I just check their lottery site and I see that many games for other currencies have not started because maybe they had less players and the minimum amount is not reached yet. This is not good for the people who are bored of waiting like me.

I know lottery games are already slow but with a rule like this, it could become more slower and what if unfortunate events happened later on like the site turned offline for a long time until we found out that they abandoned the site already and took all the players coins? I think it would be better if they revised some of their rules so that players can gain more confidence upon trying this site new out.

It seems the site is quite new and there's no traffic since there's only 17 players who take a part on Ravencoin lotteries. Honestly the site isn't attracting to play since many casinos already have great UI/UX. I know this site also have old design created by SMF software, but it's a forum which is doesn't really need great UI/UX.

I see it's hard for you to attract many players, lotteries aren't an exciting games anymore since it's need to wait a long time until the winner can be drawed.

The interface of the website looks like a classic website. When I look at the last time people played the lottery, it was yesterday and in August. It proves that you need to market your website not only on the Bitcointalk forum but also on other websites such as social media or by registering your site to a website directory to get additional viewers. There's still a lot you need to do to make your website able to get a lot of visitors.

The design is indeed like the UI of forum but if you will notice immediately that it’s a lottery website once you read the content since the display is pure lottery betting option in different currency. I think the design is catchy for me because it is well organized and easy to browse the options and results. Whenever you do make out some ANN thread into this forum and able to hear out and see some advises and recommendation then it would really be better if you do really consider out on applying it

because we do know on whats the best for the site if there are some problems or not appealing to look at.People here on this forum are highly reactive when it comes to design and template of a new site.

Well, it doesn't look very good. If he really wants to promote this he should be more active after creating the OP. It wouldn't be the first case we've seen where a thread like this is created and then the OP doesn't come back.

Besides there are more effective ways to advertise his site, like paying for advertising on the forum or creating a signature campaign, but that's a serious investment and it seems to me that the OP is going for cheap.

Since you are promoting a new lottery site, you need to provide a suitable answer as to why a user would play the lottery on your site? What are the advantages than others? Because many sites have come and gone in the past. Also your site is a new one. If you are looking to do something long-term and authentic, then you are welcome. Also, there are things you need to focus on to increase awareness of a legitimate site or increase trust in it. After doing these things properly you can expect your business to be successful.

1.Make a more professional announcement thread if you really want to attract lottery players.
2.Your website looks as if it was made back in 1999. I'm not saying that this is a bad thing, but web design has evolved in the past 22 years and there are gambling websites, that are way more beautiful and functional. Old web design from the 90s has it's own charm, but your particular website design seems boring and lacking personality and attitude. It looks a little bit amateurish.
3.How many players are currently active in your lotteries, OP? I can't seem to find any info about this.
4.Having a big variety of altcoins doesn't mean anything, if you don't have a good looking and functional website.

I dont really like this fact where a new site come to this forum, created an ANN thread but not actively communicating with the forum members. Honestly, I dont like this type of game. Some people call it as lottery but I would prefer to call it as raffle game. This new site is not really bad when I visited for the first time, at least I see there is an effort to create it. However, seems that the owner do not know the fact that this kind of game need extra effort to promote in order to gain interest. I've to say it is a start but also the end of the new site.

The design of this site really looks bad and poorly laid out, and there are a lot of weird features that are seemingly just there for no reason. I can't imagine getting any business from it. How is the winning number generated?
The winning number is chosen using the PHP function random_int, according to the PHP manual the random_int function "Generates cryptographic random integers that are suitable for use where unbiased results are critical, such as when shuffling a deck of cards for a poker game.".

I was thinking of using other methods like entering a manual random seed, but apart from complicating the project, it would not increase the randomness and could be considered that the result has been manipulated. In the end, it was decided that the winner is chosen by the computer alone without human intervention.

What's stopping you from drawing the numbers until you get a result that works in your favor? All of this can be done in the background in a fraction of a second and players have no way to verify that the draw was fair and unbiased. Learn what provably fair systems mean.

The website has been designed from scratch and there is no desire to use third party libraries.

Regarding the look and feel, it's just a personal preference, I like the Windows look and feel of the late 90's and early 20th century, for it's ease of reading. I also like the gray and blue tones in the theme to give it a business and serious look.

Yes, it's a personal preference, but the primary purpose of design is to sell a product. Does your design sell a product? Besides, you don't have to compromise on speed to have a beautifully designed site. Websites can be both lightweight and attractive at the same time.

How do we know that numbers are selected truly random and how can this be verified?
It's not hard for someone to create a lottery website and show any numbers they want saying they are random.

Moreover what if there aren’t enough participants , participating in the lottery? Then you will send the money back to the sender’s address?

That is very far from the truth and only shows your ignorance of the matter. As I mentioned before, I suggest you learn what provably fair method means and how it works.
It is possible, for example, to publish a random number in an encrypted form before the game and then reveal the key afterwards, or to use publicly available but unpredictable information (for example, the hash of the next block). This would ensure fairness in your game.

I don't know how I could apply it in a multiplayer game. If I use the hash of the first player, the other players will have an advantage. And the hash of the last player may not be known until draw time.
