Bitcoins when it first introduced to the society many nations raised against Bitcoin and kicked against it's technology, so i therefore before government will embrace the adoption of Bitcoin worldwide it most pass through their law first, so concerning the educational technology of cryptocurrency, it's obvious that the world is going into cryptocurrency technology and especially digital world, but right now, i believe that Bitcoin is something so many countries will embrace in future.

No one should rely on any higher institution and government to teach them about cryptocurrency and Bitcoin. The last time I know government and their curriculum of education, they don't teach what will make people wealthy. They don't teach what will offer universal Liberty. Even if they are to teach about crypto and bitcoin they will teach the aspect that is highly centralised.

They will tend to regulate the system to the fullest and make sure they will raise new generation of crypto lovers who will pay little/no attention to decentralisation and privacy

Now, crypto education becomes a priority for world-class education institutions such as University of the Cumberlands (United Kingdom), University of the West of England (United Kingdom), University of Toronto (Canada), University of Warwick (United Kingdom), University of Waterloo (Canada), University of Westminster (United Kingdom), etc.

For such reputable institutions to teach Bitcoin and cryptocurrency, it has truly demonstrated that Bitcoin will go very far very quickly and will be accepted globally as a means of exchange.

The world we live in now is a global village governed and controlled by technology. Bitcoin and cryptocurrency are a technical process that provides an alternative and simple way to control our own wealth; therefore, learning about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency is essential.

With just basic knowledge one can own and use cryptocurrency, take Bitcoin for example. One does not need to have technical knowledge before one can buy and hold Bitcoin as long as you can have a wallet on your mobile or desktop internet device you can safely store Bitcoin.

It is critical to have good technical knowledge in addition to basic knowledge. Because technology advances on a daily basis, having a good understanding will make it easier for you to access so many crypto wallets, as well as monitor and secure your Bitcoin, because knowing everything about your wallet will make it easy to access and you won't need a third-party to assist you.

For some, learning about cryptocurrrencies and how they work could act as a gateway for them to learn not only about internet technology but information technology in its entirety. I know a couple folks who started from mining cryptocurrencies and joining airdrops way back in 2015 who now owed their careers in the IT industry through the same path. Then again as with everything this is not a generalization and there could be other pathways people can take, but learning about cryptocurrencies will somehow impart you with the curiosity to know how it works, in one way or another.

Although it is a great point to make when discussing the reasons for implementing cryptocurrency education in today's school curriculums, the biggest reason why some institutions would create such leeway for bitcoin and cryptocurrency as a whole is for public awareness, and to really involve the learning minds of these students in the world of crypto. Which is something that indeed is necessary considering Web3 is powered by the blockchain.

Bitcoin has advantages for people to be aware of but putting it in an education system is a bit off on my perspective. Following are indeed its advantage over fiat:
 This blockchain simply puts smaller transaction fees than with Fiat. It is most of the time more convenient to fiat online payments because their servers are often down. Another advantage of this technology is anonymity on transactions which is its plus for those who want to avoid taxes with their purchases but this could be the factor which could slow down its adaptation across countries. There are still flaws in this technology but conflicts would be 'fixed' or changed in the future as technology in general, advances. On top of this is being an asset to generate profit.

But for it to be a profession, it's a no even if there are already  existing institution which offered such course to the students. At this moment there's no consistency to this technology even as a subject, so I think it won't be worthy for now. Think of other profitable assets not being a main thing on school premises. Using it as an example in aligned courses but as subtopic only, I think. It is not relevant to all courses ofcourse.

I believe whether a cryptocurrency will be adopted into educational curricula globally cannot be ascertained yet because we know that there are countries where cryptocurrency is still not legal even for trading however, people have taken it upon themselves for decades ago learning about cryptocurrency/the blockchain even before now just from it awareness and I also believe as some most have mentioned, this new education in some university across mostly Europe, for now, could mainly be about the Blockchain Technology than just crypto.

Indeed it is a good opportunity if the country's government allows bitcoin education but if those people can find information from other sources and not just from where they learned about bitcoin, surely it will help to understand what bitcoin is and what the benefits are for him. Maybe there's bitcoin education somewhere but it's not published because they still have doubts about their government. We will see if the government or education institutions will add bitcoin education to their learning curriculum or if they can find it on their own using an internet connection.

Yes, its indeed beneficial and we've seen that there are already universities or schools which had made out blockchain courses which its added up into their curriculum which is really a good news.

Different universities have got courses associated with cryptocurrency and blockchain. Recently in Brazil schools there was bitcoin added to the school syllabus. Crypto education in all means is being encouraged as people are much interested in exploring it to the best and understand how things were happening in a much effective manner in the decentralised network.

There is a saying, one who is educated can rule the world. The reality have differed with the innovation of bitcoin, because to rule the world people need to better about cryptocurrency and the technology that operates the network.

When you look at world you will understand that this world has become a digital world, and i believe that Bitcoin is something i have notice that is going well, and in which everybody is interested to have the knowledge of cryptocurrency, and it comes to my knowledge that their is every possibility that Bitcoin can be added in educational curriculum in certain universities and especially the country that adopt and know the future of cryptocurrency.

Mainstream educational system isn't mainly interested in bitcoin or altcoins, rather they are interested in teaching and educating about blockchain and how cryptocurrency can be integrated to the centralized world of finances, as we are already seeing through CBDCs which are controlled by governments. More interesting than crypto being taught at universities it's crypto being introduced in common citizens' daily lives. They correspond to the largest portion of the population and they are the ones who can be most benefited by this adoption for real, since many of them live from informal negotiations, dealing with money all the time.

It is nice to see that some of the leading universities in the world are including crypto as subjects. It will help to make crypto mainstream.

Unfortunately, my country is not understanding the value of crypto entirely. They are discouraging people from buying or selling crypto. They have imposed very high taxes on crypto trading. I just wish they also observe the ways in which crypto is benefitting other countries which have embraced it and then my country also removes these extra taxes. It will help crypto related companies to grow here and also crypto education will become popular with universities and schools teaching it.

We all know that in governments it will always make many not get their way to get ahead with money and with enough money, everything that has to be seen with Bitcoin requires and talks about money and it is enough, a government and its banks do not like that people handle a lot of money, because their control would already be being violated, although the banks have enough scope to dominate people, in bitcoin and crypto this domain or that control ends, because the permits end, all the domains that a third party has, therefore education in crypto turns out to be difficult for them to implement as it is, that is why personal research is good because it is much more effective.

If we are talking about add it in curriculum, are we talking about the crypto investment or the technology behind cryptocurrency that is worth to learn for the future? It's the same topic as other thread in this forum.

If it's the former then it's not worth it to add into the curriculum because teaching others how to invest doesn't fit into school curriculum especially involving money that they can't afford it.
But if it's for the technology and learn how it works for the future then it should worth to note because so many instances have been working on it and we actually see the improvement to our security so learning it now could be beneficial especially when the technology becomes more advanced later.
