So for me it's kinda late to hear India about bitcoin and crypto adoption. Although we know that the government is still at the fence as far as bitcoin goes. Nevertheless this is a good start, awareness and hopefully their government will make a U-turn about their stance on cryptocurrencies.

Indeed, the acceptance is growing but still, we are far from the so-called mass adoption. Many people are currently holding crypto but only a few establishments are accepting this as a mode of payment - this is the reality for now. I even imagine if the use of cryptocurrencies could become more widespread in all countries and also among people, then the decline in the value and price of cryptocurrencies would be difficult because everyone already considers cryptocurrencies as valuable assets and can be used just like fiat money. But unfortunately it has not happened in all countries and cannot be used by all countries because of some rules and laws of each country.

Because some state parties also do not want to change existing laws and still want to keep their fiat currency for the better. Because if the use of crypto currency can become more common among the people, then the use of fiat money will definitely decrease, although not significantly.

What's likely to happen is that users, especially investors, won't prefer using theur assets to buy things. But the idea or thought is there -- adaptation. Given how unstable the situation is, I think it will be still a long run before fiat and crypto coexist on a daily basis. It is just amazing how crypto related ideas are being raised for awareness to those who are not knowledgeable into it yet.

For those who understand crypto and want to try to transact directly using crypto, of course they will not care about the state of the crypto market which is going down. this is a deal that will be a great moment for those who are trying it for the first time. adaptation is really needed to get used to crypto transactions.

India is one of the developing countries that allows crypto transactions but with tax collection for crypto users. But currently, the government is trying to curb crypto users by making a state finance bill that requires a 30% tax collection for crypto users. even so crypto users continue to soar to this day.

This is good though. I'm just wondering how the people would do about it when the India government has a strong and stringent policy on Crypto currency adoption. Come to talk of it, the market is not as favourable in terms of volatility how does he expects investors to transact. I believe most people bought high and do you think it would be possible using an investment to do such at bear market while you have a bull market in mind and lastly, I think this is a problem of enlightenment which should be given a proper review.

At least those vendors on the street can have that kind of technology. I don't think the people here in my country would easily accept Bitcoin because they wouldn't understand what to do with it and probably reject its innovation and how it could help them in the long run. They would prefer the fiat way where paper money is king and probably not digital.

Nevertheless, I hope it will increase adoption in other countries, and everyone will follow suit. I do hope that happens.

As long as the government in your country accepts bitcoin and propagates bitcoin as a new payment method, giving guidance to businesses for mass adoption, people will soon adapt and learn how to use bitcoin. People usually do not tend to accept bitcoin mainly because the government has not yet allowed it, once there is government support then everything will definitely go in a better direction.

I see that today's young people tend to like innovation, so bitcoin is getting more and more attention and known, bitcoin will be more widely accepted, it is inevitable whether like it or not, it still happens.

Adoption from the lower segment of the people will surely have a big impact in growth. What we see here is the reality of widespread of cryptocurrency. I see it as the transition happening in the financial system.

Isn't cryptocurrency still illegal in India? Or now there are new regulations regarding cryptocurrencies? But in fact, even though crypto is still forbidden in a country, it does not guarantee that its people are not interested in crypto. the fact is that many of its citizens are living because of crypto itself. Therefore, why make it difficult for its citizens?
If citizens can transact using crypto, they trust each other and are willing to accept, why not? provided that they are at their own risk.

looking at the picture and it's whole concepts, it makes me realise that no business is too small not to accept Bitcoin as a medium of payment if truly they want to, because it only takes one who understands Bitcoin, how it works and trust the movement that could do what this tea seller just did. because many will try to find excuse why not accepting Bitcoin for such a small tea business such as this, but he never did, which is very nice knowing people are making effort in the Bitcoin mass adoptation and usage for common purchase.

I think not have bigger impact exactly for costumer whe  using bitcoin as payment currency for street thai tea shop. I think they spent under $1 of bitcoin amount for each time transaction. Not any impact between seller and buyer about botcoin price dump or not if the owner of street thai tea shop convert their bitcoin accepting to be diat in daily day. But the owner maybe have another planning after accepting bitcoin as currency payment transaction probably when bitcoin price still dump. He has chance get profit from not his store but also get opportunity as investor hold bitcoin still with lower price.

Most are legal as trading and investment assets, but not to be used as legal tender. That's how the government has made cryptocurrency rules all along, they tax it for profits while they limit its use as a currency. Maybe to this day the rules are still the same, but some people are brave enough to adopt them in their small businesses as a nice form of support for crypto.

I think some users from India can confirm your question clearly especially regarding regulatory issues, but I assume that India has not legalized crypto as legal tender a quick google search.

A good initiative so far. I don't know if the shopkeeper got enough response receiving bitcoin as a payment method, but it's pretty sure he is adapting bitcoin. Bitcoin is legal in India so it's a good opportunity to adapt bitcoin. I can't see my country this type of adoption due to government restrictions. Hope someday I can keep my role on Bitcoin adaption.
