In our world of today changes is greatly needed because centralized world freedom isn't really free anymore, knowingly or not we're being controlled by a system. And external force that we do not know about, the government are using their powers to suppress individual efforts, it's hard for the world to liberate themselves from this.

In an effort to restore all by making used of trusted System, is the reason why Blockchain , was Invented, in an effort to re-establish the lost trust in the global community of the world. I'd greatly encourage everyone reading this to step away from Centralized industry, and embraced Decentralized system, because the true freedom and Quest we all seek for lies in Decentralized system, the government agenda towards it's people should never be encouraged nor embraced by anyone. I hope this impact something into you, even as we continue to advocate for Decentralized industries to spring up and expand. Because with all that's trending globally today, the only positive thing that can happen now, it's true and complete decentralized system, which is by far the only way forward. I disagree. Decentralization is only good for certain things not everything. For example one of the fields some ICO scammers tried to "pretend to enter" was medical field (patient history) which has to be centralized and protected by a centralized authority not decentralized and accessible by anybody.
Not to mention that decentralization comes at a cost and as long as the achievement is not big enough, it is not justifiable to go that route.

I absolutely support
my interest in this topic decreased significantly when I found out that the doubt was based on Snoop Dogg's statement over FB and some comments on there. Plus relying on some MacAfee antics written on an obscure Twitter account.

There were few digital money that were created in the past, but no adoption because of how centralized the world is, but bitcoin was created which seem more like an asset, an investment and a store of value if properly planned. It gave way to a means decentralization can be more possible. Because bitcoin was created, Satoshi knew it needs blockchain.

Blockchain which first started to be decentralized but altcoin came and its centralization began. In crypto, today, we have stable coins with much more centralization, example is USDT that Tether lab can freeze on noncustodial wallet, also is BUSD that Binance can freeze on noncustodial wallet and most other stable coins too. Another is ethereum that was slightly centralized before and becoming more centralized as it moves from PoW to PoS.

Countries that have piloted and created their CBDCs are claiming it is built with blockchain technology. They are all centralized.

Recently, you can see on the news how countries prefer to work with (centralized) altcoins companies. Example is Kazakhstan that wants to build their CBDC on BNB chain. The blockchain that supposed to be decentralized is becoming more centralized.

Only what I still know is more decentralized about blockchain is still bitcoin.

There's simply no doubt that the world is full of centralized activities, from government approved and controlled system, In our world today when reading through or taken a tour, you began to found out that except Bitcoin the digital currency of the people, nothing else is truly Decentralized, just like Charles has said, the only Currency or project that could have come closer to decentralized system was the Ethereum, which is now entering a further mental phase of highly centralization. How is a decentralized system or network not free anymore, you need to first understand that not all cryptocurrencies are decentralized but only bitcoin andbyou can also choose to be decentralized or remain centralized even with bitcoin, so it's more of your responsibility to choose what you want and how you want it to appear for you.

How? Are government kicking against decentralization or bitcoin? If you truly understand the idealogy behind bitcoin p2p network on the blockchain you will discover that everything is settled through the whitepaper about how you can make use of bitcoin being decentralized.

Ethereum moved to the PoS network and made it centralized so there is no more decentralization.

This is proof that the network is centralized and has control over the network they build on PoS.

The only truly decentralized ones are Bitcoin and a few altcoins that still survive on the PoW network.

You speak like you've known alot about the synchronicity proceed, but I don't think you've understood properly how this whole thing works.
Bitcoin isn't replacing Fiat -- atleast, not yet and if it does, it might not fit into the system operatee -- it was made as a store of value. Its volatility and uncertainty is for real and that'll make it unbearable if it were given an opportunity to serve as a medium of exchange; deformated economy, fluctuating price rate for every commodity, etc..... That'll be enough reason. Advise people to indulge themselves into 'em because their privacy is guaranteed, bulk transaction confirmations ain't monitored synically , funds ain't retracted for some network issues, except the memphool is choked; trnx could still be processed in given time.
I'm not disputing that BTC doesn't become an exchange one day, but that ofcourse would need alot of modifications which, is seemingly impossible.

There are many new projects that promises bringing the decentralized world to us, making our trades decentralized without any third party that can come in the miss if the transaction. We are all aspiring for one decentralized world and somethings we see that even some coin projects are not decentralized, maybe we can agree that they are partially decentralized because they do not provide the necessary about the decentralized features. Even with the decentralized world, we still need some level of centralized exchanges or coin to stay more safer because the rate where hackers are manipulating the crypto sphere is very discouraging.

I have no doubt that absolutely newbies like myself will definitely benefits a lot from such information, The knowledge of Crypto is broad and we need to keep learning and expanding our various coast in this ecosystem.
I completely endorse the globalization of decentralization system, but moving forward you will realized that decentralization only works in some certain aspects, and can not be completely applied to every arm of humanity, just my observation

I don't know if the world is going to turn into robotics very soon and the government, economy and every other thing done by human will disappear and replaced by robots. What will be the place of human being in the world then and certainly there will be massive job loss and recession will fully hold the world in the "scrotum". Decentralized system should be better understood with the knowledge of the freedom from the control of government monitoring policy of financial aspect of human life and that is why we talk of bitcoin through blockchain that is totally out of control of the operation of government.

Second, why should scientific work or public info regarding medicine be accessible in such inefficient manner? What's wrong with current technology? The description of this paper, for example, smells fishy, doesn't it? (Haven't read it though, nor am I related to medicine)

Yeah, I don't get it either. But they entered a lot of other fields too, basically anything they thought was a "hot topic" they created a token for. I saw a bunch in energy field, one was even claiming to "ease" selling oil internationally lol.

Exactly. When we want to introduce an alternative, that should be a better one and have some advantages over the existing system. For example in bitcoin whitepaper these advantages are explained in the first page.
The funny thing is, blockchain is the least efficient form of database so the advantages have to be big enough to justify using it but they don't even exist when they mix it in fields like medicine!

Haha. That's just academia. The students saw a hot topic and thought about taking advantage to start a project, possibly a dissertation and eventually write an article to have that in their résumé. I know because we used to do the same thing although in our field you have to do solid work not some theoretical nonsense without actual work.
For example I spent months working on samples in the lab before I wrote my article on three-dimensional metallography, which was a hot topic those days.
