Is Litecoin a forgotten cryptocurrency?

it is indeed forgotten cryptocurrency, but it still got some volume left somehow, there has been so many coins getting the spotlight in these recent years, but litecoin is never one of them, it never got the massive bullruns that many has been waiting, heck even the development is already stagnant. so it's definitely really bad choice for investment if you decide to invest for long term and even generate quite the profit out of your investment litecoin just doesn't cut it to be good investment nowadays.
I'd definitely also prefer other choice of investments like matic and even go to length of investing in layer 2 which currently always got massive investment from big venture capital and company, they are just better honestly.

The crypto world is fast evolving in such a way that old projects like litecoin with no serious utility are being forgotten. In this space, the majority of investors are all about the next big thing, what will make them the most profit, reason why memecoins are mooning against coins with real utility.
There is hardly nothing happening in the litecoin blockchain, not many people in crypto are into the privacy thing otherwise there won't be so much influx of investors in memecoins and other defi and nft projects.
I really think litecoin is being gradually forgotten.

Welcome aboard, mate. Believe me, LTC is a hidden gem that's waiting to blossom someday. It may be an "oldie", but it's still one of the best coins around for making fast and cheap payments. While Bitcoin is struggling with high fees due to the Ordinals NFT hype, Litecoin has plenty of room for day-to-day transactions with dirt-cheap fees. It costs less than $0.01 to make a transaction on the LTC blockchain compared to BTC which costs around $20 per transaction right now.

I see Litecoin has an advantage over Bitcoin with its built-in privacy features (Mimblewimble). Not many people know about this, because LTC is not as heavily-marketed as BTC is. I guess that's why Litecoin has remained under the radar for quite some time. With a total supply of only 84m units, Litecoin could live up to its name as "Silver to Bitcoin's Gold". Maybe it will reach $1k someday?

LTC really disappointed me a long time ago, I was betting that this coin will meet a similar fate to Bitcoin because it is almost the oldest coin after Bitcoin, and it also has other great advantages such as lack of supply, speed, and low fees.

In the crypto industry, a coin with huge commissions can be 100 times more popular than a coin with about zero commissions. A paradox? More like the peculiarities of the crypto environment. It doesn't matter what a coin is, it's its distribution that matters. Bitcoin and Ethereum are the most common blockchains and they have big problems with scalability, but that does not prevent them from remaining market leaders.

Most of the cryptocurrencies listed on the market have experienced large gains in price over the past years. Even during the bear market, some coins have managed to "pump" a little in price because of the hype. But that doesn't seem to be the case with LTC, as market prices are relatively the same these days. In the worse cases, LTC's price goes down only to take quite a long time to go back to its previous highs (if it ever does). I don't get why Litecoin is often under the radar of investors and traders alike, when it's one of the oldest cryptocurrencies on the market. The supply is finite (84m coins), and it's still a PoW coin unlike most of the popular "shitcoins" (ETH, ADA, BNB) which are PoS. Not only that, but LTC recently adopted a privacy mechanism dubbed "Mimblewimble" to help bring anonymity to the Blockchain. Have people forgotten about this coin? It's sad because Litecoin was often proclaimed as "Silver to Bitcoin's Gold". With Ethereum becoming less-decentralized after "The Merge", it might be possible for a truly-decentralized cryptocurrency like LTC to gain the spotlight once more.

This is really one of the oldest coins and I personally like it. Firstly, low transaction fees, and secondly, it is traded on many exchanges. I don’t think you can expect much from the token and as you put it that in the future it will skyrocket, but everything will be fine. Since this is a proven project and there are more positives than negatives

You can never go wrong with Litecoin. While other coins are often hyped, Litecoin always delivers the goods by adding useful features at a slow and steady pace. It's a battle-tested Blockchain network just like Bitcoin. What amazes me is that LTC is listed in nearly every crypto exchange known on the industry today. This is a sign that LTC is poised to last a lifetime.

Market prices may be low, but that hasn't stopped LTC from staying within the top ranks in market cap. It should be able to go all the way to $1k sooner or later. Since LTC is trading hands below the "triple digits", it has remained quite an attractive cryptocurrency for day-to-day payments (multiply market price of 1 LTC x TX fees and you'll see what I mean). I really hope it stays cheap and fast forever, making it live up to its name as "Silver to Bitcoin's Gold". Maybe it will outlast Bitcoin forks like BCH and BSV in the long run? Just my opinion
