Exchanges like XT.COM and Huobi have famously listed the Pi Coin for trading and have seen the prices boom on their App.

There has been much confusion on social media lately and within Pi Network community circles about the validity of these listings. We all know that KYC is still not fully functional, Pi Network closed mainnet currently does not have a timeline for opening.

But just imagine the hype a fake listing could create, now imagine if it was the real thing !?

It shows how many people are excited. They hope PI will be something.
But I think buying coins that have not been launched but have been listed on the exchange is not a good move. We will lose.
Prices will continue to be manipulated until the Mainnet after that big dump will happen
Better to stay patient. Let's wait and see

How about we stop imagining and we start looking at real life.  Pi is too suspicious to be legitimate.  They officially denied the agreement of a listing and they say Pi has nothing to do with Huobi.  How does Huobi time a false listing with another Exchange?  Some people are going to get burnt so badly from this scam.  It is not the next Bitcoin.  More like the next OneCoin.

if you call it ridiculous then it is absolutely right. how come PI will overtake bitcoin when PI has not been launched till date?. then we haven't discussed the issue of value which is really very different from bitcoin!,

There's always the hype that's being done by any influential in the market, whether it's from an exchange or a service. Any news that they bring out is becoming trending especially if it's something that will make a lot of people involved and emotional.
I've seen too many participants on mining pi and whoever has made this listing or had that idea is aware of how many are hopeful with it and probably tested if many are going to bike with that hype.

It does look fishy imo, how is it possible for a reputable exchange like Houbi to wrongfully announce a listing of a coin they had no agreement of listing with the dev or project owners? It doesn't add up, so who between them is now bs the general crypto community.
Although I havr friends and relatives that are actively mining pi so I hope it will not all be for nothing, because it will really sucks.

I do actually hope as you say that after the mainnet launch, Pi might see a good showing in price because we actually saw what happened with even the fake pi coin listed on some exchanges and hope that will relate when the real thing goes live. I hope the team will get things done before this next Bull market fully take shape so we see how the coin will do.

There is lot of talk around PI, the exchanges have listed PI despite the unapproval from the founders and the developers, I wouldn't say the token would not be successfull but the module of operation is not on the rigt track, they need to be open to the public about their real intension and the road map. So now you can deposit pi mining results to the market?  In my opinion, there are irregularities such as manipulation and discrepancies.  there are several people who flock to look for these coins by buying from the results of miners who have passed the KYC who have obtained pi into their wallets at a price agreed between them.  it's really terrible

They always compare it to bitcoin because they want people to believe that PI will go the same as what bitcoin achieve nowadays. And its so hard to get in that point since knowing bitcoin is well establish already while PI still so shady which many people need to be more careful with.
