Do not mistaken this, the article is mainly about blockchain gambling, but the dominant gambling are still the centralized ones that  accepts bitcoin, ethereum and some other altcoins like USDT. Some also even still accept both fiat and cryptocurrencies.

Well it is your choice.
You never heard ethereum was widely adopted and become legal tender, only bitcoin.
Ethereum has a huge fee compared to bitcoin, there is LN in bitcoin while ethereum was not.
We are a bitcoin community here which is why most gamblers use bitcoin beside from that --bitcoin is easy to purchase than ethereum.
In technical aspect regarding the decentralized matter, it is far different if you will compare bitcoin to ethereum in gambling casino, bitcoin will always a great advantage.

As of the article below, the average transaction fee of ETH is 0.7358 USD, that's affordable but the moment the market is in bull run, that will just increase and gamblers won't be able to afford on the fees again.

Most gamblers like a fast and cheap(affordable transaction fee) because most of the gamblers does gamble only a small amount of money, and they frequently make deposits and withdrawals.

You can use whatever casino you want. I think that making a distinction between casinos based on what cryptocurrency they are using is wrong.
Almost all online casinos accept both BTC and ETH and there's no point of comparing them based on that particular factor.
The article is about blockchain gambling, but blockchain gambling isn't mainstream and it won't become mainstream anytime soon. Most of the crypto casinos are pretty much centralized. AFAIK, blockchain gambling games are slower than the traditional online gambling games, which ruins the overall player experience.

I also see no reason to use ethereum when bitcoin is more widespread and there is a working LN network in which commissions are generally minimal, and the transaction speed is high. 
Ethereum is also bad in that it will have a transition from PoW to PoS and how it will go through is unknown.  But also the issue with Ethereum commissions remains open.  It is not clear whether they will be normal for most players when the cryptocurrency market goes into a bullish stage.  Summer 2021 showed that there may be unacceptable commissions.  And then it will be impossible to play at all.

I use only Bitcoin casinos,or better to say casinos who use Bitcoin as their primary currency but some of them has also the option to play in Ethereum and Litecoin.I think these casinos are the best as they offer you the choice to play with the currency you like,there are quite some of them,reputable and trustworthy so there is no real need to find an Ethereum only casino.I see no reason to use it except that only transaction time is faster in the Ethereum network and the fees are lower in Bitcoin most of the time,they are up to just 1-2 satoshis as a minimum and that is like 0.02 dollars fee.

Ethereum casinos usually have these unique games that does not appear on any bitcoin casinos. However the downside is that you'll have to shell out a huge amount just for fees. Also, usually these games are under maintenance, or may have lower prize pots because a lot of the attention are on the common casino games which can be found on bitcoin casinos. Bitcoin casino is more common, people choose bitcoin casino over ethereum casino. I understand you, that is what you meant too according to the remaining content of your post.

If the mempool is not congested, you can make bitcoin on-chain transactions with a low feen, mempool is most of the time not congested, but if congested, it would be annoying.

I will still carry to choose Bitcoin casino against Ethereum casino because I am more on bitcoin depositor and withdrawal , in which I love to gamble my funds inside Bitcoin than other coins.
so with that why should i choose other casino options?
but it is good that there are booming ways to gamble than just bitcoin usage .

Just to say, almost all casino, if they offers BTC as a deposit method, then they also offer ETH, these days BTC and ETH are like brothers when it comes to these platforms.

Bitcoin casino and Ethereum casino is not different. All is same casino....just a different payment method. Now normally  almost all casinos site keep there payment method Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT, BNB etc you can deposit any currency and play casino. And you can withdraw any coin which coin you like. Maybe? But looking at the dappradar^[1], OwlDao is the only ETH gambling platform that I know of who also exist in bitcointalk -- probably worth noting. But yeah, most casino on the list are not so popular.

Also, just wanted to clarify some misconception that a gambling platform that allows the deposit and withdrawal of ETH doesn't necessarily mean it is built on top of ETH blockchain -- don't get confused.

Isn't ETH like pretty bad if you were to consider the transaction fees right now? Nit to mention the development of LN which if implemented, solves the issue of speed and cost of transaction for Bitcoin.

Not that it's probably going to matter, most casinos accept multiple currencies and most users would opt to use currencies with low af fees like xrp/litecoin/etc. But yea if we're picking between the two, Bitcoin casinos all the way.

All casino that I am playing are accepting Bitcoin and ethereum with other coins also , so WHy should there is a need to play specifically in Ethereum based casino when there are other option that we can play  more coins with single casino?
and also I think that finding Ethereum based  casino is harder than usual Bitcoin casinos?

When it comes to casinos what I look forward to is fees and once a particular coin be it Bitcoin or ethereum have low fees I will opt-in for it. I am more convenient using Bitcoin to make my bets so most time I use Bitcoin so I am always looking out for casinos that accept Bitcoin. Nevertheless, I may also consider using web3 casinos that have their native token that comes with special bonuses on the casino.
From the article, I guess the author is trying to make a difference between online faint casinos to cryptocurrency casinos, and also trying to make a difference in the gaming experience in the web3 new era experience.

If you like ETH based casino then be it that's your personal choice and everyone have different likes and dislikes but since almost everyone here start with BTC casino for sure many still use BTC as mode of payment upon depositing. Also as we can see we are dominated by BTC based casino and ETH is been alternative given to their users since not everyone can handle the transaction fees when network is so congested on bitcoin network.
