Makes me kind of asking myself where I was and what was I doing at this time 13 years ago

I feel like not having my first Btc in 2009 is the biggest financial failure in my whole life lol. I mean I can reconsider my self and understand that I was just a college student during that year. But unfortunately, I've heard Bitcoin before and did give the slightest attention to check out about cryptocurrency 2016.
What a crazy journey Bitcoin have it. No wonder why some of the early adopters specifically in 2009 or 2010 have forgot their wallet, some are even junked their hardware wallet thinking Bitcoin could never be this massive.

It's really regret for those who learned about Bitcoin in 2009 but didn't hold it. At that time many had enough money but didn't collect Bitcoin because they couldn't trust it. Today they feel that their golden period has passed. Now those people only regret. Time once gone never comes back. So we should give importance to the present and get better in the future.

I'm one of the people that regret not buying Bitcoin at lower levels around 2014, but not in 2009. No one should blame themselves for not dealing with Bitcoin in the first 2 years, after all the coin was nothing to appreciate by then. But after some years while it has been gaining recognition, I believe the risk is worth it. It is those that knew it between 2012-2014 and have the money to buy some of the coins but did not that will regret it the most.

I have dusted this off myself as life goes on. It is never too late if you are a good daily and long-term speculator. I make my regular money through BTC now.

For those who had missed out then it is understandable that they had missed out or sold early because they had already make that assured profit in short time.
No one had already that expected that we would really be going this high  and if ever they able to held for long then they would really be considered as millionaires.
Even if i had known bitcoin on that time, i cant be sure if i would be holding for that long or a decade time because its impossible to resist that if you had bought bitcoin
$1 and it increases its price to $100 then its impossible that you wont really be making a sell.

I can only imagine that it will be so hard to accept knowing that you already came across bitcoin in the year 2009 but didn't bother to check it out or know about it more, they could've been a Millionaire status if they had put some trust and risk back then. But reality is that regret always comes at last, you wouldn't know what you've wasted until the day of that regret. Even me, I already heard about it way back 2014 but only joined 3 years after because I already saw that there's really interesting on it and I witnessed somebody's life getting more comfortable.
But we can't make the time go backwards to correct those mistakes, what we can do now is to take advantage of the current market and hodl, before we get the same mistakes we did again.

Instead of losing hope about making that kind of profit again, and being hopeless and being sad at all times, just realize that bitcoin could still make you some profits and invest anyway? I mean just because you forgot to invest 13 years ago, or didn't invest 13 years ago, doesn't mean that you shouldn't invest right now neither.

If you invest right now and make 5x return instead of 50x return, that’s still good, it’s better than any stock that could profit you, or any other investment. That is why I am still in full support of bitcoin and everyone should be as well. Do not consider yourself as missed an opportunity, consider yourself as you have a chance in the future.

It seems unbelievable but in the position Bitcoin was in 13 years ago no one believed that Bitcoin would take this form. Bitcoin has gained the most popularity in the digital world since its past position. After 13 years the price of Bitcoin has increased so much, then definitely after 13 years in the future the position of Bitcoin will go to a higher level.

This makes me feel old and as everyone else, makes me feel like I should have bought some back then. But again, even the people that have acquired Bitcoin back then certainly don't hold them still, they probably used an earlier pump to make a profit. It's a nice thought to make millions like that, but you can't predict that far away. Who knows what will be the price of Bitcoin in another 13 years, so I wouldn't really think back rather than think about the future.

I do question myself sometimes what if in 10 years time bitcoin at this current price would be the same we imagine how it was in 2010 and 2011 when it was still worthless, it made me fear spending the little I have in my wallet, the best we can do is to hold at least to 7 decimals of satoshi even if I can't hold a single bitcoin, that wouldn't hurt my emotion regardless of whatever comes after the years.
I wish I had it coming but we can't really blame ourselves for being late to bitcoin, some African countries that didn't quickly have access to the internet at an early stage were still in the dark even when people were struggling for decentralization in the western world. Nigeria had access to mobile phones in 2001, you had to go to a cafe to use the internet then, not every have the capacity to afford a desktop and laptop then to talk more being exposed to the internet and bitcoin, unlike today when kids all have androids they are all playing around with. Technology limitations affected our early adoption.

I only knew about bitcoin in late 2013. Back then the price was around $37 and I thouht it was expensive. Once I knew what bitcoin was I started to mine LTC and swaping it for BTC. I also started to find jobs online and demand payment in bitcoin. I was all about bitcoin so I have used it since 2013 as a means of value. My bad, because if I knew what I now know, I wouldn't have spent it that way and today I would be a rich man. At least I did my part and helped cryptos become mainstream....

Of course we can never use a time machine. So it is better to forget about our past. Because those who will know about Bitcoin 9 years from now will also want to use time machine to buy Bitcoin in 2022 like us, which is impossible. So we are past 2031 Bitcoin users. And if we can buy Bitcoin now and hold it until 2031 then we don't have to worry about going back to 2013.

If we want to look back like the op said about bitcoin, obviously something that seems impossible can happen at this time, but this is the reality that exists today. Of course if I experienced it at that time, I probably wouldn't be able to do anything but regret why I didn't keep it until now. Is it possible that those who experienced that time would realize that bitcoin would be as valuable as it is today? obviously I believe no one will think of it at the time.
if I also experience that time it will be the same as the others, will not realize that bitcoin is very valuable and can increase sharply. Unfortunately, I'm new to 2017 where the price is already good and many people are helped by the price at that time, because many people are aware and want to hold on to it.

We might regret knowing the bitcoin price today but if given the chance to go back in time and we don't know the future today, would we buy bitcoin? Many people also said that they had exposure to bitcoin in 2010 or 2012 but they barely cared about it and it wasn't until it increased hundreds of times that they went back to learning how to invest in bitcoin. I don't believe that you or I wouldn't be brave enough, if we went back to that time to buy bitcoin, we would like everyone else, be skeptical, afraid and distrustful of bitcoin. Bitcoin is now safer to buy and it's never too late to buy bitcoin now.

Regret seems to be a common theme in Bitcoin.

Even the recipient of the first Bitcoin transaction, Hal Finney, regretted that he stopped CPU mining because the fan was too loud.

After a few days, bitcoin was running pretty stably, so I left it running. Those were the days when difficulty was 1, and you could find blocks with a CPU, not even a GPU. I mined several blocks over the next days. But I turned it off because it made my computer run hot, and the fan noise bothered me. In retrospect, I wish I had kept it up longer, but on the other hand I was extraordinarily lucky to be there at the beginning. It's one of those glass half full half empty things.

Every block he mined at that time with a CPU gave him 50 BTC, which is worth today about 1 million dollars.[1]

It's crazy to think that every time one of those early miners mined a block, which was very frequently, they would get paid an amount that is worth 1 million dollars in 2022. Bitcoin somehow managed to exist. It was really an almost impossible thing, but it managed to do it. Now it's here to stay. Unstoppable.

In terms of price growth, Bitcoin is still very young. For example, today its entire market cap is about US$400 Billion[1], whereas last year alone the IMF printed US$650 Billion out of thin air[2].

The future is still there waiting for you, so don't regret it. Take action today.

I found the below image online, this was exactly 13 years ago when the price of bitcoin was still as good as zero, it is seen on the table that exactly today, being the 6th of October, 2009(13 years ago), with $1, one could purchase BTC1,130.53...
I then tried to calculate what BTC1,130.53 is worth today according to Bitcoin's current market price, and I am indeed overwhelmed.

Taking a look at this again, it reminds me of time and how important it always be. Time and opportunity works together and those who knows the value of time will never miss an opportunity like this. I know some persons will still be very angry at themselves because they do not take opportunity like this very seriously.
This kind of opportunity will always come to us but we that knows and understand the market will grab it and never allow it to slide away. We having in another era of buying Bitcoin at lower price.
