This is probably the main reason behind the "dropped prices" for the above two devices.

I don't think so, this is not the first time they are offering discounts for this devices, and let's face it and say that Trezor One didn't change it's hardware for ten years.
All this altcoins should be available with their native wallets, they only won't be visible in Trezor Suite, similar like all binance chain assets.

I saw they announced this feature was added recently but I don't have it in my app initially.
Note that you have to select your country if you don't see it, for Worldwide selection there is no Paypal listed.

For users who know they're from one of the supported countries, but still can't see the PayPal option after doing the above thing, you might have to either change your local currency to something like USD/EUR or adjust the amount to at least 30 dollars.

First I thought that the reason you don't see it is because they rolled out the PayPal option only for selected countries. But that's not true. They confirmed on Twitter that it's a global option. I will check it on my end the next time I fire up Trezor Suite. It's not something I plan to use personally. It's basically a type of KYC and connecting your real identity with your Trezor and crypto. They seem to have partnered with MoonPay to introduce the PayPal option.

I first thought they are adding biometric stuff for sending transactions, but this is only for unlocking Trezor Suite app, and it needs to be enabled as experimental feature.
This feature is available for Touch ID and Windows Hello, so I am not sure if Linux OS will be supported, but I will test it soon.

This is great news. My Laptop has a biometric sensor, and few Apps support biometric authentication. The only other App/software that supports Fingerprint login is KeePassXC, my favorite password manager.

I don't believe it will work on Linux. Even though also supports biometric authentication, it only works for login on the system.

As I imagined, I updated to the new version with a biometric sensor on Windows. However, the fingerprint feature is missing on Linux (v25.9.3). On Linux, the feature should be available in the Privacy section under the Application tab. Going back to Windows, you'll see this option, but not on Linux.

I'm glad they didn't add this feature for signing transactions and based on "this guide", it appears to work for view-only wallets.

I think this feature is mostly created if you are not home, but traveling with your laptop.
Luckily it's easy to disable or enable it in settings.

Regarding KeePassXC, you're absolutely right. It's my favorite password manager. I use both KeePass2 and KeePassXC. For beginners, KeePassXC is the better option. But both are excellent options. I use KeePassXC primarily on Linux.

In KeePass2 there is a plugin where you can use the Trezor as a key file, adding an extra layer of security, similar to the YubiKey's Challenge-Response pattern.

Unfortunately, however, this feature only works with KeePass2, which is a shame, as I consider it a more secure alternative than YubiKey and KeePassXC doesn't allow plugin installation.

There must be some workaround for this, or someone should create it.

You're absolutely right, but it seems like there isn't much demand for it.

DEXs give you control. But they also give you responsibility.

Scams
You can lose all your assets if you:

connect to a fake DEX
approve a malicious contract
buy scam tokens
Move slowly. Stick to known platforms. A CEX may be safer if you’re not confident in what you’re doing.

Check the settings page. Maybe there is a tick or something you need to enable in the settings before you can use DEXs. Try something simple, like ETH to USDT or a swap between two different stablecoins on the same blockchain (USDT to USDC).

I would never connect and give my hardware wallet permission to connect or share keys with any third party DEX, even if the connection goes through the native software, in this case Trezor Suite. I wouldn't feel comfortable with that. Plus, I think you will get a better deal and rates if you swap directly through a DEX's website than going through a wallet that probably takes a percentage of your profit for offering such a service.

It's very common to receive dust attacks in Eth transactions, but for Bitcoin it's extremely rare, at least I've never received one.

The enhanced protection feature against phishing transactions, if I understand correctly, is similar to Wasabi wallet, where it's possible to configure values ​​like.. below ~0.000005 BTC are neither displayed in the history nor appear in the balance.

Regarding Suite Sync, I didn't know about it and didn't know it was an experimental feature, it's great not to depend solely on third-party cloud services for labeling access, where everything can be saved locally, I think it's better this way, But I still have not understood how it keeps things synchronized between my devices, only by testing to know.

Well there's also a note mentioning 2 sync modes: Suite Sync and Legacy. Older devices like Trezor One and Trezor Model T use the Legacy format, meaning that if you already use the labeling feature on these devices, you will continue using the same format and not Suite Sync.

Regarding the choice of server for syncing your labels between your devices, according to the trezor blog, are they Electrum servers? Does anyone know this information? Because with Electrum servers it's possible to query some information like network fees ETA.

I didn't know about this 1MB limitation, this somewhat limits the potential of this feature, but they might overcome this barrier in the future, but, what if we configure our own server on Suite Sync? Can we set a limit manually? I think they need to explain this new feature better.

If you don't have your own server you can connect to for the labels, you are still relying on a third-party for the data synchronization if you use Suite Sync. The only thing that changed is the third-party provider. From Google Drive and Dropbox to Trezor. Your data is encrypted and uploaded to one of those three services.

I wonder if there are hardware limitations that prevented Trezor from introducing Suite Sync for Trezor One and Trezor T as well or if they just didn't want to do it because these two products are no longer produced and sold by the company?
