If I didn't forget about making prediction after the returnal of the World Cup I would have been higher in the pool. As our points are very close to each other it is very difficult to atone for a mistake like this. But I will do my best. By the way, I could have won much more if I had some luck on my betslip which I made with the freebet I won because of being one of the members with the highest points on the 20th match week. I wish I won 670 bucks. The first match was Liverpool vs Everton and it was counted as an odd of 1 because of ending 2-0. And the payment for the betslip was made according to it. Icopress really seems close to the prize of this week.

It's getting really interesting: after Bayern lost yesterday, Union Berlin only achieved a draw against Schalke 04.
Borussia Dortmund won 4-1 against Hertha BSC and now, Bayern, Union and BVB have the same number of points:



Freiburg, Leipzig and Frankfurt are still close as well and if the Bundesliga top teams should waste some more easy points, even different teams could end up winning the league.
Bayern is only still leading because of their impressive number of goals. 

Next week, Bayern will face Union in Allianz Arena. Odds are favoring Bayern massively but even if they only share points, Dortmund could end up leading the table next week.

Union not winning today costed me big time. Lost the ticket and fallen quite the way down the pecking order in our pool.

At least we have a super competitive fight for the Champion title this season, not something that can often be said in Bundesliga. But I am just waiting for the Bayern to separate on the top. They will find the way to win against Union next week and Dortmund will find a way to screw it up themselves sooner or later.

but it's still early in the season and anything can happen. the Bundesliga is always exciting and unpredictable, and this season is no exception. With the top teams all within striking distance of each other, it's anyone's guess who will end up on top. It's going to be an exciting race to the finish!

Seems that I'm not alone who got burned by Union draw with Schalke... Well, now we have 3 teams with 43 points and Bayern - Union next week. And Borussia is looking very impressive after World Cup break.
 

A very unlucky red card for Bayern very eraly in the game opened the door for Gladbach. Upamecano barely touched the Gladbach player, so very harsh decision extremely early in the game.

It was harsh decision, but Upamecano was last defender remaining, if not foul, Gladbach player would go 1 on 1 with Sommer, so it was last hope foul.

interesting fact is that no matter M'Gladbach being constant "pain" for Bayern, everyone (me included) in the pool predicted that Bayern (that is not in some great form and have PSG in mind) will win - pure consensus

Well, Gladbach has been playing very poorly in their recent games, let alone their big loss against Hertha BSC Berlin from last week, when Gladbach lost 1-4 in Berlin. Hertha BSC Berlin is currently one of the weakest teams in the league, except Schalke (and maybe Hoffenheim, too).
So, a Gladbach win seemed to be very unlikely.
And it destroyed my free bets as well.

didn't check that one out, but yeah, those odds are far from realistic, Stuttgart should be weaker opponent than Union at the moment
and just after match with Union, Bayern has derby with PSG, so there could be some stretch to expect surprise, while against Stuttgart, it is just name that keeps Stuttgart in play

maybe they know something about Union, that we don't know, and will become known after EL match with Ajax?

I agree here, it just seems to be weird. Maybe it's due to speculation Stuttgart vs. Bayern will happen 1 week later and after Bayern vs. PSG, that Bayern might be exhausted or will play some bench players? It wouldn't make sense as well because Bayern can't afford to slip in Bundesliga. Union and BVB are right behind Bayern...

Yes, Stuttgart is still a big name and some might call it Derby as well (capital of Baden Württemberg vs. capital of Bavaria) but overally, Stuttgart is performing very weak in Bundesliga currently.

Nkunku is back for Leipzig, maybe he could be a factor but I wouldn't underestimate Frankfurt. After Frankfurt's loss against Napoli, Frankfurt could try to focus more on Bundesliga and defeating Leipzig would get Frankfurt into a better position to secure a Champions Leage qualification sport for next season.

For sure, Dortmund has a realistic chance to win the title but we should not forget that Bayern finished already some games, where it faced strong opponents, for example Leipzig. Dortmund is still facing Leipzig and that's also affecting odds.

Dortmund is in great shape lately, winning in series, and they are raising title ambitions certainly, while Leipzig have solid result from City match, although hardly to go through in CL

only thing that is standing over Dortmund is match with Chelsea in CL, that is as important as Friday match
goals should be definitely better option, but lower odds, than home win

it will be a very exciting game in any case. both clubs have the same number of goals scored as well as goals let in (45-27). with a home win dortmund could climb back to first place for at least 24 hours and at the same time increase the gap to rb leipzig (then 7 points).
but also on saturday there is a very interesting game and that is vfl bochum meets schalke 04. both clubs occupy relegation places and both clubs are forced to win.
