At least those vendors on the street can have that kind of technology. I don't think the people here in my country would easily accept Bitcoin because they wouldn't understand what to do with it and probably reject its innovation and how it could help them in the long run. They would prefer the fiat way where paper money is king and probably not digital.

I have no problem getting taxed because we are obliged in doing so as income earners to help with the economy. Crypto taxes aren't yet being structured in the Philippines despite it's generally considered to be taxable under realized income (crypto to fiat conversion). I would likely choose to pay taxes than getting banned in the country as regulation is definitely needed to increase more adoption.

This looks good if your country does not prohibit accepting Bitcoin payments, that is, making financial transactions. What if you are breaking the law? What will be the punishment in this case? I say this because in my country it takes a very long time to decide the laws on the adoption or prohibition of cryptocurrencies. The government moves from plus to minus and vice versa. And as long as bitcoin is an unregulated coin, we will have to wait a very long time for things like accepting payment or buying with bitcoin.

As far as I know, one of the local exchanges in India has closed down due to implementing stringent regulations and guidelines by their government? Not sure on how it proceeded but the fact that there are people accepting cryptocurrencies as payment to their services/products gives hope for its wide-scale implementation in the future.

To be honest, there are other forum members who posted several threads introducing and implementing the payment of cryptocurrencies in their respective businesses. The more people post about it, the more businesses would accept cryptocurrency as a mode of alternative payment.

I have a similar thought to be honest! usually a cup of tea costs around 10 - 15 INR and I broke my calculator while calculating the value of it in bitcoin! I will have to spend more in fees fi I really want to transact there. So it's not really a feasible payment method for small payments. But the awareness is the key here. Bengaluru is the IT hub of India and majority of the population is educated and well to do in life. Such kind of open advertisement would probably make some people intrigued about bitcoin and they will probably enquire about it and do some research on it.

It is so Interesting that you are spreading bitcoin through the business you do, but I'm still curious if people who have Bitcoin would want to transfer Bitcoin to buy tea knowing fully well that tea is very cheap. As long as the government in your country accepts bitcoin and propagates bitcoin as a new payment method, giving guidance to businesses for mass adoption, people will soon adapt and learn how to use bitcoin. People usually do not tend to accept bitcoin mainly because the government has not yet allowed it, once there is government support then everything will definitely go in a better direction.

I think not have bigger impact exactly for costumer whe  using bitcoin as payment currency for street thai tea shop. I think they spent under $1 of bitcoin amount for each time transaction. Not any impact between seller and buyer about botcoin price dump or not if the owner of street thai tea shop convert their bitcoin accepting to be diat in daily day. But the owner maybe have another planning after accepting bitcoin as currency payment transaction probably when bitcoin price still dump. He has chance get profit from not his store but also get opportunity as investor hold bitcoin still with lower price.

This is an excellent initiative to make cryptocurrencies an alternative means of payment to pay for a cup of tea or other menu item, and I had previously heard of coffee shops accepting payment for a cup of coffee.
Tea and coffee are our friends in any situation and also liked by teenagers to relax and also discuss, and most cryptocurrency users are teenagers and can be a place for them to gather and discuss and exchange ideas about cryptocurrency while enjoying a cup of tea and being able to pay for it with cryptocurrencies.

How i view things is that, how many vendors in the entire Bangalore is accepting cryptocurrency. What's likely to happen is that users, especially investors, won't prefer using theur assets to buy things. But the idea or thought is there -- adaptation. The country isn't gonna make any direct announcement about the legality, because they fear it can bring down the revenue. Regardless of the existing low price for bitcoin, i guess the adoption for crypto and using it as a payment method is still in progress. Kind of, higher prices does attract new people to Bitcoin, and therefore adoption increases, but really what the end goal is; stability. The issue is, and well it's not really a issue, but by design. We aren't quite ready for that mainstream adoption due to the stability issues caused by the current climate, as well as how Bitcoin is designed. Not everyone really needs to adopt a crypto payment services, in my country there's small variety store that doesn't give much profit to the owner but they do a really small amount of profit, they will most likely take fiat over crypto because it's much more convenient for them and for the customers to do so. I think the biggest barrier is that apart from not being recognized by the government, its volatility is the biggest problem that makes people hesitate to accept and use it. If we buy bitcoin for 50k and the next day the bitcoin price drops to 45k, I believe no one will be brave enough to use bitcoin for payment, no one wants to pay more bitcoin for 1 item, while if you pay in fiat, there is no loss and no extra transaction fees.
A highly volatile asset is more suitable for investment than a payment method.
