I thought that Brazil would undoubtedly be in the final but i was surprised that the surprise results marked the 2022 World Cup. When the tournament started my favorite was Brazil. My current favorite is Portugal. It would be great to see Ronaldo and Messi in the final. Croatia, on the other hand, can eliminate Argentina from the cup with a completely rational game. I'm not sure of that. I do not expect any surprises from the Moroccan National Team. But the French always manage to find a way to write their names in the final. It will be a great pleasure to watch Messi and Ronaldo in the final.

The Croatian team is the current world runner-up from Russia and the results of this team should no longer be a surprise to anyone.
Croatia is a well organized team, mentally strong and with great players like Modric, Btozovic, Kovacic, Perisic etc.
On the other hand, Argentina depends too much on Messi and if Messi is stopped, then Argentina is also stopped. The Argentine team is a one man show.
Croatia already beat Argentina in the last world cup and they already know how to stop Messi and they can do it again.
In the match between France and England, I give a small advantage to France because of Mbappe, and Portugal will have a very difficult time against Morocco, even though they have a slight advantage.

The World Cup in Qatar was full of surprises this time. The Argentine team lost their first match against KSA. However, they qualified for the round of 16 as group champions. Belgium and Germany were among the favorites for the World Cup. They were eliminated in the group stage. Spain unexpectedly lost against Morocco in the knockout round. Every team in the quarter finals is strong. It is very difficult to predict which team will qualify for the semi-finals. But I would like to see Argentina vs Brazil in the semi-final.

Overall, the tournament was quite disastrous for the UEFA teams. Some of the tournament favorites from that region are out of contention. Belgium, Germany, Spain and Danmark are a few examples. CONMEBOL also didn't performed well. Uruguay and Ecuador didn't managed to qualify for the PQF stage, which was a big surprise. And although AFC teams such as Japan and South Korea performed exceptionally well in the group stage, they just couldn't get their act right during the pre-quarter final stage.

As I said since the beginning of the discussion before the world cup was held. Belgium, Germany, Spain will not be what we expect.  and in fact, it is proven. both Germany and Spain are in the process of renewing their players, although it is my personal opinion that the failure of Germany and Spain is a mistake by the coaches. but not for Belgium, since the beginning Belgium played inconsistently in the Nations League. it doesn't mean they don't have the depth of players they have, but there is a gap between the players within the team. and the coach, unable to put it together. if the Netherlands doesn't meet Argentina, I'm sure they'll at least make it to the semi-finals.

What was surprising was Brazil, the Samba Team, which was originally predicted to be the most ideal squad to be in the final round of this world cup, instead fell down and lost to Korasia. Japan, Australia, became a surprise even though they fell in the round of the last 16. the championship candidates have narrowed down to just a few teams. at the moment we are just waiting for the results of the matches between Morocco vs Portugal and France vs England.

And candidates who will enter the final round, there are already two teams. Croatia or Argentina. the rest, let's wait for which team will enter the semi-finals, the end of this world cup is getting more exciting for us to wait for, and even more thrilling.

Not just you, most people here expected Brazil to be better, and figuring out your opponent inside a game is a very difficult thing to do, this is why their only goal came from a personal talent as well, Neymar scored with his own talent, sure a good pass but still it was him putting all his skills to use to manage to score, there was no tactical approach that countered what Croatia did.

All in all I am guessing that this will be a good lesson for them, Neymar is still young enough to have another go at the world cup, sad because they wanted to win one for Pele, but it's fine, there will be other tries. Now we have to watch and see what happens, I do not feel like I could even begin to guess who will play.

Kane didn't make it on the second penalty kick so he failed any luck to add the score, so free kicks don't always work for every player even Messi also failed to take a penalty kick in the last match. I am very surprised, that morocco has reached a new record in the history of the world cup, now morocco vs france is a dream match, but they deserve to be in the quarter final match position.

I have to say that he left out so many talented players from the Spain squad like Sergio Ramos and Thiago Alcântara which is very unfortunate.

I think he also gave Pedri a more defensive role than he is used to. I think Germany also could have gotten better players on the pitch. So the AFC teams have really played well which I did not expect. And I am not sure what to say about the Latin American teams as the early departure of Brazil was not what I expected.

This world cup has very different demention and it is making gambler's to lose money because why you don't expect the underdogs do, they will prove you wrong. I am tired of seeing these inconsistencies that is why I will no longer be able to predict this World Cup matches to the end. I will rather check other means of beting rather than saying who will qualify for the next round.

When you have a limited amount of players you can pick, you don't pick the best 26 players of that nation, you pick the best of certain positions. Which means if Ramos is overall more talented than some midfield they picked, but they needed that midfield player and yet had better defenders than Ramos, then you do it that way.

Same was said about Brazil and Firminho for example, if he was there then he could have scored goals or passed to Neymar better and they would have been still playing, but because he wasn't there and picked, and even during the games substitions were either too late or bad, they lost. So it's not an easy decision, it is quite difficult and stressful for managers too.

Going back it is clear that they made themselves strong in a slow and steady manner.

• Levelled 0-0 against Croatia in the first round.
• Won against Belgium 2-0 which itself an unexpected one.
• Further won against Canada 1-0 and reached round of 16.
• Won against  Spain 1-0 to reach quarter finals.
• In the quarter finals it was a very big surprise to win against Portugal.

This match, the Morocco odds is @8.00, for me it's not that really high. Usually underdog club odds is higher than @12.00 since they think there's no way upset could happen.

Well if they are right, according to what I saw with Spain, it was crazy not to take Lucas or Sergio Ramos just because Luis Enrique still lives off a silly rivalry between Real Madrid and Barcelona, apart from being more pending to make live presentations on Twitch instead of dedicating himself to doing his job well, but hey, there are the results they obtained, a Europa League Team representing an entire country is not worthy of winning World Cups, there are many stars in the other countries of a much higher level than if they were called.

Morocco has been making it so far. I thought that if morocco will be able to winning the match against argentina. I think that morocco in so many disadvantage over barcelona but we must remember if morocco was always winning the match even again some big countries like portugal which has been filled by so many professional player in the world. Morocco has already passed the target they wanted at the World Cup, having made it through to the quarter-finals to be a good achievement for Morocco. Their success in completing the game by beating Portugal made Morocco pass the initial target, succeeding in being in the semifinals is new history for Morocco in the world cup.
France is a strong opponent for Morocco, I have seen how France played when they beat Poland and England. Morocco chances are slim, but as has happened in the previous two games when they beat Spain and Portugal, nothing is impossible if luck is with them.
