I think that the minimum limits is $500/week, which is represented in the following (paying 50 dollars to 10 Hero/Legendary members), and then appointing a manager will increase the expenses, but it will give better results.

You can run it for one month or two then decide if you want to continues or not (so 2K-4K.)

Generally $80 per member and 20 members i.e. $1600/week will give good results if you hire a smart manager.
Even though you've hired a smart manager, if there's no high quality posters at the moment since they've joined the long term and high payout campaign, the manager only can get the best of low quality posters.

$50/week for Hero/Legendary members are considered a low payout since average of signature campaigns pay around $70 for Hero/Legendary members, moreover the campaign already run at least 30+ weeks.

If the @OP want to get high quality posters, he need to give a guarantee at least 6 months the campaign will run and the payment for Hero/Legendary members is $100+

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

I can not stop thinking.
You joined in 2017, a full member with 147 merits so far but you still do not know the forum does not have a marketing team/staff.
A few days ago I caught a member whose account was also created in 2017 in the most common plagiarism
Many possible reasons for this. One that comes to my mind instantly is that it is a bought account. They buy for different purposes and unintentionally do these mistakes. Some get caught finally like the one you noticed.

Thank you, very valuable info. I will follow these figures to my investors and see if they can allocate the budget. We have spent huge amount of money with agencies to get really poor results atm, so we are changing direction and will do in-house marketing.
If this is the project you are working on at the moment (Metaisland), no surprise that marketing is not having much effect as we are in the middle of bear market and I think that no matter what you do or how much money you pour in, results won't be good. Even if you have top product with an experienced team, its gonna be tough and I am sure that you already know that.

Looking at your ANN thread, I see some suspicious activity by 2 low ranking members that are talking to each other. Did anyone offer you so called "thread bumping" service where bunch of low level accounts write in your topic, giving impression that there's real interest? If yes, just tell them no as its completely useless and a total waste of money.

Generally $80 per member and 20 members i.e. $1600/week will give good results if you hire a smart manager.
I don't think that amount of money will attract quality members, given the current situation where there's more spots in campaigns than there are quality members available.

I came here because I know this forum for a long time.
I don't know how it was around here before 2019, but imho this is not the place (at least not now) where you wanna advertise any sort of altcoin project and even if you go with signature campaign, don't expect much. Thing is, majority of people here are bitcoiners that don't care much about anything altcoin/NFT/Metaverse related or anything else popular at the moment. Don't get me wrong, signature campaigns can be good and effective way to promote your business around here but only if there's a lot of your target audience which I don't think is the case.

Thank you, things are changing fast. In 2017 Bitcointalk was very different, more simple. I will continue to update my ANN thread as we have news and we kinda forgot this forum.
My friend Hatu (co-founder of Daomaker) suggested to have a rotating ad at Bitcointalk, but I think that, like me he is not updated about new rules here.
Thanks anyway for all these information. Doing marketing for Crypto project is a complex task, lot of ways to waste money and bump our socials with fake accounts. But these are not real leads that will buy our NFT for example.

When I was working on my Kryptofranc project, I have created a page about 'how to make an alt coin from bitcoin core'. I still have people asking me questions about it.
So Bitcointalk is still the reference for info about Bitcoin source code. Even if every project is keeping their recipe now.

Doing marketing for Crypto project is a complex task, lot of ways to waste money and bump our socials with fake accounts. But these are not real leads that will buy our NFT for example.
There are values always or people would not spend money on marketing. Talking about waste of money is not only for crypto projects but any sorts of project. On Facebook marketers spend billions depending on their budget. Results depend on how well you know a platform to leverage from it.

If a project is thinking bounty hunters will be the investors of their project then they got wrong idea. The entire bounty hunting thing is a completely win ICO/NFT for owners and the hunters are taking all risks. When you spend zero money, you do not expect everything perfect. A professional team is not going to work free for you. It used to be good back in 2017-2018. At least at that time they used to get value for the coin they received. Now it's almost a dead economy. If anything left in the bounty economy then it's for the owners.

One that comes to my mind instantly is that it is a bought account.
Buying account is not prohibited at all. But unfortunately most of the time bought accounts involve themselves with shady projects to scam others because they do not have anything to lose.

Not quite sure what do you mean about rotating add, but the forum ads has been suspended a while ago,
The OP through this thread reminded me of an ad I planned to run on this forum in no distant future...
But it's rather unfortunate to learn (right now) that the forum's service have been suspended, honestly, am an active poster here but didn't know this.

And I agree with you that a good alternative is to run a signature campaign which payment is in bitcoin, but like we all have already seen on the forum, altcoin projects will hardly want to pay their campaigners in bitcoin since altcoin in question might not be convertible to Bitcoin yet and they actually need the bitcoin to keep building the project... It is only a big altcoin project that is already established that would consider running a Bitcoin paying signature campaign, as disappointing as it is, it is the truth.

Hi guys,

Where is the page where I can contact the ones responsible about having a rotating add on bitcointalk forums?

Example of reputable Signature manager that you can hire are:
1. Hhampuz
2. CryptopreneurBrainboss
3. Icopress
4. Gianluca95

OP these are some of the good managers that can market your project for you well. Also please on your part don't disappoint them if you select anyone. I will also recommend yahoo62278 and Royse777 even though Bitlucy came to the forum and spoiled his reputation, I still believe in him he is a good manager.

But your rotating ads is the part confusing me, is it the name of the project?

Royse777 even though Bitlucy came to the forum and spoiled his reputation, I still believe in him he is a good manager.
Thanks bud for the endorsement. I thought everyone forgot about me LOL

Thanks anyway for all these information. Doing marketing for Crypto project is a complex task, lot of ways to waste money and bump our socials with fake accounts. But these are not real leads that will buy our NFT for example.
Building a brand takes time. There are many successful projects who launched on bitcointalk and now they are one of the leaders in their own industry.
Consider Chipmixer. Their weekly budget is 55*$300 which means $16,500 per week.
To build the brand they have been promoting their product since March 2017.

Another example is BestChange. We all know how hard it was for them to even launch their signature campaign. People were tearing them apart just because BestChange team refused to agree with them on escrowing the campaign fund. But today they are one of the best in their own industry because of consistency to build their brand.

We have example of many casino and sportsbooks too. Sportsbet.io, Stake, Fortunejack and many others are constantly spending money on their advertising for years to build their brand. Today all of them are market leaders.

To conclude, if you have a small budget and want a few weeks advertising but expects massive result in return then it's unrealistic. For a successful project, it requires long term advertising plan to monetize the traffic of a community.

Edit: Adding some more thoughts after a day LOL.

$50/week for Hero/Legendary members are considered a low payout since average of signature campaigns pay around $70 for Hero/Legendary members, moreover the campaign already run at least 30+ weeks.

If the @OP want to get high quality posters, he need to give a guarantee at least 6 months the campaign will run and the payment for Hero/Legendary members is $100+
When designing a signature campaign one of the most important aspects a manager needs to consider is the attention the campaign will receive from the community. There are many factors to consider to make a campaign attractive, it's not just the budget. Number of required posts per week plays a big role along with the duration of a campaign. When manager is asking for 25 posts per week and rewarding $50 for it then it's too much to ask considering the ecosystem but if s/he is asking to make 15 posts to reward $50 per week then it's completely okay. The campaign will find many average participants.

Another scenario could be like this: Manager is paying $100 per week and asking to make 50+ posts. S/he will definitely encourage spammers to spam on the boards. The campaign will fail to attract reputable forum members who have influence on different boards, even though it's paying $100 per week. Having high end members also matters for a brand promotion.

A campaign manager needs to consider the project owners psychology too. Most of the project owners are not aware of the behaviors of the community members. For them it's just another place to advertise their platform. So if a manger thinks a project owner is going to spend $16K+ per week straight way like Chipmixer then it's wrong. It completely make sense that project owners will try to start from an economic budget to check the outcome. But in any case the duration can not be compromised if a project wants to create a positive brand awareness.

A project wants to run a campaign with $5k per week budget but only for 4 weeks? They are going to waste the $20k only for few signups. It's the hard reality. After the four weeks everyone will forget about the brand (maybe they will remember it for few more weeks and that's it). But instead, if they spend $1k or even $750 (tight but still) per week and continue the campaign for 20+ weeks they will receive better response. For long five months, members are going to see the brand in front of them and slowly they will start trusting it. The longer a project continue the better influence it starts to create towards the members of the community. The secret for successful projects those are now leading the industry is their long term plan to build a positive value for their own brands.

Gaming, NFTs, and the Metaverse. Other users have already suggested signature campaigns or altcoin bounty campaigns as possible ways to advertise, so no reason to go over that again.

Let me suggest a different route. This is surely even more expensive, but if the goal is to get people interested, you are going to need as many eyes as possible. How about purchasing an ad spot on a crypto news site that has some reach? Maybe even a guest post (if that's the appropriate term) or a review of what you are developing.

Is it expensive? Sure, it probably is. But if you are confident that you have a quality product that only needs a push and some marketing to get the message out there, why spare the money?
