So I am a player of bitsler, I also contribute by reporting errors and typos, bugs(mostly just display ones), suggestions and recommendations.
So last month I came to discover a presumably unintentional privacy violation of Bitsler, I told Gabriel(one of their admin) about it.
Come today, I checked and the error is still happening. So with the help of a friend in what I should do, I decided to follow the procedure listed here:

  This will serve as my formal application for the bounty you offer for finding error and/or bug.

What I found was you're possible exposure to consequences for violation of privacy of users. Since you guys have
the feature where players can hide their username from the public list of bets, players would expect you to make
sure their username is not seen by public in the "All Bets" list. For most of the games, it is working just fine,
except for Blast.

you are not right here, I think there have already been similar discussions. Any giveaway or bonus offered by the casino is not part of the strict rules, and they always reserve the right to make any changes, no matter when. You can't do anything there.

Next in your case, they are already covered by the possibility of a case like yours. They will be paid in BTC, only if you first one who's reported the same bug.

it also seems that they already know about that bug, therefore, you are not the first to inform them about him. if they already knew about him and didn't bother to fix it, I believe that this bug is not that important to them. (Less reward for reporting it)


what I like least about the whole thing, is in one part of the conversation, you seem like you are begging for BTC.
I mean, you talk about the giveaway without clearly indicating value, but you still need him, plus asking for a withdrawal fee. I'm not sure that the ultimate goal of any casino is for users to take gifts and giveaways with them. it is always part of the casino promotions, I don't know how you came to the conclusion that BTC should be sent directly to your wallet.

The site have fixed withdrawal fee, so for example, if they paid me with 50k sats and the withdrawal fee is 60k sats. That would be a trip!
I asked for btc to be sent because I want BTC. In the email chain they claim their developers are already aware of the bug, and I don't have any reason to doubt them.  If you like the site, and want it persist, then reporting bugs shouldn't be dependent on being rewarded.  Reporting bug is noble thing to do, and offering a bounty is also a noble thing to do, but making a stink about what the reward is, or how it's delivered isn't a good look, in my opinion.

Yes I was the first one. That's the reason they gave me a Vip Gold Chest as the reward.

whatever you call it, there is still no pre-determined precise amount set aside for this. So, it can be $1, $100 or $1000, you can't know and the decision is up to the Bitsler admin team.

Again, it's very likely for Bitsler this is not a high-priority bug. the obvious proof is that they have known about it for several weeks (only on the basis of your report) but they still haven't fixed that error.

I know about their withdrawal fee, several times I received some bonuses, bounties or whatever we call it. However, you can exchange Bitcoin for a currency that has a lower withdrawal fee.

unfortunately, I think you interpret their terms too subjectively, you expect what you need, not what's real.

Maybe all this is not fair to you, but some rules are defined by Bitsler. you can accept them or not.

@Jamyr, I don’t see in the picture or email chain that you provide that confirming you are the one who reported it first. The admin(Gabriel) just acknowledged your report and forwarded it to the technical devs which is the common action of support. We need to see here a solid evidence that you indeed report it first or some acknowledgment from the admin. Sending you a VIP chest is not a solid proof to prove point since they have a rule to sent only BTC to first reporter.

I hope you can get what you deserve for your bug finding work since this is not an easy job.

On the contrary it was very easy, I just made a bet, felt something was not right. And figured out it was my username shown on the public bet.
I considered it not a job but an occasional gig(For a lot of instances I would find myself in the website not playing not chatting but checking for errors or something that can be improved. For the longest time I did not use support to report them, I usually just dm NwoBitcoin our very engaged community manager or Gabriel, but recently I was told to refer to support for bounties/bugs/display errors/, so I did)

If I am not mistaken they are very busy with a lot of things like new Bitsler games, coming up with promotions and stuff, but I wouldn't say they considered the report and privacy less than high-priority. Perhaps it was partly my fault for not following standard submission of report.

AFAIK, Bitsler use dynamic withdrawal fee for BTC now. They were using fixed withdrawal fee in the past, which was 30k and 60k satoshi at the moment. The last time I have withdrawn BTC from Bitsler in the February month and the withdrawal fee was quite low. I have provided the information here. I just asked the live support of Bitsler and they have confirmed that BTC withdrawal fee is still dynamic (depends on network condition).

Anyway, you should appreciate the amount which you have received from Bitsler team for reporting the issue. They haven't mentioned in the article that the reward will be paid directly to your wallet. They have rewarded you with a gold chest at least. You have received a little amount of XRP from it by using your luck. I don't see any reason for creating this flag. Seems like you are trying to create a pressure on Bitsler team so that they pay you BTC on your wallet.

I am opposing this flag, even if I think that Bitsler acted little unprofessionally (with $2.5 reward), that doesn't deserve flag or negative feedback.
If you find a bug in any website you have the option to report it or to exploit this bug, and it's up to owners to decide if they want to reward you anything.
I respect services that have open bug bounty reward but it's mandatory to have one.

Bitsler did not feel that the bug was that big an issue or they didn't feel you were the 1st user to report it, or whatever. They gave you something so be happy.
