When you believe on politicians statement and promises just note your increasing pain and sorrow. To succeed just be yourself and believe only yourself because even when you vote your right it does not stand, I distance myself on some certain things about politics.

Having a good leader in the community is the best thing to have but how can we  know the good people in our society, quite right good people can be identified but how can we get them there is another thing, some good people we know don't have what it take to lead them there and that is money, bad people always have the opportunity because of the money and we masses doesn't have saying because they stave us with hunger to the extend that we don't have choice rather than to play along.

Let's be honest, 99% of humans think and have same mindset of tricking people, the fact we actually know what will be the end result and go ahead to vote makes no sense, as a citizen you clearly know all politicians act like this during an election but still decide to vote for the politician sounds funny, this is why most people have choosen to be a political apathy. I still don't blame people like this but rather I believe this system will change some day and leaders will learn to speak the truth

As far as I understand it is very difficult for political leaders to tell the truth they often resort to falsehood and deceive the people through polite use. To become a popular politician, one needs to have various qualities. One of these is the natural charm or ability to impress people. This unique quality is not found in everyone. People tend to find politicians who they know can solve their problems and one way to actually solve their problems is to first know and experience their problems, how can a politician solve something they don’t know anything about? In an ideal scenario, a politician's behaviour remains the same before and after the elections. Most of the time, they beg from their voters and make fake promises and after winning the elections they don't visit their voters and supporters. Power is what they are after, and if they see a more powerful person they will behave the way a common person is behaving with them.

Most of them consider humanity their top priority, but after coming to power they forget the word humanity altogether. Take the example of Gaza (Palestine), politicians across the globe (except a few) are silent about the genocide that is happening to the extent that even Muslim leaders are not raising their voices. We have seen that all countries put sanctions on Russia in the Ukraine war, but all those are silent on the Palestinian genocide in Gaza.

Humanity is the word politicians use to showcase their fake sympathy.

You are right, I agree with you, I have seen our country's leaders during the elections to highlight their promises. Election means promise, during the election every candidate makes various promises to improve the public life of his area. Candidates try to win the sympathy and trust of the people by promising the development of the area. When the election is imminent, the candidates run to different parts of the area, door to door of the voters. They do not hesitate to meet even the lowest income people of the area. He tries his best to attract people to him. After being elected, the promises made by the leaders are far-fetched, voters do not get to meet the elected candidates.

We can say that again because at a certain point in time, we seem to all have this character of soliciting for help and while at this time of need, we tend to express the best full delivery of our humility at the cause, but once we have achieved what we want, then we becomes more inapproachable to the same people we have been humble to while we are not yet who we are, we have the targets of what we want and while on the pursuit, we try to achieve all by all means and we later found that we are no more the same person we used to be.

Most politicians and humility are two distinct parties that cannot ever coexist. A politician who lacks a convincing personality is not considered suitable for the position because they do not always win, no matter how hard they try. Politics has been designed to be understood as a game of interest, and if you are not coming for that interest, you should not contest and instead allow those who want to take up that space. Those big promises got them to those positions, but in order to stay there, they'll have to play the political game. Yep, during the election process, many politicians show humility to attract people's support. They make promises and commit to implementing policies that benefit the community. However, after being elected, some of them may change their behavior, becoming distant and less interested in those who support them. When holding leadership positions, politicians face a lot of pressure from different interest groups, thereby forcing them to make decisions that are not always in the interests of everybody. Not all politicians change their attitudes after being elected. There are still people who always keep their promises, strive to fulfill their commitments and always care about people's opinions. All politicians should not be judged the same. There are still people who always keep their promises and perform their responsibilities well. Therefore, it is necessary to have an objective view and assessment based on the specific actions of each individual.

This is a circle that keeps repeating while the people know about it. What is now the solution as voters understand the phenomenon yet keep falling for it.

The next season they throw out their agents out on the field to start promising on their behalf and the people are given peanuts in exchange of their votes and after that the economy goods down by 10/20% in their tenure and they bid their friends again who is corrupt then the economy keeps nose diving. What is the solution to this for the masses who only need good governance with benefits of democracy.

Sometimes I wonder why a bad politician in power is been re-elected when the people already know he didn't do well during his first term in office. We all know about this but every election season, we keep allowing these politicians fool us over and over again. Politicians are psychologists, they understand the people very well and know exactly what to do or say to buy the people's sympathy. This certainly means we are the ones giving them the opportunities to toss us around.

While carrying out effective voter's education, voters should also take out time to study these politicians, their past  records and appraise them to be sure they are fit to represent the people. Any voter who ignores obvious red flags just because of some cheap benefits he got during the campaign period is not supposed to complain when the government no longer favours him.

 I don't really know if the advance countries politicians are also the same with the African countries politicians because what the Op e is purely found the in the African countries and they have never completed any of their promises. And what they always do is what the citizens need is not what they the politicians need and what the politicians need is not what we the citizens need but the politicians know the needs of the citizens and use it in their manifesto, the blueprint or the ideology to deceive the masses to vote them into the corridor of power and after when they have won the election then everything changed. Example is the present political party in Nigeria called APC. And the slogan of the party is "Change", that is they want to change the old things to new one, my friends from another countries as it is, we prefer the old things more than the new things in the country. They have changed everything from good to bad.

Fuel pump price was $0.1 and now it is $0.50. And the inflation level is X10. And because of this failure of campaign promises the political apathy is increasing every election.

Just like we have the good politicians, we also have the bad ones and we need to make sure that we avoid or prevent the bad politicians from instigating wickedness on us. Their are some politicians that are very desperate to get to the seat so that they could pack funds and hide it for their own benefit. Such kind of lifestyle must stop and we need to make sure we don't put that kind of people in position because they're going to embezzle government funds that is meant for the people.

There’s this saying that if you want something, you have to look foolish. You have to do any thing and then when you get it, you can do what you wish. That’s what they are doing. They’ll be so calm and kind during the elections, giving fake promises here and there. But when they win, they claim that they have a new vision of how to make things better but in reality they are deviation from what they promised.
