Point is, at least OP should have given it a lot of thought and effort rather than making such a post at all. If one is very excited in the release of their app, shouldn't it be evident in the announcement first and foremost? I'm not accusing the app and its creators anything, just agreeing with the other commenter that there should have been "more" with this announcement of theirs. Hopefully OP relaunches and with a lot of effort the second time around.

The name itself is fishy, why they even use the name Electrum while they know it is belong to a popular Bitcoin wallet? They just want to have a quick recognition??

Since they've been working with this wallet, they should know that people are looking into the kind of wallet where they can trust the owner and the Devs behind it. No one will ever try to put some crypto on some random wallet like this without any proper Data or Ann Thread.

Ghost Electrum was obviously created on the play store so that it can be downloaded to the mobile phones of individual users in the crypto industry, that's why I see it causing confusion for most of the Electrum wallet users.

So if you ask me, it's still better to use the original electrum than the ghost electrum promoted by OP, I'm just telling the truth, because it's hard nowadays to just trust new cryptocurrency app wallets. But, of course it still depends on the research of other communities here if they still want to try it, they are free to do so.

The problem is that you cannot use the original Electrum to manage Ghost Coin. It is only for Bitcoin. Ghost Electrum is open source, as it should be.

Then why creating an Electrum to support Ghost when the developers of such apps can simply name it Ghost Coin wallet and that should be much better and not create confusion for people.I think though that the majority of the people who are dealing with crypto since a long time they have already settled what wallets they use,they use Electrum/Hardware wallet for their Bitcoin operations and there are a lot of multi currency wallets that most likely the majority of us use for such other cryptos like,Exodus,Atomic and Zelcore wallets to name a few.

Despite the name used, as mentioned by @MWppW, Ghost electrum is a fork of electrum made for the coin store they developed. Ghost Electrum naming. not entirely good, because there is an electrum element, so that makes the members a little hesitant to try it. If indeed anyone can check every code in the source code, please check, and let us know if something goes wrong. But if it's pure, there are only changes for coins that can be accepted, meaning that this is for the storage of the Ghostcoin.

You both could say the same about Litecoin, who name their electrum wallet Electrum-LTC. The name is used because that is the technology/software that is being used for the wallet. There is nothing wrong with including Electrum in the name. Electrum is software. If I create PlopCoin and fork electrum for it, and call it PlopCoin Electrum Wallet, people will know that it is the Electrum wallet software being used for PlopCoin.

Aside from these shitposts, it is funny (also sad) to see how many other incompetent people shitposted in this thread. It is clear that this wallet is only for "Ghost" and yet most are posting as if it is a wallet for more than that. Whether the project is good or not aside, I feel sorry for the OP...

Its common to make a fork of open source wallet code and have the type of wallet in the name. Everyone does it and those that don't are only trying to hide that fact. IMO.

Anyways, GHOST is still developing new stuff, latest being a Wrapped Ghost token on Polygon and a bridge currently in testing!
