The game was as thrilling and tense as a Champions League final. To make the game more interesting, many people wished it had been played in a later round rather than now. I wasn't underrating any of the teams in the game, but I never had complete faith in Manchester United to make it difficult for Barcelona to get a draw or a win.

I was absolutely devasted that i missed the match after seeing the full-time results. I thought it was going to be a late kick-off

I was completely blown away by Manchester United's performance today; they far exceeded my expectations. They will now be considered one of the favorites to win the Premier League title.

But they have been performing well in the recent times (after the new year began) except for a few matches like Arsenal's but still you could see that there was an effort. I think Next season, Manchester United will be one of the touch teams to beat.

Barcelona is playing better in La Liga and vs Spanish teams than in other competitions.
I won't be surprised if they were sacked from Europa League in the second leg, especially that ManU playing home and doing good from a while.

Yes, Barcelona only played well in La Liga matches. They are still difficult to get good results in international matches like in Europa League or UCL.
In this match against Man United, Barcelona can't play effectively. They waste an opportunity to win at home, Man United can steal a point because of the draw result. It will be a difficult match for Barcelona to play at Ol Trafford in the second Leg. Man United looks to be the favorite team to win in the second Leg since they will play at home. So, it is true that Barcelona may fail to reach the next round.

I would say United obtain a great result today against Barcelona and more than this they were able to control the ball more than I believed they could do. I also don't see Barcelona qualify further as United is really a strong team on Old Trafford and the club really needs another European trophy ...but so does Barcelona who won't go down without a fight.

Meanwhile , Juventus are struggling and they will draw against Nantes who are having the qualify basically in their hands next game.

A nice game between Barcelona and Manchester United which will end in a draw if no strange things happen. we have seen no less than 4 goals in the 2nd half. Did this duel deserve a winner? Actually both, so in that respect 2-2 is a fair result. But both teams will be happy with the draw, especially Barcelona because the rule that away goals counts double no longer applies. Barcelona and United have both been ahead once in this match. I think United are light favorites to go through if it stays 2-2.
Ajax - Union Berlin is a very disappointing ame so far with 0-0

I think Barcelona are unhappy anyway as a victory at Old Trafford is much less likely than today's chance. In general, after the first half, I was sure that United would not lose and most likely win, but in the second half the game became completely chaotic and both teams had chances. The score could have been 4-3 or 3-4 in either direction. But now United is a clear favorite in this pair, I will be happy to look at the quotes of the bookmakers which initially considered Barcelona to be the favorite.

Both teams should be really unhappy because they had a lot of chances to win the match and get a good start in the rematch. I think Barcelona was really unlucky in the end of the match the ball just wouldnt go in . Didnt expect such a good match but probobly the best football match i saw this year.

I didn't expect anything more than a draw from that match. The two teams are in very good form and they displayed very good performance but it was more of a big loss to Barcelona being the host team cuz I know how tough it will be in Old Trafford.
It's a bit suppressing that Eric Ten Hag made just one substitution in the game and was enough to keep the match in a draw state but Xavi made 5 changes but yet couldn't secure a win at camp Nou. Ten Hag is doing a great job.

It surely was a good game between Barcelona and Manchester United. I didn’t think the game would bring a lot of goals but it did. The goals were fast paced as each side seemed hungry for the win.
Manchester United did play a good game despite playing away from home and they successfully held Barcelona to a draw. I wonder how the second leg would go. I am inclined to say, with the performance of Ten Hags boys, I am somewhat confident that they might just win the second leg of the game.
It would have been nice if Manchester United had won, but I guess a draw is better than a loss.

Rasford was not idle in barcelona tonight, he is truly one of the most fit forwards of recent times. He finishes well from difficult angles. Running reactions came to this level when added to a very fast good finisher. In the second goal, belonging to Rasford. He put his opponent to sleep, turned inside, threw it in such a place that any kind of goal would be. It was a good match, barcelona fought well, both teams were good, balanced. I was expecting a lot of goals and the response was like that.

It was really a bad game shown by Sporting in their own home game, they even almost lost this match. At first I thought that they would win by a small score, but my guess was even wrong. Sporting had everything, from lots of attempted shots to 73% possession. But all of that has not succeeded in making them win. If there is no goal from Sebastian Coates in the final minutes of this match, they even have to lose this match. How lucky I was to place a +1.5 handicap bet on Midtjylland, LOL.

Juventus vs Nantes and after being an eliminated by champion league now Juventus will fight to gets one placed on round of 16 europa league against tough team Nantes and i think Nantes is not weak team and probably will hard to beated because they had impressive records on Ligue 1 that Nantes passed 10 matches with only lose once i think as underdog status Juventus shouldn't underestimate them

But Juventus also in the good shape because they got 3 winnings streak in all competitions without conceded goals so this is showed Juventus can bounce back after poor performance period and i think they can win the match but my predictions is Juventus will win with slim scores

Their match was actually quite good and the domination was well deserved especially for some very good chances in the first half. it's just that it's a shame that Ludovic Blas' goal in 15 minutes of the second half broke their victory in this first leg.

Given that Barcelona consistently defeats Manchester United at Camp Nou, I didn't think the game between those two teams would end in a draw. I bet on Barcelona to win against Manchester United but unlucky me that I lost my bet on it.

Xavi Hernandez and Erik ten hag are different Managers with distinctive style of game, they have high quality players in their squad. However, I was expecting a take home for barça after levelling the scoresheet after a surprised comeback from the visitors. With the result in Cam Nou, I am beginning to have cold feet that Barca will witness the next round of the Europa league.

Barcelona is always performing better in local competition. The performance from manchester united is really impressive even playing in camp nou. This is why EPL is the toughest competition compared with la liga. La liga is always dominated by barcelona and real madrid unlike EPL which all of the teams are almost having same chance to win the trophy.The mentality owned by MU is so good against barcelona. Im so glad to see that MU was able even giving pressure to the barcelona. That being said if barcelona can also be beaten by better team in EPL like manchester city easily.
What a good day for united. The next game will be on old trafford. Low ball possession didn't mean MU was losing. Otherwise, MU can even comeback stronger through its counterattack. rashford is always helping MU to get a solution from how difficult to make goals.

Clearly, a typical WTF situation!
The referee had to go over to the VAR and took some real look at the situation but still didn't give the penalty and I still don't understand up to this moment how that decision came out. I think he was suggesting a pushing and I don't see any serious pushing going on except for a contest for the ball as its normal for crossed balls within the box, a header and a good save. Yeah, Clearly a good save because, it was on target and that little handling of the ball sent it off the cross bar. Juventus ought to have been given that but, i think the referee just didn't wat to give a penalty with just minutes to the final whistle and that's just wrong.
Juventus was dominant all through the game and controlled the game for most of it, Chiesa had 2  balls to the wood work with several other attempts and the referee should have rewarded there effort to seal the game in a win.

I dont know how this isnt a penalty. Wtf is wrong with the refs today,how can you not give a penalty for this,its just dissapointing. Juventus should have won the match with this penalty but the refs made things for Nantes a lot easier. Juventus now needs to win in france

Ajax has dominated the ball possessions but what a surprise from ajax. 0 shots on goal. The attacking line of ajax looks like played so passively. This is a very bad result for ajax. The next game gonna be another opportunity for union berlin. Union berlin was making some golden moments but it was not lucky enough.

The goal that Rashford scored in this match was really very good. He took a shot which was very difficult because it was an angle that was actually not profitable but it could be converted into a goal.
On the other hand for the second goal he also made a big contribution even though it was indeed a suicide goal but still this was thanks to his contribution in making the move.
Now it will be very interesting what will be done in the second leg because of course being at Old Trafford will obviously be a little different and profitable for Manchester United.

Talking about the match I agree because the two teams are really balanced and don't want to let one of them win.
I appreciate the game that Manchester United actually did because even though they played at Camp Nou they didn't try to defend, instead they made good domination there.
With this condition, Leg 2 will be even more exciting, especially with the current condition of the two clubs, it's clear they want a ticket to qualify for the next round.

It was an exciting game in which both teams could have easily got away with three points. Barcelona game became intensive when the substituted players came on. Manchester United on the other hand had Numerous clear cut chances to kill off the game. Both Sancho and Werghost should have finished their chances. The two goalkeepers were proving their worths as one of the best in the position. Manchester United will be happier side because even with home advantage they would be welcoming some of there players that could have started. With Martinez, Sabitzer and Anthony getting back united could be handed a boost

United's performance is above my expectation. Rashford has been doing so well in the match against barcelona. MU will get so many advantaves caused by barcelona can't use its main players gavei and pedri to play in the second leg of europa league. The yellow card that has already acquired by gavi has been forcing him to be absent on the second leg against MU in old trafford. This gonna be a disaster for barcelona. Will barcelona be eliminated again like when barcelona has eliminated by frankfurt last season?
This will be showing how weak barcelona is in the higher competition than domestic league.
