^  Is having the score line ending at 2 - 1 between BVB and Atletico Madrid in the realms of possibility for you?  No research, just intuition from watching following football all these years.  And that's what popped up right away in my mind at first glance.  Lolol.  But then again this is the CL.  Weird things happen...  I'm thinking Man City is going all out and winning the match up by a couple of goals vs Real Madrid.  Maybe 3 - 1?  :/

But yeah, I think all the home clubs are prolly winning.  That means City, Barca, Bayern all go to the next round.  BVB vs Atletico possibly go to penalty kick off.

Sorry for this once again - but it seems so stupid to me that I still don't believe it works that way.

If I go with 1-0 for Borussia on Superbru, the game will go into overtime and it will still have to be 1-0 at the end of it for my prediction to be correct, right? PSG scores, it's 1-1, no points for me?
If I pick 2-0 and the game ends 2-0, there's no overtime and I win, easy peasy.

But what if I pick 2-0, the game ends as 1-0, it goes into overtime and Borussia scores again? My 2-0 is the correct prediction or not? I assume it is.

This basically means that taking Borussia to win with 1 goal difference statistically makes no sense.

Correct, Superbru has always been including Extra Time. I remember this for World Cup, Euro, Even AFCON was the same, hence IIRC for AFCON it was very risky to go for 1-0 or 0-0 or 1-1 and yet some people still did it, and won max points.

I never go below 2-0 or 2-1 in these games, it seems impossible to go for 120 minutes without scoring minimum 2 goals.

I am not seeing match day 10,did we include in match day 9 also the return leg of the quarter finals?I know that there some changes going on in the thread but most likely maybe I overlooked them and thought that every match day would be like in the Champions League official format,I am only asking about Pot B as I don't see any match day 10,is that we included the bonus points in the match day 9,still I only had 10 stakes which I used them all and I thought to have another ten stakes for this upcoming round of return games in the Champions League?Whatever the case I don't care much as I hope to be in the top 10 in Pot A when the tournament ends and I would be happy with that prize which is still a good one even the 10th place.

Dortmund - Atletico. Going with BTTS and over 2.5 goals here. Atletico a bit ruined their situation by conceding late goal in 1st leg because 2:0 would be quite comfortable lead.
Have no chances to go up significantly in both pools, I stuck somewhere in the middle there

- Bonus outcomes for Semifinal 2nd legs

Yes, Superbru's result is based on score After Extra Time, if there is any. Penalty shootouts don't factor in.

In summary, I overlooked that you need many more matchday than Superbru has habitualised us to make, with this different format. I considered and even tested doing multiple submissions, but it proved to be too complex for the current form and I thought, not worth confusing everyone for a few more rounds. So yes, it sucks you can't place bets on the final... but to make up for it, there will be outsized odds for those willing to stake points on the Final outcome this early.

Promise next season (if I'm hosting) it'll be much smoother and hopefully, more challenging. But not so much that it'll put people off haha.

Trust me, you won't miss much, final will be super boring.

Yes, i think like you, but when you see the highlights of the game, you can see also Atletico was a disaster in that last 10/15 minutes and Dortmund can also reach a tie if not was for some poor luck for them, one or two hits to the woodwork.

I expect two very shaking games for today.

I don't agree with that either, it's Real Madrid we are talking about here, and for all we know they've defy even greater odds, so whatever Man City might have in store playing at the Etihad or not doesn't warrant Real Madrid being such a heavy underdog. A Real Madrid side that is currently 15 matches unbeaten in all competitions is definitely worth a ride here in my candid.

Real Madrid ML + Atletico Madrid ML @ 14.4 Odds is a steal imo.

Easy to back Real Madrid because they are the most decorated team when it comes to champions league football, but unfortunately in a competition that has City interested in the prize...am sorry I know Halaad isn't at his best but the team work that goes into this team is unmatched by any other and I expect some smooth sailing football this time around for the Citizens no doubt about that #The_Sky_is_Blue_Citizens

As of the BVB and Athletico game, let's just say provided Dortmund don't score the first goal, this should see Athletico through but should BVB score early the outcome could be different after what I saw in the first leg of the 2nd half showed some potential that BVB can fight back.

Absolutely,I don't see Atletico deserving it since the 33th minute of the first leg.There will most likely not be any additional time for this game and the interesting game to watch is Barcelona,the result is 1-1 and although Barcelona scored first,Paris dominated the game completely,the red card to Barcelona has given Paris the real chance to pass through they just need to be very cool headed.It is this game I am going to watch the second half although in the pool I have a 2-1 win for Barcelona as I thought since they won away they should be able to win at home,yet the red card has completely changed things around here and any team can go through now.

Still had good moments, just never fun to watch a team like Barca suddenly change play so soon. Yamal out and some guy I never heard of in (sorry not a big La Liga guy), and it was just unfun.

Poor quality game at half time with 2 goals but little else, so switched to BVB in search of meaning to life during mid-week football. Good thing I did too, that game went to hell judging by the scoreline.

It was a bad game overall. Im not enjoying it as much as the 1st leg, it could have been so much better if it wasnt because of the red card. The moment that PSG scored their 2nd goal, I knew that it was over from that moment. Barcelona completely had no control on that midfield with only 10 players

Xavi made progress with first quarterfinal in a long time, but sacrificed now for PSG to progress.

Atletico Madrid has never been demolished so effortlessly in a long time. Simeone specialises in low block defence, and all they needed to do yesterday was sit back, try not to concede, and move on to the next round, but that's not what I saw. I saw a different Atletico Madrid yesterday, caught on so many high line defences and letting Dontmund do the damage on the wings.
