Here in our country, the 2 most popular digital payment merchant also plans to add crypto-services soon. Not everyone really needs to adopt a crypto payment services, in my country there's small variety store that doesn't give much profit to the owner but they do a really small amount of profit, they will most likely take fiat over crypto because it's much more convenient for them and for the customers to do so. Maybe that's something that we should get used first before we judge but right now that it's not mandatory or unacceptable to adopt the system then old ways will prevail for now.

I can see that it says a cup of tea is around 30 cents. I doubt anyone would to pay using bitcoin for a cup of tea. The normal fee is around 10 to 15 cents (when the network isn't congested), which can buy you almost another cup of tea. Then when he wants to convert his bitcoins to fiat, he will have to pay a fee. Loses too much in my opinion. If he holds his bitcoin till he collects enough and then sells for fiat, there is capital gain taxes on top of his other taxes. There is a chance of the price falling. Should either accept coins that has almost negligible fees. But then again, the volatility will kills the business.

Maybe for the next few years, the price will still fluctuate due to supply and demand in the market, so the price cannot be stabilized and used as a currency. We can just accept it while trying to prepare ourselves when the time comes so we can follow bitcoin's future journey.

don't be disappointed mate. it is not just your country there are many countries in fact majority of country's nations don't have or know concept of accepting Bitcoin or Crypto as Form of payment in their businesses.
but Crypto adoption and awareness slowly increasing and more and more people getting to know about it. I am sure if there is no shop in your country which accept crypto psychally but there must be people who using crypto online for trading and other online activities.

Crypto is for all levels of people and this is being proven through different forms of acceptance we have come across. With the incident mentioned in the op I find people are with good understanding about the need and the usage of cryptocurrencies. A small shop with the board carrying crypto accepted on the pathway shows it is the money of everyone and not the one for the branded stores.

Thee are direct and indirect taxes and somehow, the government gets to collect this either from its individual citizens directly or on the goods they buy or services they pay for. Its just the way it is.
I am from a country where taxe is mostly so.etning we read in books and the few persons that pays taxe directly are those working in public offices as civil servants. As the government deducts there valued income taxe directly from there salary while paying them monthly but for the ordinary citizens, it comes as indirect taxe. The same goes for bitcoin in most.

Indeed crypto has provided us a better alternative to traditional currency but then again we should know the role cryptocurrency plays in our financial life, accepting cryptocurrency in a business is a sure way to increase your customer's satisfaction most especially crypto lovers but none cryptocurrency lovers may see it as a waste of time for them to make payment using cryptocurrencies.

For now, there are still countries that don't consider cryptocurrency as a mode of payment but it's a good thing that there are also countries that recognize it as a currency. Time will come when more countries will see the worth of crypto as well as the convenience that it could provide everyone.
In our country, even small businesses are starting to accept Bitcoin payments which I think is visible proof that blockchain technology is innovating in our place. Don't feel disappointed but we're all in the process of step-by-step adaption.

A few years ago, there was not a single country or store that accepted bitcoin but now things are slowly changing. that's a very good sign. We need more time and can't be too hasty, bitcoin is still very new to many people. As long as the popularity does not stop growing then bitcoin will soon be accepted worldwide.
