To be honest, I'm quite upset with the outcome of this match even though a draw doesn't affect my bet to still be able to make money betting the handicap for Rome's lead. However, what disappointed me was that the decision of the referee Antony Taylor was very controversial, we also often see this British referee also often make judgment errors like in EPL matches and many English clubs are also victims. Roma should have received a penalty in the 80th minute, but Antony Taylor was reluctant to see VAR to confirm the Sevilla player's handball.

Roma became unlucky when they prepared to force play with normal time. several key players had to be substituted and when they faced coercion to shootouts, Roma lost their shooter.

That's an interesting allegation against the referee, but I have heard that the talks between the referee on the pitch and the VARs are recorded. If the VAR sees a hand ball, the referee would have to be 100% sure about his decision and actively refuse to check it on the monitor. I don't think that happened.

You could also argue that there was a foul before Dybala scored the goal. In the midfield the Sevilla player was held back for a moment by a Roma player with his hands. I wouldn't say it is a foul and the goal was correct, I just wanted to point out that the referee could have made a decision against Roma and he didn't.

This game wasn't really one of those cases where the referee decided who is going to win. There will always be some decisions that the fans argue about, but there have been games that were much worse. In this game I think the referee was ok. They all went all out all the time during the game. It wasn't simple for the referee and yet he kept the control over the game.

The match was very well played and both teams were very active due to which there was no goal gap between them even after a long period of play.  Which eventually led to a penalty shootout but Roma lost the final match due to the weakness and inattention of Roma's goalkeeper during the penalty shootout. This is Roma's failure.  But Sevilla were not a weak side as we can say they won on penalties by virtue of luck.  Sevilla have also beaten Roma several times in their previous matches.  So I think the result of the match is fair

It is not only about the missing penalty for Roma but also about referee decisions in the first half. He gave Roma some yellow cards with unclear reasons, the yellow card for Pellegrini is correct but how about a same for Sevilla and Campos should be given a yellow card because he tried to get a penalty. Then the yellow card for Mancini when a Sevilla player pulled his skirt and torn it, weird. Another card for Cristante for stupid reason only the referee knows but I am not sure it happened in the first half or the second half.

Those cards caused a lot of issues for Roma players and they had to play how to avoid a second yellow card means a red card. I agree with you that most likely this match will have to be decided on penalties. They both have a chance for that, AS Roma and Sevilla will not let their opponents find the net easily, and I think both clubs will make defense their main focus. If this prediction is correct, then mentality and luck will determine who will become the champion.

Apart from the drama of the referee who led the game, in my opinion Sevilla really deserved to win the final and the Europa League title this season after playing with high intensity.

Roma are really good at defending, but have difficulty building attacks because Sevilla has put strong pressure since Roma have won 1 goal. I will speak a little out of the context of the Europa League, yes I really regret it when Sevilla in the domestic league cannot be like in the Europa League.
