I had never heard about all these cases of Superstition and as an African I have heard a lot about Superstition, but I confess that I didn't know that casinos also believe in these things, well in my case I just make bets based on my analysis and news that I read about the game I'm going to bet on, I only trust these two options and luck. Of course I don't want to say that these Superstition things don't exist. each person is free to believe what he wants, it is part of life. here in africa I realized a lot, people will always cling to something mystical to survive, to fill the void in their heart or to serve as a pillar in their heart to face everyday problems. in africa even people kill themselves for believing in myths and superstition

There are all kinds of beliefs similar to this. In general, I'd call these practices superstitions rather than just feng shui. Feng shui of course is popular but it is basically Chinese in origin. In my country, as in other countries as well, there are also similar traditional beliefs.

Personally, I don't observe any feng shui practice in gambling. Neither am I applying it in my life. Gambling remains to be about luck in general.

And I guess this kind of belief are more prevalent in gambling. Anything that the gambler thinks that will bring them good luck, they are going to follow and believed on that. Specially on some intercession from the "Higher up". Fung Shui though is general, I mean it is not only apply in gambling, but in business, and if life as a whole.

Not at all because to practice it at least we have to understand or study Fengshui beforehand itself, while we gamble it doesn't seem like it will take a complicated way to start gambling. Indeed, for those who are used to and understand Fengshui it may be easy, but for ordinary people I believe this kind of thing will not be a consideration. Except about a spell or an amulet that can be used without having to learn it and it will be simpler, but apart from all that things like this are certainly a variety that becomes interesting to do and try.

according to my mind, chinese superstition beliefs are the same as belief in mantra which have the meaning of wishing luck when playing gambling and done before playing or when playing gambling.

when playing gambling i never do Fengshui or anything it's just for the sake of luck and never have any desire for Fengshui practice questions. because i play gambling just to entertain myself without expecting victory or luck. if i win in gambling i just take it as a bonus when entertaining myself.

but i still appreciate someone trusting Fengshui for their luck when it comes to gambling.

It is just to create a beautiful ambient in the casino when we go to play at a land line casino,everything there is setup to make the user feel at home,relaxed and comfortable,the free drinks,the ladies,the sounds of slots plus the architecture of the casino itself is just put in place to do that.

Fengshui is some art of  achieving this harmony but in the end it got nothing to do with our luck and winnings in a casino,that is still decided by the house edge which is in place in slot machines to make sure casinos hit a profit.Also in roulette the betting limit is there to stop Martingale as we know Martingale always works with an infinite amount of money in a land line casino because you cannot hit always red,sometimes it is inevitable that black will fall.

Actually there's nothing wrong with it because we have different perspectives and believe we all wish to have a great fortune and future with the business and also to gain money some of the people having this belief makes them more have a smooth way of earning some of them already adopted this because nothing will disappear if they do this.

Feng shui is just one of the eight superstitions that is listed, including one about females that they believe to gamble during their menstruation to have luck. The west side of a casino or room during gambling as for example, or anywhere you can see a door as another example are considered to be good luck according to the article. But this is the first time I am hearing about this and I have been gambling for years. As for my opinion, I do not believe in anything like this, I do not take gambling serious because I do not see it a a way to make money, so nothing attached like superstition.

In my opinion, everything about gambling here depends on the perception of the player himself of his winnings and defeats, it seems that professional or the most successful players have their own rules before the game and they really believe in them, but these same rules or superstitions are absolutely no guarantee of luck for others.

Gambling remains to be about luck in general.

Indeed it is and that's why people who are into Fengshui and other superstitious beliefs are doing it to increase their luck.

Cannot break that belief that has been there for ages and it's up to us whether we'll try it or not or just ignore what they've been doing. As for me, I'm ignoring them and I don't rely my luck on any of those traditions anymore.

Because when I do, I can't feel the effect.

The world scientific community considers fengshui a pseudoscience because it is impossible to verify the existence of qi energy flows on which this theory is based. In my opinion, those people who believe in this theory are trying to change their lives for the better with this belief just like people who believe in God do. I don't think it helps them either in life or in gambling.

Most hotels with casinos for international travelers will skip number four so that Chinese gamblers stay there. It's not like non Chinese people have tetraphobia as well. Nokia did this as well, they went from series 30 to series 50 for their Asian market.

Superstition is not based on anything real though, but many gamblers are extremely superstitious, so it makes sense to cater for them in different businesses.

As long as I know gambling I think so far no one can get the role of a professional gambler, it all just depends on luck, although with poker gambling it also won't be possible when they get very random cards and I think gambling places have very good algorithms made deliberately to make it difficult for players to get a win, because when many win from a gambling place it will make the developer of the gambling place a loss.

Why wouldn't it, people believe it so some casinos capitalize on it by advertising they have it or they believe in it so people who believe it would actually chose said casinos to play in since well, it aligns with their belief or something along the lines. Some people have had a good experience with it though honestly, it's all just luck to me, nothing more, nothing else.

I have some habits I do, something like how choosing C on an exam would bring you the correct answer one way or another kind of habit, it's something I subconsciously do when a certain/specific scenario pops up or happens to me whenever I play.

It's their superstitious belief, if they believe it's real then let it be, because they've been believing on it since their ancestors, I guess that's why they still take it up to now. I've watched a horror movie regarding about Fengshui, and I believe they are just scared of what's gonna happen if they don't follow the thing they believe into.

I am Never Fengshui practice to gamble, except a few of my friends, they often look at the clock, look at people's clothes, count buttons, feel the wind pass them etc. I don't know what it means because I didn't ask either, but I'm sure they also practice Fengshui when gambling because nature can also tell humans. Maybe just same any other superstitions mantra but I think Fengshui refers to nature, color, time and numbers.

I don't know if it has anything to do with Feng Shui and the casino, but it seems the casinos trust it so much that they use it. Maybe some users also trust it and use it before they play. For example, when they want to go to the casino, they are required to go through the path shown by the Feng Shui expert, and later when they return, they have to go through another path. Or if they want to play at one table, they better face east.

Feng shui is a science inherited from Chinese society that regulates the flow of energy (qi), and its effect brings positive energy and avoids negative energy that will not disappear and is believed to bring good and good luck.

I don't think so, fengshui does not refer to nature, color, time and numbers. however fengshui refers to the flow of qi energy, for harmony and balance. even if there are fengshui practices used in gambling I think the underlying thing is the method in the calculation. I don't know if it's true or not, at least this is what I know. Regardless of whether someone believes it or not, I think the most influential thing in gambling is the absolute luck factor without involving fengshui or things related to superstition.

I believe since the people who are really rich in the gambling scene are mostly Asian or to be more precise, Chinese, they tend to really apply their belief system to what they are doing. In Asia, I know that there are certain traditions that are being practiced because the generations before them have practiced them. It's just a passing of tradition and the belief is still there.

Some applications of it are probably not so helpful but they are just there because they believe it. It's just nothing to verify it on, it's either a coincidence or a lucky expense or something. It's just that for sure.

Maybe they are just following it for "extra measures".
