Must of people think ETH is a strong altcoin and it have bright future. ETH can reach 10k usd in future. People trust Ethereum only after Bitcoin. And like bitcoin, Ethereum is considered a strong asset. I am holding 2 ETH and I think these will make me a great asset in the future. ETH can make new ATH 10k usd in the next big pump

How do you think that ETH next ATH will be $10k? ETH is a good altcoin it is true and i also believe Ethereum will do something better in the future. But that doesn't seem to happen very soon. If the ecosystem works perfectly and no bugs appear, then in 3-4 years such a price is possible. Prior to this, Ethereum worked stably for 7 years, except for the forced fork due to the hacking of the first DAO. The most difficult time will be after September 19 if the Merge goes through.

Of course, the target of $10k is very realistic to reach ATH in the future because now the ETH network has resolved the complaint of high gas fees and we just have to wait for the time for the market to go up, from my analysis ETH includes the highest recovery reaching $2k, so it's an early indication about the next ATH.

One analysis I've read, it says maybe we'll get something like a pump for the short term. He said that for short term he's bullish but these effects would still have to go into balancing eventually.

But with such news and everything that seems to be positive for ETH, I'm bullish on it and whether it'll be back to its former ATH. Then, that's good to hear and see but I'm optimistic with the upcoming merge and its effect to the entire eth network.

As merging is set to create better opportunities and positive feedbacks, then I’m also optimistic that the upcoming merging will certainly bring ethereum into its new all time high. Although no one can perfectly foresee what’s ahead for ethereum, but if this upcoming merge is for a better cause, then I’m rooting for it, and believe that it’s set for a brighter future for ethereum network and its community.

I'm guessing that the merge gonna have low relevancy for the overall value of the eth, after all it's like the case of btc halving from my 2 cents, seems great though i'm sure it isn't gonna make the value went beyond so high.
though actually we're all here just making some speculation, the end result will be coming once the merge finished, even though there's definitely some kind of influence that gonna occurs caused by this. I'm sure it isn't gonna make ETH reach ATH.

As we know that the ETH price was relying now upon the BTC price, if there is BTC ATH, of course, there is also a new ATH of ETH.

The price of ETH is now at $1600, which means it's down about 65% from the ATH price it hit 8 months ago. Although the decline in the price of
ETH is quite deep, we don't need to worry, because ETH will definitely return to the price of ATH. The problem is that the price of ETH is greatly
affected by BTC price movements, so anyway if we want to see ETH recover, then have to wait for BTC to recover first. Therefore we really have
to be patient waiting for the ETH price to recover, because no one ever knows when the price of ETH recovers. But we can take advantage of
the current situation to collect ETH, because ETH has proven to be very good for long-term investments. Even now, ETH is still the best altcoin,
and no other altcoins have been able to beat ETH yet, so investing in ETH will be very profitable. So don't ever hesitate to buy ETH at a low price

A pump will definitely happen that is for sure, but I am not so sure that we are going to see a new ATH for ethereum at that time.

Ethereum will have to triple its current price just to barely go above its previous ATH and I am not confident something like that can happen so suddenly, still it is a good moment to buy some ethereum so you can take advantage of that pump, but I will try to avoid having such high hopes for the price of ethereum as I do not believe such an increase on its price is even possible.

that doesn't seem to be a real thing this year. It's very far from the new ATH. if you are betting in the merged announcement and you have made a mistake. Ethereum will not reach the new ATH if bitcoin didn't. The point is when you are seeing a big announcement was coming to the ethereum and it will not give huge impact like make ethereum to reach another ath again.bitcoin must have done another halving to reach another ath.
we are not going to see the new ath again. you must also learn from the yearly pattern of crypto and how ethereum is very correlated with bitcoin at this moment.

IMO, Ethereum is a great cryptocurrency and as such, it will have huge supporters with the merge. The community of users will make Ethereum to rise ATH - with many utilities, dapps, etc. However, according to Vitalik Buterin, the Merge does not have value yet (https://en.cryptonomist.ch/2022/07/28/according-vitalik-buterin-merge-have-value-yet/). According to Vitalik, the price effects will certainly be there, but until 6-8 months after launch. I think the Ethereum team will ensure that Ethereum maintains its quality and trust which the coin have gained over the years and possibly grow to ATH.

Yes, you will see a new ATH, but you will need to learn how to join and wait for it to happen. I strongly believe this will happen between now and 2024. Most of the times when coins release something big or do a merge, you always see big pump in the days before the event also. After a while, the effect fades away and the price drops to a lower level, but still higher than before.

It's always the news that buys out and that's common in the market because that's when the pump really starts. And when it's done, we'll see the drop starts to come eventually.

Well, it still follows bitcoins move. So the likely of seeing the price of ETH goes on another ATH really depends on the market's behaviour and as well as bitcoins.

Many people believe that eth will continue to be a successful project, and I have no doubt about that. But no one knows what will happen to it after it becomes unprofitable for miners to mine it. History tells us, that all POS coins lose their value like any other coin, but here it is profitable only for big holders. So maybe this ATH was the last one.

Agree. I am not sure if there will be a new ATH for ETH after this merge, but there will be a strong Fomo wave pulling ETH up and we will wait and see if ETH can break the old ATH. Personally, I also feel worried for the future of ETH after it becomes POS, I feel sorry that ETH has switched to POS completely and is no longer a decentralized altcoin. Once decentralization is lost, ETH will suffer the same fate as the rest of altcoins, which are no longer so special.

Nobody knows when the market will take bullish turn but if it's going to happen then we might see a new ath not only in eth even in many altcoins nevertheless I think it may take time to recover crypto currency market and we can't expect another ath of eth without a massive bullish market conditions but according to my estimate Ethereum is very capable crypto currency to make another ath.

One economist once said a brilliant thing: "If the Fed prints money, then the markets go up, if the Fed raises the refinancing rate, then the markets go down."
I think this is a temporary false growth, and then there will be a big haircut of the longists.

Only those who sell their ETH at cheap prices lose their money, many holders are still holding it strong...
Moreover, it was not the FUD stops the market to grow, FED and the conflict between Russia and Ukraine gives some influence, plus the economic crisis. ATH for ETH will certainly come but that only happens when the market is in bullish again. Think about 3-4 years from when halving arrives. Ohh, patience is really important.

I have to agree with you. In terms of price, it is already baked in. We are all waiting for the ETH pump on merge day. The hype surrounding Ethereum 2.0 is expected to surge back to new all-time highs, according to a leading analyst! Could it be that those staked coins will dump right away after spending years stuck on the market? I wonder if Bitcoin would be pumped as well?

it is possible that the target of $10k to achieve ATH on Ethereum can be achieved but it is also possible that it will fail to reach the targeted ATH of $10k.
because the upcoming crypto cycle and the price of bitcoin also greatly affect price movements in other crypto assets, Ethereum is no exception.
if the bitcoin price decreases in the future, the market will experience a price decline and it will definitely make investors and traders hesitate to buy Ethereum, it will be very difficult for Ethereum to reach the ATH that has been targeted.

The gas fee attached to Ethereum based transactions is too much and many people I know are beginning to run away from it. Ethereum is popular because it network can also foster crypto-currency transactions and if the fees becomes too much of a problem people may be forced to jettison it. I have a strong feeling in know distance time Ethereum my not be as popular as it is.
