It can be both bad and good, depends on perspective.
I would suggest don’t go for ICOs and IEOs or tokens, rather go for coins that are listed in popular exchanges.
Else investing in these shitty tokens will not help other than scamming your money.
Moreover I would suggest to go for coins with great marketcap,as these are the coins that have potential to grow.

If you are familiar to high risk high reward, You are doing that when investing on new project because typically volatility was very high on new project token since there’s still hype on investment and there’s no established price about the valuation of the token. So you literally gambling on buying a token which you don’t know if it will still rise or burn down to the ground.

It’s true that you can get more profit on it but expect that you can get more loss on it too. No pain no gain on this kind of token.

Some of them might crash and will never recover again so it's better to invest in old and well-established coins that have been through different market situations because they can resist this bear season. First of all i would never do what some people are telling you to do on the internet or anywhere else. If you think that an advice about an potentially interesting project sounds good then start your own research about it and decide for yourself if you want to invest or not. The advice that you received or have read is not a good one in my opinion. While it is true that an investment in new and upcoming projects can give you the biggest potential profit it is also true that the risk that you are losing all your money when you do that is very very high. Especially in a bear market like at the moment investing in new projects is extremely risky.

Yes for cheaper price, but no for obvious reasons that you might end up investing to a shitcoin which is waaaay common in the altcoin market.
I had some coins invested back in 2017 and they were dumped really bad and loss value just couple of months after the listing.
