Bottom line is really hard selecting a good project by researching on what the project puts out there for you. Many projects has social media accounts although some paid shillers are active there you should be able to determine which account is natural with time. See how the engagement is and see people complains and feed back all these can help you.

While risky you can always short the market, if you think that another round of FUD is coming and that a coin will be severely affected by it then you can short the coin and take advantage of the drop in its price, but besides that there is not much to do when the market is not really moving that much, however during a bear market it is recommended that you move your money to more solid coins, as this is the period of time in which more coins disappear due to the lack of interest coming from investors.

A prolonged bear market is something no one wants because it is very difficult to make a profit but the bear market is a machine that can help us purge weak projects and scam projects from the market and this is very good for us if we look at it in a positive light.

Based on my experience in the crypto world for many years, it is not easy to determine new projects that are good and can provide large profits.
Sometimes it is not enough to do research and analysis, because several times based on the research and analysis that I have done well, but I still
choose the wrong projects for investment several times. It is most effective by investing in old projects, because it is easier to determine which
old projects can give me big profits. Because old projects can be seen from their track record, good old projects will definitely continue to develop,
listed on many popular exchanges and in very high demand.

It is true that a good project is a good project regardless of the point in the bitcoin cycle in which it is released, however if you wait until the bull market to invest in new projects you have way more room for error as during a bull market even mediocre projects can end up giving you huge profits, while in a bear market only the most exceptional projects can do something like this, and as we know projects like those are in short supply in this market.

It is impossible for a project to maintain a price in a bear market condition. Because they do not develop a project with a stable price. Of course the project must follow the flow of the market.
