I think the article mostly covers about blockchain gambling and aside from the transaction time and transaction fee both of them have the same experience in my own perspective. Both bitcoin and ethereum now is widely available in the market and the transaction fees of both is not far away from each other depending on the casino. Actually most casinos have a fix transaction fees for both and I personally wouldn't mind the small difference. What would matter to me the most is the houseedge of the casino and the games that the casino have.

Its evident and obvious considering or trying out to compare between in numbers with BTC casinos and ETH ones then you could really definitely say that people would really be preferring on using it
but there are still people who do really play with those ETH sites and i dont know on whats the reason considering that Gas fees is ridiculously high.

Also, we do see that most of popular platforms now do accept multiple coins in terms of payment which you could opt in whether you do deposit Btc or ETH or other coins
which you dont really need to go in sole coin type of casino which do only accept a particular coin.Most of them does have multiple options for you to take.

To high fees if you want to play blockchain probably fair ethereum based casinos . But this is the problem to bitcoin too.

If you will use centralized casinos, there will be no big difference, because it doesn't matter in what currency you deposit casino will fund your account balance. And you will be able to convert it to any currency.

Bitcoin casino is more popular than Eth Casino. The difference between them is that Bitcoin has made the lucky of some activity thanks to his industry. Ethereum

could also replicate that, but not in the same way. I guess that the only thing that could beat Bitcoin would be a Casino where you can play only with USDT ERC20

but at the same time you should also consider that every btc casino now accept it. So, Bitcoin casino is better.

I have not yet played on Ethereum casinos because they are not popular yet and the community is more on supporting Bitcoin-based casinos because obviously, you cannot have an Ethereum-based casino because this section only accepts casinos that accept Bitcoin or one of its options, many of the points of that article are true but it still comes down to reputation and your preference and its very clear what the community's choice is.

i believe, people are used to bitcoin-based casinos rather than eth-based casinos. consider the fact also that gas fees are not in favour with them. though if you withdraw btc from CEX, the fees are also expensive. anyway, it all depends on your preferences here. sometimes, you just want to connect your eth wallet to a gambling site to play. but if you don't have eth or other eth tokens available, you will go for btc or other alts. so yes, there's no finality on this subject matter, totally depends on the player himself. his choices and his availability of funds or his considerations when it comes to casino features.

As I said before, this depends on the preference of the gambler because indeed this is freedom, regardless of gas or indeed whatever it is, it all depends on the person doing it.

I still prefer to use the centralized ones for a simple reason of convenience but won't mostly use either BTC or ETH to save some fees. In choosing casinos, one of the good factors is, that there should be lots of supported coins rather than it was only limited to BTC and ETH.

The advantage of using ETH-based casinos is they are mostly decentralized and with just a simple linking of a wallet like Metamask, users can now start playing without doing some registration. However, I'd rather undergo a registration on a centralized gambling site.

You are the one who can decide. See for yourself if playing at ETH-based casinos would fit your criteria.

^ Definitely right and probably the main problem could be the high gas fee of ETH has remained while BTC you can adjust into a lower fee which is very easy for gamblers to use. I think there is no need to argue with this matter, that is why gambling casinos have multiple coins accepted because gamblers have different preferences in using coins. Only a few of them use smart contract or Dapp gambling casinos which is not very common, so majority of the gamblers choose BTC over ETH, plus factor is very convenient to buy BTC now.

These are the 2 most popular cryptocurrencies, I think there's no need to compare which is better for gambling, it's up to each person's preference.
We can use both for convenience, when Bitcoin transaction fees are too high due to network congestion or for some reason temporarily unable to handle we can switch to using ETH and vice versa.

The differences between this two cryptocurrencies are very clear. This can be the transfer speed (number of confirmations) or the transfer fee. Transaction fees in the Ethereum network are still very high, but transfers are faster than in the Bitcoin network. If you care about speed, choose Ethereum, if on a low transfer fee, then Bitcoin.

During the ATH of the top coins and of course, getting congested that's the era i find some gambling platform that has a lower transaction fee but some of them are still the same rate of it, that's the reason i need to find a platform supported coins that has lower transaction fees, with those I prefer with the XRP because it quite fair with the fees at the same time it is fast to arrive than the other coins like LTC base on my experience but now it is less congested in the market the fees are current low now.

Yes, even ethereum fee is not cheap at all, you can even be able to adjust bitcoin fee in a way it would be cheaper, if talking about the fee, ethereum is also not a good option to go for. Only some other coins that give you low fee, like ripple, litecoin, doge and some other altcoins, but most of the casinos may not support them, unlike bitcoin and ethereum that the casinos support, just as most of the casinos supports bitcoin than ethereum. But to be sincere, from the article, newbie gamblers can see some important information, but while reading the thread further to see how bitcoin casinos are better options to go for.

There's no such thing, or probably only very few casinos, that only use one currency, since most of them use multiple currencies. Therefore, we often find casinos that support both BTC and ETH. If the casino accepts crypto doesn't make it "provably fair" since it is mostly found in hash games. There is also dApps casino that is built with smart contract and on-chain betting, but they all migrated to EOS, BSC, TRX, etc. since ETH is crap (slow, congested, expensive).

So in conclusion, these are common groups:
- fiat casino vs crypto casino
- centralized casino vs dApps casino
- 3rd party games vs hash games (provably fair games)

Many users have already pointed out some "issues" related Eth Casinos. First of all ... ETH is not really decentralized as bitcoin.
Secondly you have high transaction fees (moreover if you send less gas your transaction fail and you loss the amount sent).
Plus there casinos are not really famous as the classic one (crypto or bitcoin casino).
I think that the best option is a casino that allow "multi coins" and not only one or a couple of choice. Moreover the most bigger and famous casinos have already this option ...
