Glad your issues are solved BABY, I'm waiting a little before sending in my genius picks. Still can't stand how KT managed to pick the best BTTS win last round.

I saw a lot of over 3.5 goals options this time which is different from the over 2.5 goals I have seen before. Nevertheless I continued with my choice of dividing the 6 stakes 1 each for favorite choices of over 2.5 and over 3.5 goals which I hope to avoid the next available penalty also for this match day 4 which can help a bit. The games looks like they will produce goals but surprise results happen usually in such cases.

Yeah, and even in the cases where I put 2.5, the lines were actually closer at 3 (but we don't do pushes in this format so I had to pick one side). It's a trap I tell ya.

I've already placed my picks. Maybe if I have some time tomorrow, I'll study the matches a bit more and perhaps even change some scores. But I'm pretty satisfied with my stake selections this round. Hopefully, all three of them come through.

I understand buwaytress, because I’m haunted by the fact that I only used one stake for that pick, instead of three. Missed opportunities are remembered.
If I recall correctly, this time I went with all the standard picks (2-1, haha), but I did bet on Aston Villa (I hope I’m not misremembering - I’m pretty sure that’s what I wanted to do). And I must point out that the odds don’t reflect the hype surrounding Barcelona - they should be at least 20! At the end of the day, Aston Villa are a random team from the Premier League, not a giant from League 1.

As tempting as maybe do not forget that you get a penalty if you get them all wrong and this cannot do any good to any of us being hit by a penalty. I know the penalty is small compared to how it was the previous season yet if we keep accumulating penalties it can hurt our campaign pretty badly overall for the pool. I personally am experimenting with lowest odds with all stakes divided 1 to each game with the lowest odd in an attempt to avoid penalties during this season.

AEK Athens to beat Real Madrid and BTTS is only 12x? Have bookies lost their minds to super greedy instincts? Real to win is always the outcome, for Athens to score 2 goals minimum is already 12x in itself IMO,,, but to expect Real only to score 1 as for every goal they score AEK must score more this is at least 20x odds

Completely agree with you, upsets are criminally underrated. Moreover, Real’s next La Liga match is against Valencia, so there is no reason to believe they will be conserving their energy. I also don’t like how they’ve slashed the odds for exact scores, I remember a few years ago you could find odds of 300 or even 500+ for a super exotic scoreline, but now something like 5-3 is priced at just 50 - lol, what’s even the point of betting on that?

Rubbish, and we've talked about it at length. Back when I started my odds thread on Bitcoinrush you would easily get 20/1 for normal scorelines below 3:3 and then yes, each specific score beyond that would go on to the hundreds to one. The most you get now? "Any other score" for a measly 50/1.

If you asked AEK to play host to Real 20 times, they would maybe win once at 1-0. And this is a strong, strong squad.

Yep, I liked playing them before. Previously the odds on an upset basically mirrored the favorite, so 1.10 was mirrored by 8.50 or somewhere close and 1.05 was countered by 18. Nowadays 1.03 is countered by 10, which is truly laughable.

I guess the bookies got burned and are pushing users towards the favorites anyway. I think my playstyle of only playing value still has an edge long-term but I haven't tested it recently.

I expected them to score goals in this match, but Galatasaray was much better this time at Rams Park.
Luckily I didnt select over goals in this match and I was very close in doing it, but I made a change in last minute.

Can someone explain me what Villarreal is doing in CL? It's not first time when they qualify to it in recent years, but they're always looking like beaten children. On paper they're not that bad, but on the pitch they're looking worse than teams from small leagues like Slovan or Sabah.
Probably PSG will show some mercy and will rest main players in 2nd half. If they would play full power whole game, result could reach double digits.

I'm quite the genius, and apparently I'm too good for anyone else in the pool, I really don't know how a lot people hit those team to win and both team to score bet, but I guess I'm very much done with that option, Galatasaray that have concede 9 goals in 3 CL matches this suddenly learnt out to keep a cleansheet against the team that scored 7 goals in the first 3 games as well, and Inter Milan who were handed their asses in Serie A too over the weekend kept it all perfect vs Feyenoord, hell na, as for Villarreal I'd rather not say anything and keep it moving... If there is any goal in the Porto game tomorrow, then it's season over for me!

Wow barely missed the penalty even in the fourth match day and thanks to Paris for this otherwise I would have gotten my first penalty of the season. Even in this fourth match day going with the favorites paid off and the bookies did deceive us on goals this match day because very few goals compared to expected were scored. I am happy so far with my performance in the pool although is way to early to be having joy, I can end up last here like last season when forgot two put picks for three consecutive match days.

I had a very nice bet slip yesterday, Inter to win, Bayern Munchen to win, Sporting to win and Roma to win which had an odd of almost near 30 in total and the only team who ruined it for me was Roma. Absolutely very unstable team not only in Champions League but also in the Serie A they are not a coherent team. They had the advantage and lost it against a very much struggling team like Manchester United which Como destroyed them in match day 3, I expected Roma to win also but no they risk qualification now I think.

This is because BTTS doesn't work in the most obvious games this round. I’m currently sitting at 5 misses out of 6, and I’ll likely end up with a penalty (and it looks like many other participants are in the same boat). When I was choosing the outcomes, I also thought that I didn’t like the outcome + BTTS, but it seemed to me that the probability of losing 6 picks at once was small, but now I see that it’s not  By the way, it’s a pity you can’t look at your own picks in the "Questions" section right now, I don’t remember what I chose as my 6th option.

I don't know what's actually happening, you should be able to see all your picks if you made them, I can see a lot of users with just 5 stake points used, yourself, swogerino, Saint-loup, which means it's either you all didn't enter their last one or it shows up from some events and not for others, and then there is Igebotz who's somehow managed to use all 8 stake points (2 were saved as previous rounds)

Finally a very good round, at least the first half of it. I did spend all of my stakes already though - so it might be a bit skewed at the moment.
Still - a big lead ahead of 2nd placed paco92x and I hope to maintain it after today's games as well.
