I think we all agree to that, he just face Isaac Cruz and then Rolly Romero in his last 2 fights and not all of us are familiar with that name. Isaac Cruz was underrated, after he fought Tank, his name went up and he's become top 10 on Lightweight division. I think Isaac Cruz is the toughest boxer that Tank has been faced, he didn't dare to challenge Haney or just fight with Garcia. Shakur Stevenson is really a best boxer at his current weight division, similar like Inoue who can beat everyone. Lomachenko need to focus in this fight first before fight with Haney, it's his biggest challenge since he doesn't have any belt and trying to become undisputed champion.

I'm not here to underestimate this Jamaine Ortiz but I don't think he have the right tools in his belt to defeat Loma and his technicalities, the latter's IQ in the ring is much higher than Ortiz too plus this challenger is not knockout specialist which again gives Loma the higher hand. Almost certain to say that this will be just a tune-up fight before Loma faces Haney.

I'm sure this time we will see a very healthy and the same Loma that beat Commey, not much has changed when he fought Commey he is still fast and strong and the ring generalship is awesome.

Just like what Usyk did, it was a tough fight against Joshua, but he had to win the last 3 rounds in that fight. After round 9, we thought that Joshua has the mentality and the momentum to steal the win, but Usyk did deeper and make a huge comeback in that fight.

So maybe Loma will also be inspired by his countryman and so will be extra motivated not to lose to a relatively unknown boxer in Ortiz?

I like the positive attitude of Ortiz though, he said that he will shock the world so we will see that. He also said that he is going to shock the world and silence his critics. This is boxing and we all know that upset do happen. Loma was upset before by Teo but then again their is this argument that he is not that healthy entering the fight.

Nope I don't think it would make him nervous, that's problem is caused not from him. Actually he should feel nervous when he lose against Lopez, that's make him lose 3 belts just for one fight. But Lomachenko already fight 2 times before this fight and he won, so I don't think it will have a problem in this fight too.

We can only speculate, but if we will look at it, he supposed to fight Kambosos next, but it was cancelled because of the war and he chooses to stay in his country.

So maybe he really did take the uniform and try to defend his native country, similar to Usyk. Perhaps he is still thinking of the war and his family back then that could impact him negatively or make it as a motivation to win against Ortiz.

Loma though is not known to hype his fight in the past, specially not now with those pictures of him in military uniform. It is what he does when he go back in his country and just like a regular able body, regardless if you are a boxer or regular farmer, he has to take up arms and defend Ukraine.
