I think I am one of the unluckiest gambler/bettor out here, today is one of my worst days again and I think I should quit betting.

I went all in on Argentina thinking their match against Saudi Arabia would be an easy win for them, and the fact that the odds were so far away against Saudi Arabia winning while it was in huge favor of Argentina caused me to be so sure that Argentina was going to win the match, and then, I went all in, hoping to make some big wins just like yesterday, but now, everything is gone, in just a twinkle of an eye...
Argentina is a big disappointment, It's still hard to believe, I quit betting until I am able to forget this experience entirely.

I see several things wrong here.

For starters blaming it on luck instead of yourself. Then poor bankroll management and betting more than you can afford or are comfortable losing.

Gambling well done should be considered entertainment that at some point can give you extra money but don't put high hopes on it.

Im sure that if it's not only you. That happens with my friend too. I were so glad to picking saudi arabia even if that was small amounts of money. It's a bit surprised to see that saudi arabia can change the situation in second half of match.
Argentina's performance in the second half has been dropping a lot compared with the first half. So many people are thinking if argentina as a team with so many great players could win easily against saudi arabia but the situation can drastically change after saudi arabia was able to making a goal to make the score become the same. That's unpredictable result and i think that you were not lucky enough with it. You can try to believe in yourself but sometime luck can make you lose like what happened with argentina.

I won't say you should not give up, but from before until now how much profit did you make by doing sports gambling? How about the excitement it brings?
Some of us even had streaks of loss but didn't give up. My medicine is just to rest for a bit, and think about what mistakes I have done, or what I lack.

Talking about the most unlucky bettor when there were actually al lot of people who have lost huge bets from their favourite or heavy favourite teams before.
Lossing is normal in betting, coz if you place on a sure win team, then that's not called a gambling.
Upsets may happen anytime, that's why the bookies are offering attractive odds for the underdogs to split the bettors.
I know it's very disappointing when you expect too much for a team to win, but it turns out the other way around. But believe me, that shall pass, you're gonna bet again when you feel better.

This shouldn't stop you from betting, you didn't place the bet alone as majority of the gamblers went with the obvious choice which was Argentina winning the game. Argentina was the better side but the better side doesn't win every game and that's what make football very interesting to watch. Many people underated the Saudis team but fail to realized that majority of their players played in the club world cup and they gave Chelsea a very tough time in that game.
Mate, don't miss an opportunity to make good money with the ongoing world cup just because of one bad game. People lost millions in this game, don't let a few hundreds you lost stop you from betting on your favorites nation as you watch the tournament.

None could've thought of such a win from Saudi Arabia. A big disappointment for Argentina. Everyone who placed the bet over Saudi Arabia could've got it to be a lucky day. What makes you think that Argentina haven't sold the game to the rich Saudis? That's a very good possibility.

Saudis have lots of money and Argentina is dirt poor. Since the tournament is already a very dirty and corrupted one to begin with, we might see more surprises like this.

You know what is going to be more surprising? Saudis or Qataris winning the world cup.

Well, a contributing factor for their win, might have been that they were playing in front of a crowd that were cheering for a middle eastern country to win. I should think that a lot of the people in the stadium, might have been Saudis.... and that good energy will most definitely give them a home field type of advantage.

But if we use very big money to gamble, it will never be recommended because we can experience big losses too, which has happened to many gamblers out there.
When we've won big before, it's better not to think that we can win bigger money because that doesn't guarantee that we will get it.

Unfortunate. I don't follow the matches right now but in the sense of an unlikely win, matches always had that kind of appeal. An unlikely result would always happen in some games and you just ended up getting the short end of the stick in this case. Glad you decided to take a break though, if it weren't an all-in then it might be fine, but seeing as it was, getting some time off might be better since you might just pile frustration upon frustration and make some bad decisions.

Sad to hear your story @OP, I think you need to quit gambling until you've earn much money and want to gamble again, don't get a loan or use more money to chase your losses since it will just make the situation gone worse.

I've experienced this in the past where I bet almost of my money on the huge favorited team since no one think they will lose. But shit happen and I lose all of my money, it really give a good lesson for me to think twice before make a huge amount bet.

Sorry to hear this buddy, I know exactly how you feel. Sometimes you look at a match and it seems like a sure win, there is nothing that could go wrong to make you lose your bet, only to be proven completely wrong. It's such a devastating feeling to watch the game and see how the underdog is winning and there is nothing you can do. This happened twice to me this year again during big CSGO matches when Navi got kicked out. Right after the match it feels like I will never bet again in my life, but that feeling passes. The Worldcup only just started, taking a break now will make you miss out on a lot matches still to come. Maybe split out our bets over several matches next time to diversify your risk a bit.

  - I don't think you are alone in that experience mate, because even though we play different games here in crypto gambling, I think we share the same feelings as you. Because of my experience, I was able to win dice games consecutively for 4 days, because this happened to me I thought that if I can maintain this winning for a week and not think that I will lose.

An upset match can happened again in this world cup because every team is playing for there country and for a possibility to bring home the trophy. Even a low rank team can improve on this kind of tournament due to the morale boost given by representing there country on this big event. Messi did his best but not enough to break Saudi Arabia defense despite they are in possession of the ball most of the time.

I think too that not only OP lose big time on this upset match because I’m sure that many bettor include this match on there parlays bet since this match can be considered as sure win already for Argentina.

One of my friend also bet all in on argentina yesterday, he bet $350 on argentina with low odds, as argentina was the one most favorite to be the winner. Of course, he is not alone, many of us lost many bets yesterday. It is what it is, I don't think that anyone could imagine Argentina losing against S. Arabia. I also can't believe that Denmark couldn't even score one goal against Tunis. The first game today was without goals, and I thought that Croatians will win this game, easily... foolish thinking!

From time to time I go all in as well, but just with a balance available in the casino at the moment because there is no safe bet! I guess we all learn that sooner or later...
