It looks like bookies are underestimating Union Berlin quite a lot indeed. Because Union Berlin are maintaining an impressive form in the Bundesliga these days. They have climbed to the second spot in the standings again by a series of victories. They even won against Leipzig away the last time which would improve their morale even more. Ajax didn't have a good form for a long time on the other hand. They got so many draws that caused them to get away from the leader in the Eredivisie. Maybe they have been winning for three match weeks but those were all against much smaller teams.

I think it would be a mistake to overlook Union Berlin's possibility of even winning this match. I will go for their win @4.00 truthfully and see what happens. 

That is not only underestimating Union Berlin, but that is basically overrating Ajax as well. I understand that Ajax used to be a great team, had amazing players, even went to champions league semi-finals one year if I am not wrong, not too long ago, so they still have some good base and they were the dominant power in eredevise as well.

These are all fine and understandable but anyone who looks at them this season could see that they are not nearly as good this season and they should definitely be considered as a not so great team anymore. true, it's totally different, but i noticed that Barcelona's defense is getting stronger, they did really good in La Liga to not concede a lot of goals, this could cause Man Utd a lot of difficulties to break through them, but i'm favoring Man Utd to qualify for the next round, they caused troubles to Arsenal and Man City in the Premier League with counter attacks, and if Barca hold position as they used to, Rashford and other players can slip thorough the defense of Barce and out run them.

It is true that Arsenal will likely not focus on the Europa League considering their points gain in the regular league is getting easier to be shifted by some of their rival teams and they certainly don't want to lose their current regular league title, having last won in the 2003/2004 season.

Union Berlin is newcomer to this competition even if i am not mistaken their first experience playing at european competitions is from Conference League and it happend on season 2021 at that time Union Berlin were failed on group stage because only finish at 3rd position on standing group

You also have to see, when Real Madrid was slaughtered by Barcelona in the Supercopa de Espana cup. it shows that Barcelona underwent a lot of changes, their game is more structured. Xavi has learned a lot from his team's defeat in the Champions League, and it has been proven that Barcelona's performance has improved dramatically. I remember very well the confrontation between Barcelona and Inter, as the bookmakers considered Barcelona to be the undisputed favorite. I immediately said that this is nonsense and I made my bets on Inter in the Champions League pool.
