Hey y'all!

I've just found one of those early silver Dogecoin bars for sale on eBay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/256265665016

I think it's a good deal, but I'm not that knowledgeable when it comes to market prices for cryptocurrency collectibles.

Is this a good buy? Thanks. Smiley

That appears to be a silver plated one.

If you look at the mintages here, http://bigtimespaghetti.com/mintage.html

you will see there were 20 pure silver (unnumbered) and 31 pure silver (numbered)

and then, If you look at the pictures here, you will see one clearly marked as pure silver but is not numbered.

https://imgur.com/a/gwWEYyH

the point is the silver ones are marked as pure silver - the plated ones are not. and the one on the ebay listing appears to be one of the unmarked bars.

Nice observation, bud. And yet I've thought I was actually bidding for the real deal. Do you think the asking price of $99 is fair for a silver plated piece with a mintage of 180 units? Sorry for asking but I am new to cryptocurrency collecting.

Cheers Smiley

it's not that bad. and I messaged them on ebay and let them know there as well which may be the reason the listing changed. so they are at least honest and just didnt realize their mistake. you could message them on ebay and offer to do the deal thru the forums - they might go a little lower if they dont have to give a huge cut to ebay.

I do marvel at the lack of care and quality of pictures that sellers put up for $100+ items. A lot of it still gets sold though.

There was a ( Gold B )Casascius Series-3 Gold Plated Silver 1 oz 2013 1BTC Bitcoin (Redeemed) up for auction on eBay, being sold out of Germany , been following the auction closely, it had a few days left and it was no reserve bid up to about $700, then it just disappeared today, no record of it, nothing in completed items, weird.  Was a nice coin, I wonder if someone negotiate a price outside of the auction. It was a beautiful find.. the only proof I have of it is from my email

Link of coin: https://ibb.co/qCq46py

Which one of you guys snagged it ?  And how much do you want profit for it ?  Lol 😂

Could be a scam.

Do you have the username of the seller. This appears very similar to a deal that I have personally been scammed on.

Guy lists Og coin for no reserve, coin sells low, he takes you on telegram and scams you.

Very similar to this:

The Cas the scammer is claiming to be selling is from a previous auction on the auction platform Scarce City.

I’m pretty eBay savvy, in the early 2000s I was one of Ebay’s top 500 sellers. I know how to search pretty extensively, but I can’t find any of the info it’s like it completely disappeared, that Email is the only trace of it, and when you click the link, it goes to a broken page on eBay . But you could easily be right .

I PMd the guy with the gold Cas and he was asking $5k pounds for it.  Not sure if someone paid that but seemed pretty hefty.

I think he got worried it wasn’t going to do the money, (which it wouldn’t have done close to 5k pounds).  But I forget if you stop your own auction does it still show up in completed items, im a little rusty.  Thanks for the info ,

If I remember correctly this was a special from their kickstarter.
Was the puzzle any good/cool/interesting or would you describe it more or less as a useless gimick?
Got a few of these decks, too. Pretty good finish and I know some card magicians using them for that reason, too.

I bought it directly from their site - it did take me a while to get it done - and just in case I could not do it again to prove I had done it originally - I swapped in the black and green decks Smiley

if you know the code to the cards it is possible to know what each card is from the backside.

I've found a DiY Bitcoin selling on eBay. The maker is KHRUSOS. It's interesting, but I couln't find any info related the number of coins minted and the material. At $89+, it might be expensive.

Here's the link if y'all wanna take a sneak peak: https://www.ebay.com/itm/145412584002

they have a buy 3 get 1 free - if 4 people agreed to get one the cost would be 60 per coin vs 80 per coin. I cannot do it because it requires a fiat pymt. but if someone does, I would buy one of the coins.
