I think I am one of the unluckiest gambler/bettor out here, today is one of my worst days again and I think I should quit betting.

I went all in on Argentina thinking their match against Saudi Arabia would be an easy win for them, and the fact that the odds were so far away against Saudi Arabia winning while it was in huge favor of Argentina caused me to be so sure that Argentina was going to win the match, and then, I went all in, hoping to make some big wins just like yesterday, but now, everything is gone, in just a twinkle of an eye...
Argentina is a big disappointment, It's still hard to believe, I quit betting until I am able to forget this experience entirely.

Most gamblers are not ready to lose or don't want to lose but that's how we will feel because gambling only has two outcomes. We have to be able to accept it even though we regret getting the defeat so we have to remember that we don't have to bet a lot of money. There is no doubt that the Saudi Arabian team was considered an easy opponent for Argentina. Even so, it wasn't wise to go all in. But just because he/OP wanted to make quick money. he didn't think for a moment that in this way he would lose his money quickly too. and so it happened.

Some of us small gamblers think we already lose tons of money but the truth is, that money was only small. We then said to ourselves that we won't gamble anymore but you are right because eventually, the urge will build up again. Maybe there are people who are truly committed and have quit a bad habit. I salute them for a having a strong will. What they did is not easy.

Just like when it comes to drinking liquors, after having a blast in a specific night, you're swearing the next day that you would never drink again yet you still find yourself in the exact same position days or weeks after. I think you need to understand that when making a bet you need to calculate your risks so that you can measure the risk to reward ratio. This is world cup and you should have expected that so many things can go wrong that is why we need to be very careful and measure the limit of our risks before making any bets. I do make bets that I know losing wouldn't make me regret or broke.

ah I really feel understand the same feeling that has happened to me. I have decided several times to stop betting but in reality I can't. And the cause of my defeat at that time was because I was too sure of the very favored team. at first I believed I would be able to win easily. and I placed a big bet. but the match was completely beyond my predictions. I stopped for a few days. But I tried to come back in several other matches. but this time I only bet small. I did it in 4 games at once on that day. and 3 of them I won. from there my confidence came back again. But this time I learned not to have high hopes for the seeded team. by betting reasonably.

my head feels hot and hurts when I lose a large amount. all day I sleep. don't even want to move. even trading activities that became my routine I also left. But when you lose a small amount it turns out it's not so bad. I can control myself more. and this time I must not forget that this is just for fun and not my main focus. but sometimes i forget. and instead make it the main focus. I think many have had the same experience.

It is indeed funny. Just when you make a huge bet on Argentina because they are up against a much weaker team, so your odds are really low and you're very confident to win, Argentina lost. And just when you didn't make a bet on Argentina in the finals when they were up against a strong opponent in France, and the odds are just -125 in favor of Argentina and it's not certain if they win, Argentina won.

I think it is always better to bet moderately on your team, favorite or not, so that you can still bet on the next games. If you bet all in and you lost, you will miss the rest, and the fun, and the chance to recover your loss.
