Many Testnet bitcoins, tBTC. They are hard to come by - mining or faucets are impractical for users wishing to test external devices, cross wallet functionality, LN, multisig, mixers, etc. Does anyone need them? https://altquick.com/exchange/market/BitcoinTestnet

Buying and selling of TBTCs is a frowned upon practice. Testnet coins are meant to be worthless.
If someone needs a larger amount of TBTC, a couple of members in bitcointalk are lending or giving them away for free. A quick lookup in your search engine (using "site:bitcointalk.org") and you'll find them otherwise start a thread about it.

I guess it's time to restart testnet again. That would make it testnet version 4 already.
If you have testnet Bitcoin you don't need, you can do everyone a favour and send them to a faucet.

Faucets are useless to people who need a bunch. I have many to offer for serious dev efforts.

probably nobody needs from you. for wallet testing purposes, in just two clicks in the search, I found several facets which offer free testnet BTC. (not exclusively small amounts)

Why are people so selfish and greedy for money, especially on something (testnet BTC) they received for free? What's the point of someone getting a bunch anyway?

Why not give them away for free with a bottom for Lightning Network Donations? I think I'd be happy to donate a cup of coffee for you instead of buying tBTC from you. Is there a reason for testing tBTC with so many coins? The same principle of distributing one bitcoin will apply to 1k. In general, I do not think that anyone will mind you getting profits, but be innovative in the way to achieve them instead of selling something for free.

Something given away for free is not valued -- that's why there's a shortage. Spending time, energy, care providing bulk amounts of tBTC to someone who wants to use them to develop serious project is not free either -- try if you disagree.

Amen to that! Faucets are useless to people who need a bunch. I have many to offer for serious dev efforts.
Just because it takes some time to accumulate through faucets, it doesn't make them useless... For normal people, they're more than enough and when it comes to developers who might need larger amounts, they can go with the " Regtest" route instead!

Restarting will take several years at least. Or never. But if someone needs 100+ tBTC today, I know where to find them.

There's now a real life market for Testnet bitcoins (tBTC). This is the exchange: https://altquick.com/market/TestnetBitcoinLet's see if all this talk of them being "valueless" "useless" "worthless" is true or not?

Let's see if all this talk of them being "valueless" "useless" "worthless" is true or not? It's true. The fact that someone is willing to sell them for something greater than 0 doesn't alter that fact. I'm giving tBTC for free, and I'm sure others do too, therefore the current monetary value is $0. Think of this: If a bitcoin user chooses to sell their BTC with an exchange rate of $1,000,000/BTC, it doesn't mean each BTC is worth $1,000,000, as long as there are other sellers with more reasonable prices.

What should I do if I don't have Bitcoin Test Net?? If you need some testnet coins you can claim some through a faucet, you will find plenty of them with a Google search. You can also mine them with a USB miner, or your CPU/GPU. You can find specifics topics about testnet mining here on the forum

All true! Sounds like a nice science project. If you however want 10 or 100 or 1000 Testnet BTC coins -- earlier than six months down the road -- you can get them at this site right now: https://altquick.com/market/TestnetBitcoin HW testing, multisig configurations, LN tests, etc.

Also, the logic, If have a real btc, of course, it will be better if use real btc than testnet.

Testnet Bitcoins are not real Bitcoins and have no monetary value. They are used specifically for testing purposes on a blockchain network, different from the leading Bitcoin network. Suppose you are interested in offering your Testnet Bitcoins to the community. In that case, you can try contacting developers and testers on forums, social media, or online communities related to cryptocurrency development and testing.
