Really hard to make a good prediction at the moment, so far we have seen every team play at least one and max two games. There were several surprise during the first week that make finals a bit more unpredictable. Usually I don't bet on the tournament winner before the semi finals. Too many things could go wrong and a strong team might get knocked out early. Just look at Germany for example, they are probably out tomorrow.
So my first prediction for the finals is Brasil vs France, the two teams convinced me the most and I think they get very far during the Worldcup. My second prediction would be Brasil vs Spain, Spain had such a good first match that they could go deep this year as well. Beating a team 7-0 during your first match should make every player on the team hyped for the tournament. I believe in streaks during football games and a lot of momentum will be carried over to the next match.

The Argentina - France final creates an exciting connotation for me. If Argentina fail to reach the final, the Brazil - France final would also be a good option. Brazil, England and France showed a very successful performance in their first match. These teams definitely deserve to reach the finals. Argentina and Germany performed poorly and disappointed us. But everything can change in the second games. We cannot say that everything is over for them. I don't think one of the teams that we will name as a surprise can make it to the final. For example, Japan and Senegal played good football. But I don't think they will go to the next round.

With all the surprises that many teams played against our expectations it’s very hard to predict and almost impossible seeing that even small countries are competing with most strong and highly expected teams, as we have seen with Saudi Arabia and Japan they defeated Argentina and Germany. If I refer to the Brazil vs Belgium prediction, I remember another thread from a mathematician who predicted that the teams that would enter the final match would be Brazil and Belgium. he is @JoshuaABbull a mathematician, who predicts on his Twitter the result of his calculations.
however, when referring to the game Beligia played against Canada. I doubt Belgium will be able to qualify from the last 16 with that style of play. even so, there are many possibilities why Belgium didn't play optimally even though they won over Canada. for Brazil, I'm quite optimistic they will advance to the final round later. There is definitely not all teams having a chance to win this tournament.  My country, the United States has absolutely no chance at winning this cup. I’m am however quite surprised at how well they’ve been doing so far. Maybe not scoring any goals but not having England score on us was a pretty huge victory in and of itself.

I hope like hell we beat Iran. A team that shouldn’t even be allowed to play in the tournament.

I don't think so, obviously Argentina is an ideal team with the statistics they had before this world cup was held. Argen's defeat of Saudi Arabia was purely a factor of their misfortune. How about the two goals that were scored by Lautaro Martinez, one was ruled out for offside and one was disallowed by VAR. and look, there are 6 Arab squad players who get yellow cards only for tripping Argentinian players while carrying out attack after attack. a quick goal from the Arab team in the 48th minute of the second half, took the Argen players by surprise then followed 5 minutes later, Saudi Arabia added their goal.

The USA has been wonderful in this world cup, and I don't think anyone should underestimate them. As you had said, the tournament is still on, anything could happen, and they only have to work on their attack, I think the team is fully ready for this world cup. They have not been defeated, and neither have they won any match, yet, they have a higher chance. Iran should not be a problem to them since they could hold a good team like England to a goalless draw.

I thought we should start a thread where we could speculate about who would be the teams meeting in this year's Soccer world Cup final.

I was innitially predicting to see England vs Germany at the final, but the wway Germany demonstrated to have their team, it doesn't seem to me that they will get too far.

From what I have seen from the first matches, I believe there is a strong chance of seeing a Spain vs England match at the final of the world cup.

if I look at some of the seeded countries now being unseeded because of embarrassing defeats like argentina and germany, i speculate that brazil and france will be more likely to meet in the world cup final considering they are showing great games than the others, i think spain will fall in the top 4 and not sure spain will reach the final
