gave a funny reason of having a health challenge, i will attributes gambling to high risk  activities and should be done only for fun. not a means to making quick money since gambling is associated with alot of negative outcome such as addiction, so is better to gamble with just spare money and with moderation.

I think such a person should not be trusted with a financial position, and it's not that he is gambling, it's that he cheats his colleagues. How can you build a business with a person you don't trust? I think this is impossible, so I would not give a second chance to this guy because the likelihood that he will fail at some point because he is afraid to tell the truth is very high.

If he is a compulsive gambler, then you can’t entrust him your funds or your savings because a gambler will always be a gambler in the first place. Once he lose his entire money, he won’t stop there but continue to chase his losses, and so your own money may be compromised too. He won’t stop gambling unless he has no means to gamble anymore. So to avoid future problems, one should avoid trusting a gambler once money is at stake. As long as he continues to gamble, your money won’t be safe.

There are very responsible gamblers that you can trust with any amount of money. These individuals are self-controlled and gamble mostly for entertainment. But It would be very risky to give your savings to a gambling addict. When a gambler borrows to gamble, then he is close to addiction. Another sign of gambling addiction is using money meant for basic needs or personal savings to gamble. Just like other forms of addictions such as drugs, gambling addiction leads to financial mismanagement, hence they cannot be trusted with money.

There are requirements for job application like this,that's why it's hard for most people to find satisfactory job that suitable for their preference.
Now,gambler and financial position doesn't match together and never will,so clearly they are not eligible.As for second chance,it's up to the person who are hiring,but personally,they are better at other position rather than something that related to finance.

This is why you shouldn't cooperate with your friends if you want to make a business, since if it's failed due to trust issues, your friendship would be ruined too.

The best way is you're attending many seminars about startup and business, than you can recruit some few guy that you trust and you need to make a deal about your profit and loss sharing. If you not trust anyone, then run it yourself. No need to worry to recruit a employee, there are a lot people out there who doesn't have any job yet and you can pick the best employee based on their experience and foremost not a gambler.

The player should never be trusted with financial management.  One day I met a financial director (female). 

She gave the impression of an adequate person and a highly qualified specialist. 

But suddenly she winked at me and said that she was very worried about the growth of her company's wealth.  Standard tools for working with finances do not allow you to get a sufficiently large profit. 

Therefore, she invests part of the money in network marketing.  She was convinced that financial management required creativity.  But in fact, creative and gambling people should not be allowed to manage finances. 

Maybe after losing the company's money in network marketing, she will play roulette to win back... I don't know... I feel sorry for the owner and CEO of her company.

I used to finance a couple of poker players to play in the tourneys that they couldnt afford otherwise and have given money to a friend for gambling. I'd consider both as gambling but I do get something in return if they win. So, basically I'm gambling on gamblers.

I think this is totally a gamble on your side that you let them gamble with your money but the thing is, you're aware of the possible outcome whether it will be positive or negative. For me, I won't be trusting a person with my money if the same as the example of OP.

Like I mentioned earlier, reputation and statistics on how a person has done in the past while gambling is key. If the person lacks discipline and is a problem gambler. I'm definitely not trusting them with my hard earned money. If he was my business partner, I'd definitely not want them to lie to me about the financial decisions they are making using company funds(in case of OP). Transparency is key when it comes to money and investments.  

Gambling is an addiction just like the other common ones like alcoholism. It can be cured if taken proper care of. I don't mind trusting an ex gambling addict with my money, provided they are transparent on the decisions they are making with my money.

First of all we don't have to mark that every gambler is an irresponsible person who don't have self control over money management so they recklessly spend all their money for betting, because if this is real then how a casino can be a profitable business because mostly a casino can be run by an individual who loved to gamble right.

Irresponsible person is irresponsible no matter what their habits are and it maybe changed and can turn on the ither side, for example Robert Downey Jr charged for drug and sentenced to prison bit now he realised what are the mistakes and most wanted and paid actor so that is it, the character of every individual decides it.

Trusting a gambler with my money? I won't try that,it is a big risk because all your money is going to be waisted on gamble and he will come back giving you excuses.The moment one is addicted to gambling,there is every tendency that he wont have no money again,because every single dime he has will be for gambling.This is really a very bad situation and at that stage of addiction,there is nothing you can do to help yourself.
So giving a gambler money is a big risk that one ought not to try.

Maybe not now, it could be very hard for him and for the person. It could be hard for him since it will give him frustrations and pressure, if he really wants to help his friend but he is being attracted to gambling.
