It's a scam coin, even Pi is worse than a shitcoin in our market. If I remember correctly, Pi has been in development for more than 5 years and until now it has not been traded on any exchange, not even a junk exchange. It's worse than meme coin because meme has trading volume, and for Pi, it's nothing but the illusion of pi fans. It can't even compare to meme, never compare it to bitcoin, there is no such thing as a free lunch, be careful with Pi or you will regret it.

Pi network is scam since there's no way for legit coins or tokens can be mined via phone, moreover a phone with a low spec CPU can mine Pi network without any problem lol, this is a red flag.

From discovered until right now Bitcoin has never been leaked, a centralized sites that has a Bitcoin inside the sites is the one which actually been leaked or hacked. Previously 51% attack is a hot topic in Bitcoin, but it's high unlikely will happen due to difficulty has rise up and another one is quantum computing, but the fact is quantum computing still not able to break Bitcoin security.

Different tactics have been used to promote a project. It is same as that of the MLM, because more the referral more will be the coin getting mined. As it is free to mine, just through an application it has got 50+ million application downloads. This could've brought good revenue to the developers. This is obviously a scam and tricking people into that they get a huge profit-earning PI on their app. PI mining app has running ads and even if you turn off the ads, it will still run in the background without you knowing.

Much better to avoid this kind of tactic since you are just making them rich and mining on the app is not really happening, you are just getting an airdrop.

Total silliness. My opinion is that Pi Network just wanted to steal your identity given that their system was kinda shady at its best. The idea is that you should stay away with it, it has been said that they'll release mainnet by Dec 2021 and here we are, nothing yet.

This scam has been going on for years. People don't really get anything from the pi network. At best, they are giving their personal info for free with hopes of getting some Pi coins and its value shooting up someday (which isn't going to happen anyway). Lots of tokens have been created with absurd takes on how they will topple bitcoin down, but not a single one of them ever did. I minned for a short time because of my ignorance and also because of the saying "no one knows the pregnancy that carries a King"
But at a certain time, I stopped mining and forgot about the project. I removed everything from my phone, I was like, if this be an opportunity let it slide.

Later on I now became aware of this forum, then my eyes opened about fake coins and kyc things. There is no doubt they have a very large community, but the project owners have started using the community for advertisement and other things making money from it.
I don't really know when the project will become a reality but I know it will not have an effect to be compared to Eth or Bnb let alone BTC.

Even if Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB are not equivalent to them, the price of each pie is two or five dollars.  But then it will be very good.  And if they do scam then there will be no talk about this coin.  But no matter what, some people still find that Bitcoin will go closer to it.  But they didn't stop dreaming about it.  Let's see how far the network can go in the future.  Or in a few days everything will be gone.  After a few days if it is seen that there is no coin in cryptocurrency called Pi Network.

Yeah, Pi Network is out there and is coming up even though some people think it is a scam project but I don't for now until it is. Most other projects outside Bitcoin have in one way or another been seen as a lesser projects even if I don't want to use the word SCAM. Also, we know how every other coin/token and even Exchange that do KYC seem as not good but are they actually not good because they do KYC? Their updates seem like fakes and they always have some kind of good news in every field which seems unrealistic. This kind of crypto doesn't meet the criteria of a successful coin let alone taking over bitcoins. Exactly, they thought that mining is like that as easy as it goes through their smartphones, and boom, it's ready to go. Heck no, that's not how it goes and they've been just told that they're like mining and doing the simulation all over their phone.
And even if some tokens of this project go into their balance, are they able to trade them on exchanges? No, and how many years has it gone to the public when they've been known? Their community is said to be growing but even on an exchange platform, you won't see Pi listed. Trading only takes place on Pi via person-to-person. Also, for all the coins that appeared in this industry that said they would surpass bitcoin, many of them are gone and if there are any left, they are not as loud as when they were just starting, like BTG or BCH. it's theirs.

I also always see posts in Facebook regarding Pi Network and just a few days ago, I saw a post regarding him and CZ of Binance, and he added Pi Network to the caption saying that you must bought Pi Network now that he and CZ got a picture already. That poster has a shirt with the logo of Pi as well. I mean WTF!! Is this how desperate the Pi Network supporters now.

One of the most laughable phrases that I always heard is that "Coin X will overcome Bitcoin" blah blah blah. When I always hear this, I immediately reject that project and will not make research of it. But admittedly it has a huge community and blindly believes in what this PI coin claims. Large community? You're right, your community is growing, I can see that on other social media platforms like Twitter and the telegram channel group. And I've seen a lot of people being hyped or hyped about Pi, to be honest. There are also many savages and greedy for money. If I remember correctly, Pi has been in development for more than 5 years and until now it has not been traded on any exchange, not even a junk exchange. It's worse than meme coin because meme has trading volume, and for Pi, it's nothing but the illusion of pi fans. It can't even compare to meme, never compare it to bitcoin, there is no such thing as a free lunch, be careful with Pi or you will regret it.

My guess is that it's one of the requirement to shill this coin for them to withdraw their pi coins but that won't happen because like you said, this coin was a scam and only after the people's data (KYC). They are not contented with that but they also put ads inside their app.

It's crazy that those poor people are the ones who help them earn money. I have a friend who tried this before because he believes that this is going to be the next bitcoin. The op is right. In order to be able to trade internally, they force you to complete KYC and as I know not everyone can accept KYC, it just picks randomly, that suffices to suggest it's a phishing project trying to steal users' information. That's not taking into account the risk when you install their mining app right on your phone, I don't know if they are secretly stealing other users' private information on the phone or not. There are so many shady things around this coin, it is really a cross-border scam project like the onecoin of the old days.

Do you understand what it's like to be silly? In fact, it's happening and proving you're being silly in this space. Don't fool yourself when comparing them. Let's be more clear about any issues you want to explore here. I have also heard about PI, but in the context of everything about it that I have witnessed, it has a supportive community of amateurs and a lack of technological knowledge, so it is easy to manipulate knowledge with it, and the very nature in which it is operating is more like MLM. Don't try to fool people, how can you trade p2p without KYC and KYC has been discontinued long ago. There is only 1 possibility to trade, according to me buy an account including email and password. I am not involved in this scam coin mining but my friend is mining PI and he cannot KYC and cannot sell them.

It's truly laughable when they're having that belief that a non-existent project that is still in its testing phase for so long is being said will take over bitcoin.
There's too much with these believers that they've been waiting for it so long and they've got nothing to think about but overtaking bitcoin. It's not even being traded on any exchange or if there's any then it is only available on its own platform. Don't waste your time looking and being curious with that project.

I was seriously mining the pi network coin but at a time I lost interest. It should be upto 2 years I abandoned the project and I am not regretting it.

This is a typical example of scam project which involved millions of people in mining and they  pinned their hopes with this project which is not going to be Lised on any exchange in the foreseeable future. It seems that he is one of the shillers of this Pi coin. There are so many Pi coin shillers around the internet especially on social media where they get the most tractions. Yes we found Pi Network listed on 2 global exchanges. Based on the current market situation, it is in a good phase. That's possible this is a dubious project, for five years they have been manipulating their members into believing that cloud mining through phones can be a long-term legit project and its safe to do KYC in a centralized platform, I left this project after they monetize their platform by showing ads imagine with millions of people using the platform that's huge money and now they are dumping their token to gullible people into thinking that their shit token will be listed after almost five years.

It's silly when you compare PI and bitcoin. Yes, there was a time when bitcoin was freely available to users via faucet, but have you tried comparing the technology of PI and bitcoin? Due to the fact that the deposit and withdrawal are closed, the price of the coin on different exchanges has a different price. And it is obvious that the main manipulators are the exchanges themselves, who use hype to redistribute these coins among gullible exchange participants. Yes, Pi has been around for a while now, and some persons have been mining that coin for that long.

A friend even tried convincing me to be mining the coin that it will be a huge project in the future, told him point blank no. I have had similar experience from a coin that was giving out millions of their coin for promotional purpose, while miners were also bagging lots of the coin. Turns out that after the pre-sale , and subsequent listing of the token in an exchange, the token was dumped heavily and price fell to almost zero.

There's always the hype that's being done by any influential in the market, whether it's from an exchange or a service. Any news that they bring out is becoming trending especially if it's something that will make a lot of people involved and emotional.

I don't like projects like Pi coin, they have no good utility, they solve no problems on the blockchain, still this doesn't mean it can't do so well, people already embrace the project without a main net launch, I am surprised that the noise is this much and still going, if this project eventually gets launched it will be a success, but the long term development will determine its future because the developers are very slack.

Honestly those Pi developers had continue to decieve their hodlers false hope they are even forced not to sell or buy massive Pi coin with P2P if detected the owner coin would receive ban of up to 99 years, their hodlers are also advised to "lock up" their Pi coin for many years this just to keep on giving the owners some hope, unfortunately their is no roadmap for the project and funny enough a lot of my colleagues who believe in the project are still banking on the success of the project, they believe that the price of Pi coin would start from $214 when listed in an exchange having amassed lot of pi coin from mining with their phones thus they would become rich in the nearest future of course that is perfectly untrue and realistic.

Different people may have different opinions, I think Pi Network is one of the free tokens in the world. Pi Network is essentially how far it can go in the future.  From what I understand about Pi Network it has a community of around 50 million. Pi Network is a slow project though. What investors are you guys talking about? How can one invest in a project that hasn't launched its token yet? They have just been fooling their users for years, making them use their app and inviting others so that they can earn PI, and now when they should compensate them for their efforts and the time they've waited, the team has come up with KYC and migration of the coins and stuff which were never really mentioned at the initial stage of the project.

Its an unfortunate fact that some crypto projects, like the Pi network, take advantage of their users' trust. They tell them they will make money in the future if they mine, engage, and invite others. At this point, adding KYC and coin migration steps smells like a lie. Its completely unacceptable how they've messed up the original hopes. They have lied to their "pioneers" and then changed the rules to make them do things that arent necessary.

Yes, it does look like a complicated scam, and the fact that KYC information could be used in a bad way makes things even worse. Such projects are terrible because they poison the very idea of autonomous finance and take advantage of people who are excited about it. It may seem like these lessons were learned the hard way. I haven't heard that project yet but if you are earning on that project and you are able to prove that on your own then that's so much better than the one that's being mentioned on this thread, the PI token and its mobile mining. There are others in the past that I've known but I didn't had time to indulge them because I was so focus with other projects. But it seems that this mobile mining scene have been slowly forgotten and projects that have leaned too much on it had to accept the reality and fate of it.

There isn't any waste of time in mining Pi coin it is mostly mined with mobile phone without any hassle, however the future of Pi coin is the subject of discussion as well as how it is mined is absolutely different from how Bitcoin is mine raising some questions on what problem does the project solves? I tried to raise this issue with some Pi coin miners none of them was able to give detail explanation on the project all they could say was when launched on the mainnet the price of the coin would be high and all of them (miners) would become rich after selling their coins because most of them had mined alot of Pi coin are locked up, moreso according to some information P2P Pi coin on large scale isn't allowed on their network.

I have seen various media discussions about pi mining. But since quite some time I have been active with pymining. Many people told me that this piemining would be very good. I have just checked that the PI listed in exchange is the IOU version of the token which uses the actual PI ticker and icon but the user can only buy and sell that token. They are not letting people deposit or withdraw so real PI token owners can not sell their tokens on the exchange. But as i have said there are some OTC groups that are offering PI trades with some escrowed fees. I think this is the only safe way to trade that token for now.

Personally with the current status on how PI is being transacted online, peer to peer with a middle man on platforms such as social media, it's so fishy that I can compare it to TBC (the billion coin) which is also being sold peer to peer with middle man before.

In regards of comparing it to bitcoin, people who said it is comparable to bitcoin must be joking. I can't even compare this to the top altcoins in the market.

You are right, it is similar to many altcoin but still their behavior is fishy. They migrated user tokens about a year ago but they have said their mainnet is not open to integration with other platforms. I saw some people even try to use this token to integrate with their local businesses. Some third-party websites called PI Mall emerged though i didn't find any option to use PI on that platform. It looks like another chinease ponzi scam that attracted millions of users to their platform.

Lately it seems that Pi network is growing day by day.  Who can touch Bitcoin on the Pi network?  Many say that the Pi Network will overtake Bitcoin.  I had a bit of a laugh when I heard about the Bitcoin leak.  Bitcoin is the number one coin in cryptocurrency.  I don't think comparing any coin to Bitcoin is anything but silly.  But what is your opinion?  If anyone has an idea about pi network, please let me know.

I have given hope on pi network. I took it up to myself that I will see through the end of the project, but it seems I dont even to where am going or if truly it's worth spending time on.
If truly pi will come in to existence, I believe it's fuction is likely to be like USDT where the price remain constant according to the analysis of pi that it's price is equated @π=22/7 which is equal to 3.142 so it's value remain constant which means can not be traded in exchanges. It interface is more likely to be a non custodiall wallet only p2p meaning will not be volitile. And it total supply is in billions making it to be valueless. The relevancy of any commodity is scacity. I think scacity plays a vital roll on making things expensive.

So with all this evidence I believe bitcoin is still the best compeard to any crypto currency. Expecially the topic of discussion (PI) because bitcoin has what pi never had. Bitcoin is limited in supply i.e scacity

That's how insane they are when they don't do their own research concerning the project they want to invest in, they just want to spread what they have heard from the promoters and sometimes they are blinded by their words until what comes out from their mouths are claims that has nothing to do with the reality. If Pi is real and they have a working platform, they could have done some testing and given their investors a beta version of it to be tested but what they have done so far was false promises and their investors seem die-hard to believe everything they said.

Majority of the Pi coin hodlers I knew got it through mining I never come across any investor of the coin, because I don't think any investor would waste their hard earn money on a project without a roadmap, funny enough those who hunted the coin through mining are boosting that they are already rich if the coin is eventually launch into the mainnet that the value and it price would be huge, unfortunately those hodlers continue to mine more Pi coin truly after been on false hope announced by the promoters and developers, personally I had duly informed those who care to listen about the worthlessness of the coin.

Most of the PI holders that can't dump it will do the shilling for them to just get hold off from it. They have to do whatever they can because they are probably getting the signs that has been told to them that this project isn't going to be good than the others.

  What else would you expect from that useless Pi coin? All that is known is hype. It's just a pity that those who invested there are closed-minded, as if their supporters have also been hypnotized and blind to the truth.

  Think about how many years they have been saying that Pi will take over the bitcoin price value in the market, but not even an exchange here in cryptocurrency can you see where it is listed to say that it has potential. I can hardly count how many other altcoins have said that they will surpass the price value of Bitcoin, but that has never happened in the history of Bitcoin.

There are numerous projects in the market, though they cannot be compared to prominent ones that are popular.  it's just a matter of time before we choose the require legitimate projects to invest all our time and money on and reaping quite some good amounts. From the very start of this projects, I've lost interest because mere checking their road maps which seems to be complicated, though a trader who knows how to trade should just engaged in Pi Arbitrage because that's one of the excellent technique to earn quite relevant amounts from the system. Pi network mining chances of either been a scam or legit is 50/50.

Truly you have summarized everything about Pi network it's up for it miners or hodlers to accept the reality because as it stand no amount of conviction would deter pi network to do away with it, they have a firm believe on the project and continue to mine it having been brainwashed that when Pi network is successfully launched it would supercede Bitcoin and every of it hodlers would be rich based on it launching price, what they don't understand is that Bitcoin has 21 million in it Blockchain unlike Pi coin whose estimated coin is above billion this alone would render it price to be worthless even if successful launch in any exchange.

I mean this is what is being preached by every pi coins holder I know, I mean the confidence at which they are certain of the outcome and growth of which pi coin will have is just amazing to me. No matter how I try as much as possible to linger in this view of theirs, the possible taught that this whole pi coin is actually just a big set up and those actually having it, is just wasting time on the shit but thats a different case for someone holding pi coin.

Pi network is just another unfulfilled project still hanging in the air, I wander if they are still some actual persons wasting their time mining pi, some of their miner can be so obsessed with the coin and yet they are not receiving the result of the efforts they put in. Recently I meet a pi coin miner and he told me when they launch pi, its price would be equivalent to that of Bitcoin, and I was like what do you mean? The kind of confidence they have is kind of surprising. I believe this coin is a waste of time especially comparing the amount of years it has been on hold.
