You made a right choice by choosing Exodus. I was using trust wallet until 2021 that I switched to Safepal and I haven't had any issue using it. All you need to do to stay safe in whichever wallet you choose is to ensure you don't connect your wallet to dubious dapps and also stay safe with your Mnemonics.

On the other hand, using several wallets to store your altcoins depends on you and what you will be doing with your altcoins.

Trustwallet is by far the best

Right, I have also used trustwallets for more than 2 years and have never been problematic, especially with seeds so that they can be restored at any time, besides with trustwallets, almost all assets can be saved in 1 wallet so that it does not require other wallets.
You are missing something mate.

Trust wallet doesn't supports all altcoins, the major wallet I use to store my altcoins is Trust wallet but there are other altcoins that I want in my crypto portfolio but you can't add these altcoins into Trust wallet.

They have separate block chain ( Not ERC20 Tokens ) for example, Mina Protocol, Kaspa, PoKT network and Aleph Zero, I was forced to use other wallets to store these altcoins.

Yes you are right Software Wallet is the best place to store your Funds you can try out Trust Wallet, Safepal or token pocket all of them had a good interface but the issue with these Software wallet your wallet funds can be drained if you connected your wallet to xyz site to get the Extra Layer of Security we can purchase a Hardware wallet it is the safest way right now to store our Funds
If we deposit our money in hardware wallet then it is very safe for us. But we keep our money in many wallets I don't think they are safe but I thought I will try to keep my money in hardware wallet.  If we can, we will never worry about losing money.

Right. One of the most excellent, flexible, and profitable wallets is Trust Wallet. So, it's safe to say that overall, Trust Wallet's strengths far outweigh its drawbacks. In general, Trust Wallet is very suitable for use, especially for people who always trade and store more than one type of crypto asset. Not many crypto wallets support more than one type of cryptocurrency like Trust Wallet.
It's depends on how your brain. If you have knowledge to setting chain in manually, all wallet can be support all of the coin, like as example matamask, that wallet support anything of token, of course that was able in special chain only but if you understand how to set bnb chain, trx chain, cardano and etc, you can make metamask wallet same as trust wallet. I mean, metamsk is one of old wallet while trust wallet just only a couple year used, don't waste the time to change ii if the old have same function.

Both Metamask and Trust Wallet have their own advantages and disadvantages. It depends on the choice of which wallet we use. But for me, I prefer Trust Wallet because besides being able to be installed on Android and iOS devices, Trust Wallet can also be used to trade, store, and see coin prices.

to store altcoins I use Trust Wallet, I use it because it's easy to control and I've linked it to my cellphone, besides being easy to make transactions, Trust wallet is also very easy to understand
Indeed Trust Wallet is one of the easiest wallets to use to store crypto currency. Moreover, Trust Wallet supports a variety of crypto assets to be stored. In addition, With Trust you can buy, send, receive and deposit Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies.
Yes, that's right, a trust wallet is a medium that makes it easy for every user to transact, whether it's buying, sending, receiving, and depositing Bitcoin or other crypto currencies. Thus, I think many of us are using Trus wallet now.
Apart from being able to buy, send and store bitcoins and other altcoins, Trust Wallet also offers users high functionality and a good level of security. Even as time goes by Trust Wallet has developed into a trusted crypto wallet application with more users around the world.

at first, I used to be a user of Atomic Wallet. I have been using it for quite a while, and the features that are presented are also not much different from Trust Wallet.
but now I choose to use a safepal wallet. nothing different from other wallets. it's just that, with the hardware, we can manage to validate the asset transactions that we have.

perhaps, Trust Wallet users also need to know some information. as shared by CryptopreneurBrainboss Alert to Trust Wallet users: There's an ongoing address spam, be more cautious.
I think whatever wallet we use if we as users are not careful and tend to be careless (user errors). we could have been scammed or hacked. be more careful when we are going to make a transaction or just connect a wallet to a device or site.

Throughout the years I have just been holding bitcoin and ethereum in a non-custodial wallet but now I have decided to diversify my portfolio.
There are a lot of potential altcoins out there and I have picked up a few. Storing altcoins on an exchange id obviously not the right thing to do.
While I know that hardware wallet would be the best place to store altcoins I want to know other options as well.

Thinking about long term perspective.

1. For now, I have been thinking to store them on a non-custodial wallet but then again which wallet should it be ? My choice would be Exodus but let me know which one is best.
2. Would it better to store different altcoins in different wallets or decrease the hassle of maintaining different wallets and settle down with just one with all the coins.

Metamask and Trustwallet of course is a wallet that has been tested because it has received a certificate from many companies, although we are safe and always follow developments, sometimes the wrong behavior or underestimating the security system can make our wallet hit, small things for example not lock out when finished using metamask.
