That is a very good advice, not to be emotional selling rather when market get dip, you buy more bitcoin for a long time holding, which many investors make more profits during dip like these in marketplace not to sell, but rather them buy more. Bitcoin is digital assets that has to do with demand and supply of the market across the nation. checking the history of bitcoin in CMC, it really show that more days goes on, more demand come into the industries to buy, and dip is a good position to buy and hold for a long term.

Maybe not ignoring the decline but how we can look for market signals that we think are a good time to enter the market. But if we can see a decline in the market, we can analyze it further to find the time to buy and vice versa. Bitcoin does have a chance to go high and reach a new ATH but we don't know when and as long as the decline occurs, it's a good time to buy bitcoin and hold it until the price goes high and sell it at a high price.

To enter the market, don't just look for signals when you should enter, you must be able to do your own analysis, at least you can basically read the market direction. If we talk about long-term investments, bitcoin does have the potential to go up and reach new ATH for the long term. Investing what you can afford to lose will be very good, But don't put everything in one basket, make a plan for investment so that the investment is safe for the long term.

I’m thinking about new ATH now. It’s definitely gonna break the previous years ATH because many investors are getting chance to buy at high discounts these days which is now creating pretty good market volume. I am not so sure about the altcoins though, their track record is bad and although the top 10 will survive a bear market, how their long term value unfolds is not worth speculating on.

But for bitcoin, one can say with certainty that the future price will be bullish and this bear trend is already seeing a reversal because of the constant movements happening at 20k USD range. We might see a break from these movements towards one direction, whatever it might be, we can handle it like a pro trader if we know how to approach the market in general.

Obviously newbies will panic during a bear market, but knowing that every dip is a opportunity to buy takes time to sink it and so this is nothing different to the veteran traders.

I think investing in bitcoin is very easy and safe compared to others, even if you don't have good analytical skills and anything related to bitcoin movement you can still get good profit.
just buy when it goes down and hold on to sell it back when the price has gone up as you wish, and all you need is strong and consistent patience when the bitcoin price tends to go down don't sell it because of emotion and it will happen better take advantage of the decline to buy continuously every time it declines happen and stay focused on the long term or leave the market and return after hearing good news or a price increase.
and I think most people do that, except trading and it really takes analysis and other stuff and also does it full time to do it.

Obviously, the OP is confused in his conclusions. He talks about two cryptocurrencies at the same time, but he has probably experienced only one.

The market has been stationed at a particular point currently and i don't think if there would be any bull soon. Those who were here early 2017 really understand the market more better and i believe only the new comer's who rebelled about the market.

I guess this is a act of boosting his accounts maybe for a  particular interest, but it is very disappointing seeing that copy and paste without any experience is bad. The current condition of Bitcoin indicates that it is much deeper than its maximum price. So this is the right time to buy. Moreover, the holders have already built their portfolios during this period. We also see that Blue Whales have started buying from the dip. It is hard to believe for the people who haven't experienced the previous time market crash and the bounce back. I still remember those days of bitcoin reaching ath value when the speculations were that bitcoin might reach $7k. All of the sudden price reached high and later it dropped down to $3000. Once again the price bumping took place. So, it is good opportunity and there is nothing to fear.

Except if its unavoidable i don't think this is the best time to sell, and yes one must hold till this phase is passed, bit those on short term investment like trading can stillake good benefits out here by within a day or week, many investors go into buying more this time to sell off whenever there is rise in the price which obviously may take a while before such could happen, which is one of the reasons why we insisting in letting people know that bitcoin isn't a get rich quick like online ponzi.

This is what a veteran does. We do not care about the price, we do not "ignore" it, we cherish it because we love and know that the price will go up, which means that the lower amount of money you could spend on this, means a lot more money when you are dealing with something else in the future when the price is higher.

I have faced a ton of people who turned a few thousand dollars, or a few tens of thousands of dollars, into retirement money. I know one friend of mine who turned under 20k money he invested in 2017 or so, into 4.4 million dollars these days, well at the peak sorry, because after this drop he must have a lot less money obviously.

Yes, if there's a coin that we want to buy during this bear market there's no doubt it will be either bitcoin or eth. We can see that for the last few months, bitcoin shows dip value, we all witness its ATH last year but now bitcoin is around 20k, we can take this opportunity to buy bitcoin at this price, everyone asking is this the right time to buy? I will answer it yes, compare to last few months it is the best time to buy.

Yes, I agree, this is the perfect time to buy but can't say this dip is the ultimate dip, it could be dropped furthermore.
So, I think if anyone wants to invest in bitcoin, he should split his total money and buy bitcoin gradually over the next few months.
I bought some bitcoin when it first dropped to 30K, then I speculate and set my next buying point at 20k.
Now my new target is 17K then 10K, I like to buy gradually and I will hold it until 2025.

I think the performance of btc is better than eth if btc has decreased then altcoins will experience a greater decline than btc and repairing prices is also quite long

Those are simple but wise words, the problem is that the majority of people don't see things the same way you do. The average investor doesn't buy when the price goes down, they buy when it goes up, and usually they buy at the very high price, then it starts to go down, they wait because they hope it'll recover soon but it keeps dumping, at that point they decide to sell to save part of the investment because they start thinking it'll go to 0, after a while the recover and consolidation period begins and these people just lost money.

Thats right. If you able to do this when you invest in crypto, there's a high chance to gain once the market turn bullish. It might take months or years but its worth it. However, its not easy as it seems especially for investors who are relying on their investment. Though we often say dont invest what you cant afford to lose or the money meant for important things, some investors are still not following this. The reason why they cant hold for long and selling at the wrong time.

So before investing make sure that you know what you are getting into. Because it takes a lot of guts and patience to be a huge gainer in crypto.

Having cold money invested and ready to lose is a must. Never use money that is still needed for other purposes. I learned a lot about the past that I've been through.
for long-term investment really have to be patient. there are some people who are impatient because they want a quick profit, who end up losing it all. The bearish market this time has disturbed everyone's psychology, whether they want to continue to maintain or not, or buy again with money in reserve.
