That's what they think and that's the strategy that has in their mind. There's nothing wrong with that strategy that they'll only jump in the ship when the trend is up and the market is showing positive charts again. They just have to do what they think is right and applicable to them.
While us, we know what's the real trend and growth for bitcoin so we do all ignore negative news and anything these experts say about bitcoin and we just do our thing silently by accumulating.

It don't think it could be called a weak mindset. They're very smart, only invest after a strong recovery sign showing the market is indeed back to a bull run. Impatient and bought in the first dip doesn't seem like a good idea to me. You saw how many have said $30k is the lowest for BTC and everyone should buy in the $30k dip? Even right now, BTC is over $20k and not many investors are so sure about this is the dip, the lowest.

There is nothing wrong with what you say and I've only been trading with altcoins and trying to keep Bitcoin as a long term investment. Because I also want to get more profit from Bitcoin and enjoy the benefits of daily trading for my current life. Although in general I have also benefited from Bitcoin because I bought it at a price of $20k before increasing to $24k as you said.

It was bullish for bitcoin and all-time-high was attained. In 2020, there was a time bitcoin was below $4000. In 2021, there was a time bitcoin was above $65000. It was a great passive profit making means for many people, people that hold at the time.

I just don’t mind the dip anymore as I am now committed to buy Bitcoin every month through the traditional old-school dollar-cost averaging (DCA) method. BTC is for long term and I have regretted not doing DCA with it before because of being complacent with various altcoins (especially the pump and dump ones).

Regardless of the price right now, I’ll just keep buying every month with my extra “not beer” money.

That's certainly a good move, consistently buying bitcoin with extra money. At least, you have nothing to worry if bitcoin price will face a big crash in the future. However, if you can maximize your purchase when the market is deeply bearish, and that bitcoin price is in a big sale, that way you will make an edge and you will save much of your funds.
