I go with Anderson Silva on this one.  I wanted him to give Jake Paul the taste of his first defeat.

I don't know if this is gonna be scripted not in this fight but if the fight is in equal no favor then Silva has the advantage for my opinion because as a legend he plays very well good punches and counter punch he already master and based on their performance but in this fight ill also bet for make Paul which is in practical life he will win for sure. And also the awaited fight is almost come for sure both fighters prepared it well.

There is a possibility that the fight will be scripted so let's just hope that they don't do that.  Anderson Silva is the underdog here, even if he has lots of experience on MMA, boxing is a different sports.  It is more tiring because of heavier gloves and attack is limited because a boxer can't use anything to attack except his punches which is very different from MMA where a fighter has the freedom to use everything in his arsenal as long as it is legal.

I'd love to see Anderson Silva knock down Jake Paul but this is an obvious win for the Paul Brothers production. Anyway, it's just entertainment, I am not sure if they will give their all here. Even in the press conference that happened there's no spark at all. It's too peaceful. You will have the kind of idea that it will be scripted. Betting, I will be wise to bet for Paul even if it's not much profitable.
I wish this will not be a game that will bring down the reputation of Silva before he fully retires.

I would love to see that, Paul being knockout by the legend. But I don't think that Anderson Silva has the power though. You just didn't compare Floyd with Silva did you lol.  Floyd fought Connor and Floyd is a BOXING all time great he wasn't crossing over into boxing.  Anderson Silva was never a professional boxer. Yes, the Rahman fight might be a good gauge, but who knows, it might be just a setup as well and Paul will win that fight. But now, he will be tested against another former MMA, but this time, it has a good stand up game and could really box and should be the closest to a boxer with a good caliber that Jake Paul will face (without getting the fight rig). So we will have to see how Jake Paul can mesh with Anderson's style and he can break him apart and if he has power in both hands. Might be interesting for some fight fans that they want to see this fight.

I still wanted to see Jake Paul though fight a legitimate boxer to see if he has what it takes for him to be called a good boxer. For me he is still an influencer boxer, just fighting for pure money and to entertain us fans.

But this fight could be a step forward, because for sure he will want to keep fighting (if he really loves the sport and not just to make tons of money). And so if the future, he might upgrade the quality of his opponents and maybe one day break barriers by stepping on a actual pro-fight.

I think you misunderstood what I've said because I don't recall that I've said somewhere nor I compared Jake Paul to a much more experienced fighter/boxer with a great record and still in his prime, and I won't even assume that you mean Anderson Silva by that because he's not in his prime anymore. We may sound like Jake Paul's haters but I would like to see that view too, getting knocked out by a retired MMA is not a view we can often see and Jake can also call that as an honor to get defeated by a legend Let's see what will be the effect on Jake Paul's mental health after he'll taste his first defeat.

Although as speculated in the other discussion, there's indeed a high chance that this fight might be scripted as Silva and Jake Paul might had a pact beforehand and just aiming to get money from the fight. I might be wrong but chances are chances, we never know.

Yes, Anderson Silva is still a threat even if he's already old enough and note this is not his first fight in the ring as he also had his own share of experience when it comes boxing and came out as a winner as well. While Jake is not that quite agile and his defense is easy to crack, I have no doubt that Silva will just play some games on him. But on the betting side, it's hard to predict who will be the winner and I have some doubts too, so I think I'll pass.

I probably won't bet this fight because I have no idea who will win.  Anderson Silva is clearly the better and more established fighter, but he's old...  Jake has age and likely supplements on his side, so for me this is a risky fight for Anderson Silva while also being one hell of a payday.  I can see why he didn't want to turn this fight down.  Win or lose I suspect it'll be the last time he enters the ring.  Personally, I'd like to see Jake get knocked out and I'd hate to see Anderson Silva get knocked out, so I probably have too much emotion on the line to add money to it.  I'll watch the fight though and hope for the best.  Old man power better be on display.
