Sometimes simplicity is not always ideal, although I understand why they want to be simple. But, you have to try to reduce these false copies, and doing that involves "difficulting" your design.

That's true there should be a level of complication when designing a site to avoid getting duplicated there are so many fake Sinbad sites now because it is easy to copy the real one, I recommend WordPress there are some plugins that will prevent copying content.

It's good that the real https://sinbad.io/en is now using Cloudflare this is to differentiate the real one from fake sites, I check some of these fake sites and they are not using Cloudflare at least for now but we never know.

I'm somehow late to this. I have read a couple of posts about this. It is true that both the avatar and signature has created a brand on the minds of bitcointalk users. What if there is need for harmony and consistency. I mean both avatar and signature maintaining one color pattern. Which among the avatar and signature do we think is more dominant in the mind of bitcointalk users also considering aesthetics.

Personally I prefer the blue and white signature colour. I don't know if Royse777 will consider to put it as a rule in the avatar  for the contestants to produce two versions of their job. One with green,black as seen in the avatar currently, two should be blue,white to see how it will blend with signature.

For this type of site, I don't recommend Wordpress, and it won't even be necessary. What they need is to improve the website template, in order to make copying the layout more complicated.

In case they use Cloudflare, it is not too expensive for a hacker to use the platform. But they tend not to. Even so, for many users this element may even go unnoticed.

Oh, I see what you mean now. Somehow I missed the part of your post where you said that you used your mobile devices to switch the site to the desktop version. I just tried it, and yes, it won't open the desktop version on Chrome. It remains stuck on loading in circles with the "checking if connection is secure" message.

And yeah, clearnet is down for me also.

Yes, anyone can copy the design of a website, using the source code of the page they want to copy.
No, if the site template is developed in a more elaborate way, it will make this task more complicated and it will be difficult to make the site look exactly the same. There will be more elements out of place than on a simple website.

I visited these sites, to see how they were made, and it has a design almost the same (or equal) to the original.
That's why I think it's important for Sinbad.io to review its design, to increase the difficulty of being copied.

Problem is that people that end up on phishing sites aren't those that are using Sinbad often and therefore they don't know exactly how the site works and looks. Even bad copy is good enough and I can make a bad copy of any site and I made maybe 3 web pages in my life. Somebody with more experience can do it in half a day probably.

I believe that all regular users have the address bookmarked so that is not a problem and the other part should be handled with good SEO in my opinion. Simply don't give phishing sites opportunity to come on top of search results.

You don't even have to have special knowledge about creating a website to make a clone of any page. There are various web scrapers for that, quite enough to clone 95% of the site. Functionality and backend are certainly not important (when we are talking about phishing sites), it is enough to have the part for the end user to get an address for the deposit, and nothing else matters after that.

Yes I did try it, and my conclusion could be wrong only in case if that onion address worked in past, or could possibly work in future, but it's highly unlikely.
I know how most scammers mind works and I think it's just bs address with few letter swap.
Like some people suggested before me, best protection against attacks like this is to bookmark Sinbad page, and all other pages you are using.
In last few years I realized most of the people don't use their brain at all (or very little), so it's possible for them to get scammed with this cheap tricks.

You can use yellow instead.  Yellow color harmonizes well with blue and green.

Yellow colour for a service such as a mixer is completely unacceptable. Otherwise, in web design, the combination of colors is very important, depending on the activity for which it is being made. I suggest that you do a little research, you will see that yellow is more suitable for some fun sites. By no means to the service or through some aspect of financial services.

Regular users should bookmark the real one, problems are those who got it from word of mouth and just typed in Sinbad, and ended up in phishing sites, phishing sites sometimes ended up on top of the results in search engines.
It's good that Sinbad had a campaign here, the campaign is for awareness of the real Sinbad it's what differentiates the real from the fake ones.
With so many phishing sites they need to keep up with the marketing campaign here for users to land on the real Sinbad, if people are in doubt about the real Sinbad they should just check these signatures posted here in this forum or the announcement thread.

I agree with this color combination. Blue, green and some golden tones would look good.

But, it also all depends on how the logo looks, in the contest they are holding. I think things should follow a pattern and everything should match.

Therefore, I will wait for the result of the contest, to give a more detailed opinion on the subject of the layout of the site.
