I see that these news weren't posted here, so, ICYM, Manuel Neuer broke his leg while skiing and he won't be able to play this season:

Yeah I have seen the news and article that I read immediately assumed they will find a replacement in winter transfer window and already threw around a couple of names. One of them was Croatian goalkeeper Livaković who is having a very nice world cup and probably caught a few eyes.

Neuer isn't that young any more so maybe they need a new number one sooner than later just in case he never comes back to top form.

There have been various rumours in the last few days, but I think that it is currently most likely that they will bring back Alexander Nübel, who is currently on loan at AS Monaco.

Nübel, however, does not seem to be sure yet whether he really wants to return to FC Bayern. As a young goalkeeper, he of course wants one thing above everything else, time on the pitch. And if Manuel Neuer should return in six months, Nübel will certainly not simply sit on the bench as second goalkeeper.

I read that there is an issue between him and Bayern goalkeeper coach Tapalovic. If Bayern won't get rid of Tapalovic, he won't return to the club. Offcourse, it's only rumours and it migh be false. Now I see Gladbach goalkeepr Yann Sommer mentioned as main target.
BTW, just now I realized that Neuer is already 36 years old, I thought that he is few years younger. But 36 years isn't that much for goalkeeper, without injuries it's possible to play at top level until 38 or even 40 years, so, it's nothing surprising that he is planning to lead Germany in Euro 2024.

They are even more crazy, their EFL Cup action resumed today already, just 2 days after World Cup final. I'm waiting for club action too, but now some time is needed to rest. There was so much emotions during World Cup, especially late stages of it and now it's a bit difficult to watch club football.

in less than 2 weeks, the long winter break will be over and we can get back to our picks and funny bundesliga pool
so far, there have been no big-name transfers where you could immediately say that this player will definitely strengthen his new club... bayern is still (after the serious injury of Manuel Neuer) looking for a new #1 in goal
but it is still as said just under 2 weeks time until then on Friday 20 january the ball in the bundesliga stadiums rolls again
