Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's
computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be
reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

AFAIK, it doesn't and there's no plan to support it in the near future! and what is the importance to use taproot address?
OP of this thread already created a thread that covers this question [make sure to "also" read the subsequent posts on that thread]: Bitcoin Taproot (Bech32m - bc1p) adoption

Nice tutorial, this was pretty clear though I haven't yet tried. I will have a try tonight with my ledger one. Everything is clear but what I'm concerned is why have you blurred the address in the url section while the same address is available right after the payment url. Or what is missing which I can't find or understand. Why didn't you blur from the address tab if that's the issue.

No. Since version 4.1.0, it's possible to send fund to a taproot address, but it's still impossible to create a taproot address in electrum. According to the post made byecdsa on electrum's github, developers surely have plan to add the possibility of creating taproot addresses in electrum.

You might want also to add Exodus to the list I will have to spend a few days to consider it. Main reason is Exodus wallet is not a completely open-source wallet. Many opponents of that wallet are close-source. Is Exodus open source?
Although Exodus is built on many open-source components, there are components of Exodus that are not open-source.
Exodus publishes some open-source work used in Exodus on Github. You can view the source code, history, and continually published updates by visiting: Exodus Movement.
You can find Exodus's developer documentation that shows you how to support Exodus Web3 Wallet in your Web3 app here: Exodus Docs.
Thank you for links that look useful but as written, I will have to consider about the close-source specification of Exodus wallet.

it's quite sad electrum is too late to implement, electrum is what most people used. The dev must be looking to implement it on the next update.
One of the wallet I have been expecting P2TR in its update is Electrum, but nothing like that yet, but Electrum is still one of the best bitcoin wallets with many features that many other bitcoin wallets are not having, we hope it supports P2TR later on. Another wallet I have been expecting to see P2TR is Bluewallet, not yet supporting it too. I will have to spend a few days to consider it. Main reason is Exodus wallet is not a completely open-source wallet. Many opponents of that wallet are close-source.
Unless you just want to make a table to differentiate the open source wallets and the close source wallets that support P2TR would be my advice. I too will like to see just the open source wallets that support P2TR only on your list. Close source wallets should not be recommended because of any reason when there are open source alternatives.

OP, I know almost everyone is all about privacy but I do think you could've chosen to use fresh wallet addresses or newly installed wallets for your exposition in instances where you needed to blur the addresses like in a few examples you made. By the way, it's there any reason for blurring them while some were left open?

He didn't answer Little Mouse's question as well: Everything is clear but what I'm concerned is why have you blurred the address in the url section while the same address is available right after the payment url. Or what is missing which I can't find or understand.
Nor reply to Husna QA's mention of the uncensored part of the image: You are censoring Bitcoin addresses on the barcode and URI but not censoring the Address field.
My guess is: The QR Code is censored so that user wont accidentally scan it, and the URI part of the invoice is censored so users wont be able to click it ( but it's an image :P).

You made a valid point and I much appreciate it. It is a good reminder for newbies who share their seeds, private key, public address online without consideration about their privacy. Everything is clear but what I'm concerned is why have you blurred the address in the url section while the same address is available right after the payment url. Or what is missing which I can't find or understand.

I wanted to reply when I saw those posts but I did not log in my account. Today I can answer that - That wallet is a dummy one that I never use. - So why did I blur in some images? I want to make a good practice but forgot to blur in one or two images which were spotted by some members. Because I think if we don't care about blurring image with example, maybe we will have bad habit to be careless when we share wallets which we actually use for our bitcoins. My guess is: The QR Code is censored so that user wont accidentally scan it, and the URI part of the invoice is censored so users wont be able to click it ( but it's an image ). You made a funny guess but there are reasons why you guessed so. Well minded man.

Ok, I think I've an idea what you intended to achieve by blurring addresses and that's to alert users that they don't have to expose their addresses. However, I don't that should be any problem with public addresses since it's the medium for receiving transactions. I don't think anyone loses anything by exposing that or do they? That's not like Pkeys or Passphrases.

Create your Bitcoin wallet with Taproot addresses to minimize fee you pay for transactions and to support Taproot adoption.
P2TR transactions are of low fee, but it is worth knowing that the segwit version 0 which is still widely used are also of low fee. If you are the type that make transactions with many outputs often with little inputs, segwit version 0 is of lower fee, but if you are the type that receive transactions often without spending it, P2TR is of low fee while consolidating or sending more inputs.

@SquirrelJulietGarden OneKey recently added support for Taproot, so here are the steps for creating Taproot addresses in their Android app [it seems to be "open-source"]: - When you first open the app, it creates an Ethereum account by default, so you have to change it from the top of the page and select Bitcoin.
- Then click the "create account" button:
- Choose Taproot
- Click "receive" button

Dear colleagues! Do you have any information when devs electrum will finally add Taproot support. ? it’s generally strange that such a popular wallet hasn’t been able to do this for so long. I'm just surprised by this decision devs electrum?. Obviously, you still have to add P2TR accounts. And it's better if the devs add them sooner rather than later.

Do you have any information when devs electrum will finally add Taproot support. ?
AFAIK, there's no roadmap on their " Github repo", so I don't think anyone of us has that information, but they did mention " Taproot has to wait because they're focusing on the lightning & UX parts" and since most of their recent updates involve lightning, I don't think it's that far [hopefully]. I'm just surprised by this decision devs electrum?.
Same here and they seemed to be annoyed when users ask about it:
