I think the second idea is easier to do so it is not stressed with price movements, buy once and then save it in cold wallet and wait until the price rises 10x or 100x, the great potential of Bitcoin is no doubt in the future, I'm sure the price will soon recover and skyrocket so that Makes many people regret for spending moments to buy at low prices.

Any BTC assets that have been purchased are highly recommended to be added to cold wallets as undefined movement patterns can make us change plans for long term containment, a lot of news is currently being "manipulated" to increase market panic so the market has declined significantly but we also should take advantage of the increase in assets in the portfolio, I believe the market will recover for the next year as the market has suffered losses and has dropped in price to its lowest point.

Bitcoin decline has hit a new low this week and is experiencing quite a bit of panic as the fud news circulates quite loudly out there. Many things can be learned in recent events especially buying btc on trusted exchanges and making withdrawals to wallets that you control the keys such as trust wallets. I believe bitcoin will hit a pretty significant upside in the coming years and we just have to be patient to see this reaction happen. besides that Elon musk again tweeted about the positives, where he said that bitcoin in the future where will be able to reach new ATH but that will not happen in the near future. we need to see Bitcoin break the $20k resistance point after this incident.

Whether or not the market is in a bearish condition is uncertain, but we are already in 1 bearish year after last year's ATH. No one knows about the future, but speculation about it seems very bearish for the next few months.

Is it the worst percentage pullback, I would figure volatility of BTC is still declining long term as it matures.   This is bad timing in the BTC cycle as we have many disruptive events and the rise of US Dollar index is higher then any other time since the start of BTC blockchain, my judgement relative to that it has fared well despite the pullback.
   I dont know about the depth of the dip exactly but the course of price action exploration is not over, this whole range of prices maybe as far as 10k to 20k has to go ahead.   New support must be established, then tested then we might get a rise and since June a few attempts have been in construction only to fail.  Once more price must rebuild itself relative to the wider world and it'll be some time to do so.

When I look at things from a detached perspective this is a very good moment to buy the dip, however this is only true if you are convinced about the potential about bitcoin, and since this is not the case for you and your friend then I do not recommend you do so, because if you invest in bitcoin now and the price begins to go down again I have great doubts that you are going to keep holding your coins, and if anything you will sell them for a very low price, so save yourself the trouble and just keep holding whatever amount of bitcoin you have at the moment.

I think pretty much everyone is expecting it to go lower at this point. The question is how deep it it will go downward and for how long. Personally, I’m not worried about trying to catch the bottom. I just want to make sure I’m invested before the next train leaves the station. When people seeing Bitcoin and crypto going down, they often use that phrase and it's pretty common already. Now with regards to investors losing hope, if you are new to the crypto space, it's normal I guess to feel this because I myself as well felt this one. I started in 2017 and in 2018, I saw the huge dip and I thought "it is over already". I always read comments in social media platforms such as "Bitcoin is dead" or "It's over for the crypto space." blah blah blah but here we are still.

What I'm trying to say is that, just trust the process. An investor can't be a millionaire overnight (unless he invested into a shitcoin and pumped miraculously, or he is a billionaire at start ). It takes time for an investor to gain profits and in Bitcoin. If you bought in 2017 at its peak and chose to hold and sold it last year, then you will end up making your money 3x. Patience is virtue like they always say, but not all patience pays off the investor so always do your own research.

Just look at the charts.

See the 2017 bull run and the 2018 "year of hell". That alone might be enough to convince yourself but if it wasn't then you might backtrack even more and look at the price of Bitcoin. I always believe that bear markets = opportunities whether it is in the stock market or crypto market or whatever market it is. As long as you invested in long term coins then you'll be fine.

But even if it continues, it won't let bitcoin fall to the bottom because I believe bitcoin will bounce up and start moving to break every high again.

bottoming is part of the market mate, this will happen every year or every before and after halving , now our bottom is 16k but there are predictions that it will be 14k .

Moreover, the highest price could be the new ATH price we want. So we better wait and place buy orders at the low price we want so we don't buy bitcoins like everyone else.

You are advised to buy more bitcoins if you are financially able to do so. You are also advised to always consider the risks instead of just buying without realizing what your risk is. If you want to invest and become a holder in the long term like the next 5-10 years, then this is the time.

Buying every dip is great, but either way you have to keep believing that there is always another dip that just might not happen. That means you need to consider DCA, and usually combining these two strategies will be very useful for your investment.

I do not think that there will be even bigger dips. All of those "predictions" are not really true, because if it was that easy to do then we would all be super wealthy right now, and yet we are not, which shows you proof that there is no known way of making money for sure. Even if a single person figured it out, it would grow out of them and everyone would hear about it. This is a proof that predictions are just predictions, they are not guaranteed results.

So, the dip that they are calling for already happened, and this is it, buy from here and be happy that it dropped so much for you to buy, so you can profit more than x4 when the price goes back to ATH and then some more when it keeps growing bigger and bigger.
