The battle for the top scorer award could get even more exciting:

Borussia Dortmund just signed ex FC Köln goal scorer Anthony Modeste and RB Leipzig buys back Timo Werner from FC Chelsea.

Huge news for Leipzig and Dortmund.
But Köln will be very unhappy about Anthony Modeste, as he's a Legend at FC Köln and has always been very valuable for FC Köln's goals.  

Dortmund and Haller could have worked out, but as you said Haller is sick for quite some time. So in Dortmund I really don't see a player scoring 25 goals. But I don't see a 30 goal scorer this season anyway. Bayern will score the most goals, no doubt, and that raises the chance to also produce the best goal scorer, but it's still different this season in my opinion as there is no Lewandowski like player.

But Dortmund has hired ANTHONY MODESTE now.  
Unfortunately, I can't change my bets anymore.

Btw, Leipzig currently being held to a 1-1 draw by Stuttgart as we are into the final minute isn't something I saw coming, even though they're playing away from home I thought they'd be able to secure all 3 points.

Oh I didn't expect to reach the second rank of this pool even if it's shared with 5 other contestants , but a little bit of chance is better for starting a game than the opposite I would say. Anyway almost all participants have scored more than 10 points for this very first match day, it shows how high is the level of this pool despite counting 21 participants only.

Thanks cygan! I am very happy to be the leader as of now. Considering that I am no expert in Football at all I am pretty surprised but I guess it was just a fair bit of luck

I hope that the freebet feature will be implemented according to the estimates in mid september. Otherwise I'd also take some freespins but I think that that is out of question for this pool ?

that's right. in this international bundesliga pool you can only win freebets in the amount of 2mBTC

and that's what's so exciting about a pool, that also participants with less football knowledge can win and not only those who follow the leagues daily/weekly.

never had much faith in Leipzig, and that proved right in this round
Stuttgart is decent at team, it is a big club after all, they celebrated last season that they avoided relegation, as some teams do not celebrate titles, and this season should be better hopefully

Leverkusen had rough time in Dortmund, but fast goal solved all for Dortmund, Lever had their chances, and red card for Hradecky is something that is rarely seen

Haaa men, i really dont know how you can know, that, i put the RB to win without thinking so much.

And in the other game i put a draw and was close, but Dortmund finally win.

The first round always are more lucky than the other because you cant know how the teams really are.

Don't know what I have in the pool at the moment, but I checked the game today and I belive Dortmund will have a though night. Freiburg looked great in first GW and their new signings clicked well with the rest of the squad.

I have placed my money on both to score @1.6 and I feel like it should pass easy. Don't know who will take the points but there should be goals.

Well done! Great performance. While my result this round is really beginner luck. Like I said already, Bundesliga isn't isn't my tournament and it's difficult to compete with guys from Germany who probably follow it much more closely. I didn't even watched any games in full this round, just fragments of it while jumping through channels between EPL and La Liga games. I just hope that next round I won't repeat my performance in negative direction .

Pretty interesting that no one predicted Borussia Dortmund as the team with the top goal scorer: 18x FC Bayern and 2x Bayer Leverkusen - 0x Borussia Dortmund.

For our betting game, a possible move has therefore only limited relevance, but I think that if the move actually happens, the Bundesliga and especially the BVB could once again be significantly upgraded when it comes to international standing.

I wouldn't think Dortmund could get Ronaldo a month ago, but after all those rejections he got from top clubs plus United playing like shit and not being a part of Champions League... I can see how he could choose Dortmund which would guarantee first team football and CL. I am also sure he would like to try another top league and stop Bayern domination, especially after Bayern rejected him.

I am always expecting both to score in Germany while ML often leaves me wanting  Just look at last game week, all games on Saturday ended with BTTS and most were draws.
