I'm having a second thought at first on whom to bet for because for me this fight is a bit complicated to predict but with Bivol having a rematch with Canelo after this one, I will be backing the Russian as I also want him to fight Canelo next and see it that win last May was a fluke or not.
Same here im rooting for Bivol to win because I'd like to see him again to have a rematch with Canelo (if ever it will be push through). However it is hard to predict whose gonna win in this fight because Ramirez is also a beast. They're actually a perfect match since both are undefeated. Its a challenge for Bvol because Ramirez is taller than him and has more experience. So lets see if his hands speed will work as his advantage. Nevertheless this is a great fight to look forward.

A good challenge and an exciting event that we will see, Bivol have that favorite after beating Alvarez, but now he's facing a new challenger

who can match up with him both with speed and strong punches, we will him now adjusting since the height and reach edge is in Ramirez favor

and the man is also undefeated, which means that he also has good experience facing any type of fighter. We will see what adjustment

and what new fighting style for both sides.

What a nice fight, it's rare to see both fighters with 0 losses fighting together in a championship bout. This is hard to predict and with the venue of their fight, obviously, it's huge money involved here. With the strategy of Bivol to beat his opponent, you won't really imagine how he will gonna lost in this fight, only if Ramirez comes with his own surprising technique as well if he wants to beat him. This fight will likely end in a decision since both figthers will be so careful keeping their clean records.

And we say that all of Ramirez win can be compare to Canelo. So someone's 0 will be taken, and I will predict that Ramirez might suffer his first lost against the Russian. Besides, the odds will be on Bivol's favor here, just saying how sport bookies value him in this fight.

Boxing record:
Dmitry Bivol 20-0-11 KOs
Zurdo Ramirez 44-0-30 KOs
If we base on their records - we can see more odds on the side of Ramirez than Bivol. Experience is a big advantage in a sport like this but a competitive boxer doesn't let himself down because he sees that his opponent is bigger and has a long experience compared to him, he does more than expected. But as a bettor, I'm still preferred putting my bet on the one I see has more advantage and close to a knockdown which is Ramirez.

That's right, Zurdo has more than doubled Bivol's pro experience. But I give Bivol the edge when it comes to the high level of opponents. Bivol already fought for the WBA interim belt during his 7th fight and became its regular champion in his 12th fight. That's why I cannot hate but appreciate these former Soviet professional boxers as they do not cherry-pick opponents and always aimed for glory. Lomachenko became champion in his 3rd fight, Usyk in his 10th fight, and Beterbiev and Bivol in their 12th.

Zurdo has the power advantage though but we will see if he can hurt Bivol who is technical and somewhat has underrated knockout power.

i am also certain that bivol will be the bookies' favourite here once they release their odds. with the recent win of bivol over canelo, for sure, boxing fans will be rooting for him as well. but with ramirez' record and being the same age with bivol, those are factors that bivol's camp need to consider. this is not an easy fight in my opinion. the odds' gap may not be far from each other. just think of it, would ramirez permit this to be his first loss? nope. so he will also train hard for this fight.

After defeating the pound-for-pound king Canelo Alvarez, it really makes sense to believe that Bivol will be the favorite even though Ramirez has also good credentials, a good record, having the same age as Bivol, and is also a ranked fighter in the Middleweight before.

But my guess about how gap their odds is not that distant. Maybe I will give Ramirez around 2.5 to win the fight while Bivol is around 1.5. I don't want to think that bookies will underestimate Ramirez just because he is against the favorite Bivol.

That fight against Canelo really put so much hype on Bivol's name because Canelo is not that easy to defeat but the latter successfully dominated the undisputed boxer in the SMW in almost all 12 rounds. On the other hand, I also won't be that surprised if it shows Bivol is the favorite in the lists of the sports bookies, I mean he earned that even if Zurdo is also an exceptional boxer with pretty records.

But I would say that it's better if we will see a toe to toe fight and in the end there will be a knock out. Two fighters with 0 losses also you may question the quality of opponents that Ramirez has as compare to Bivol who just destroyed a prime Canelo. Besides, the odds will be on Bivol's favor here, just saying how sport bookies value him in this fight.

Yes, seems that Bivol still the heavy favorite here and we will expect more from him after beating the prime favorite Canelo, Though we can't tell if how Ramirez will prepare to this fight and what kind of strategy his camp is thinking to extend his chance in winning this fight, fans is expecting a good toe-to-toe here since both fighters have that killing instinct.

Dmitry Bivol 20-0-11 KOs

That would be an interesting argument, base from bookies Bivol is the heavy favorite but with the numbers that you show and the numbers of experiences, Ramirez may surprise everyone. We never know how and who will win until we've heard it being announced.

If you gonna make your bet based only on the record numbers, then I wish you a good luck. You will be a good future victim for sharks (bookies). I suppose you are familiar with best advice for crypto investing - do your own research ? Same advice works in betting also. Compare Bivol and Ramirez opponents. Also the rule quality over quantity works great as well. Long story short - Bivol opponents were much better than Ramirez. If numbers are your best indicator, then add Bivols amateur record of 268-15 to his 20-0 in profs. While Ramirez from the very beginning started from professional career.

I will be 288-15 for Bivol vs 44-0 for Ramirez. So who is better and have more experience now?

But in this case, there are conditions that must be followed considering in his statement Canelo said that he would not have a rematch if Bivol lost to Ramirez so this is something that must be taken if Bivol still wants to fight Canelo.
Ramirez is the underdog but that doesn't mean he's weak at the moment it's just that Bivol's chances are bigger than him.

Yes, Canelo said that he doesn't want to fight a Mexican, so obviously Bivol will have to win this fight in order to make a great payday for a Canelo rematch.

Anyhow, I just thought that maybe Canelo doesn't want to deal with Golden Boy, as we all know the break up with Oscar is not that good. So regardless of Bivol win or not, for sure Canelo wanted to get his revenge fight next.
But indeed regardless of what happens between Canelo and Bivol later for the fight he is now clear Bivol is the seed.
We know his current capacity and indeed this is something that cannot be denied because indeed when compared to Zurdo Ramirez even though he is a good boxer but that will not reverse the fact that he is the seed.
I am optimistic that he will win this fight.

Any shared information on why Dmitry Bivol failed to secure a fight with Artur Beterbiev for the supposed undisputed match at the Light-Heavyweight Division?

Who do you think is responsible for that, no other than Bob Arum the villain of the Boxing world, he doesn't want his ward Beterbiev on any promotion only on ESPN

Boxing politics always deprived the hard core fans of this sport the fight we deserved to see when fighters are still in their prime. Bob Arum always want the big slice of the pie and we all know that Bivol's market value sky-rocketed when he beat Canelo so for sure he will have to receive more if he fight Beterbiev which i don't think old Bob will agree.

Bivol needs to dispose Zurdo in a convincing manner first so as to eliminate the doubt that he is just a one fight wonder and with that he deserve a shot of unifying the light heavy weight title.

We can't of course forget that this is a business after all but yeah, that's somehow unfair not just for the fans but for the boxers as well because they can't try and have that legacy they wanted even while they are still at the peak of their prime because there is some promoters like Bob Arum who just wants to milk every challenger that his fighter faces rather than give that chance to have a legacy.

But I think Bob Arum can still fight in the table and have a demand as he have the power to make it because Artur Beterbiev has 3 belts while Bivol or Zurdo if the latter will win have only 1 belt to share in the table. Bivol's name is just hyped but that doesn't take away the fact that Beterbiev holds the most belts.

Will we see Zurdo vs Beterviev in the future? maybe, if I'm not mistaken, Zurdo used to be managed by Top Rank. And then they separated and then he move to the higher weight class. Not sure if the settlement is amicable or the relationship has been strained. And Beterviev is with Top Rank. So chances are the negotiations might not be that issues assuming Zurdo's history with Top Rank, and somewhat Arum as a boxing manager might find it hard to let Zurdo fight is cash cow in the LHW division.

Yea, I also thought of that because Bob Arum is really afraid to lose his cash cow but maybe soon Beterbiev will also leave Arum's roof just like what Crawford did because Arum can't really give them the legacy they wanted even if Beterbiev only lacks one belt to be an undisputed boxer in LHW. Zurdo might be the biggest challenge for Beterbiev if their fight might materialize soon and of course if Zurdo can take Bivol's belt.

It's about money and if Arum will see a decent amount of possible profits, we know him ever since, as long as he can bring a huge amount of profits he will make ways to negotiate as of now we are waiting for this upcoming fight and we never know if Bivol will continue to protect his belt or Ramirez will take it from him.

The fate of the next fight always depends on how the previous end up. If Bivol will win, then we will hear a negotiation about his next fight.

while if Ramirez win same thing with Bivol, money fight will engage and the best offer will be the one that will sign up for a contract.

That's right! Money matters as this industry is also a business industry especially for promoters and organizers like Bob Arum himself. Surely he cannot neglect a fight that could bring him more profits especially now that Beterbiev holds the 3 belts in the said division, so their camp has more say like they would get the bigger slice of the cake.

Ramirez has a slight advantage in height, although it might be just the shoes that he is wearing.

Even if Ramirez is taller, I think Bivol can offset it with his hand speed and his great footwork.

Regardless, least see if Bivol can continue his reign and make a huge follow up on his win against Canelo.

For reference: Bivol @ 6 ft | Ramirez @ 6'2 ft

Not that much. I refer to some of Bivol's previous opponents and I saw he was once against a 6'3 ft and he won.

Although we can't compare the strengths of each of their previous opponents, we can conclude that height shouldn't be an advantage or disadvantage in this fight between Dmitry Bivol and Zurdo Ramirez. But on the humor side, possibly that Ramirez's shoes make him so much taller in that pic lol.

I heard before that Zurdo is 6'3 just like the heavyweight unified champion Usyk. He was a big super-middleweight and he doesn't even have a slim body which is the issue with taller fighters. Bivol meanwhile is a small light-heavyweight at 6'0.

Height is not really that much of a problem when taken advantage of unless it is too much of a gap. Brawlers like Miguel Cotto and Eimantas Stanionis tend to fight short in order to become stockier and stronger which benefits their power punching so they will campaign on divisions that are taller but slimmer which is prone to body shots. Tall fighters like Bernard Hopkins and Rey Vargas usually have the reach advantage too and they should fight smart to take advantage of what they have.

Bivol used to be a knockout artist before falling in love with the technicalities of boxing. Although the shorter fighter, Bivol has good speed and underrated power. Zurdo has a high KO ratio but he's more of a boxer-puncher and is smart too.

Ramirez is indeed taller than Bivol by about 6-7 cm and he also has the reach advantage against the latter but I think that wouldn't be much of an issue here because the gap is just small, Bivol is an experienced fighter too like Ramirez and I bet he got some techniques on how to handle these kinds of situation.

This fight is exciting to see because this is another huge feat that Bivol must go through and survive in-order to fight against Beterbiev next, but I reckon it wouldn't be that easy because Ramirez got skills too and has more experience professionally.

Yeah, but Ramirez seems to be the natural taller, and it looks like he can still go up one more weight class because his frame is too big for even a weight class of 175 lbs.

But if Bivol is used to fighting bigger and taller fighter, then it won't be a problem for him. He would know how to used his other tools like his speed and his fast hands. Like what he shows in the Canelo fight, his jab and his combinations really put Canelo off-balance and if he decided to fight back, Bivol will be ready for his counter.

This is an interesting match because they have different fighting stance which means there might be a lot of instance that they will throw punches at the same side. This 2 undisputed boxer is no doubt a beast but Ramirez will a clear advantage if we can base on the statistics especially the experience and height. The only that makes Bivol the favorite is because his recent success to give a upset defeat to Canelo. I will take that extra odds for Ramirez since they have almost close stats and the match is highly a decision fight  which the Veteran Ramirez has an advantage.

If only Ramirez will take advantage of his height and reach against Bivol. But then again, Bivol has a good ring IQ so it may have even it up or Bivol will have the slight advantage because of his footwork.

Very interesting if we really look at this height campaigning at LHW, maybe it's possible for him to move up to CW with that height and bone density. Or maybe he was walking around the CW limit during off season. So he don't need to add more weight and he could be draining himself trying to make 175 lbs.

It will be a great match with two boxers who have never lost and in my opinion they are equivalent in terms of performances, i give a preference to Ramirez but only because he have more experience more matches and more knockouts

But I give my preference to Bivol. He is already familiar with Mexican boxing school and will win this fight by points. Similar to Canelo, Ramirez will be loaded for a KO, but Bivol will keep distance and fire with his arms. It will be a fight where footwork wins. Instead of blocking, better to make make a step aside and throw a counter punch. Bookies are also in favour for Bivol with a slight advantage btw.

i am also certain that bivol will be the bookies' favourite here once they release their odds. with the recent win of bivol over canelo, for sure, boxing fans will be rooting for him as well. but with ramirez' record and being the same age with bivol, those are factors that bivol's camp need to consider. this is not an easy fight in my opinion. the odds' gap may not be far from each other. just think of it, would ramirez permit this to be his first loss? nope. so he will also train hard for this fight.

Expecting another dominating fight from Bivol here, after that win from Canelo, he really deserves the favorite here.

But like what you mentioned, Ramirez might surprise him and give him a tough fight but in my opinion, Bivol is good in adjusting

with how his opponent fought, we have seen him moving so quick in countering Alvarez. Adding to that, he also has strong

body that he can take solid punches., he is really the favorite here.
