Okay so earlier I came across a site that claimed that it's possible to get bitcoins for free by just; playing offline and online games, watching ads and videos, participating in airdrops and so on. They also recommended apps that give out bitcoin for free  like coinbase. Bitcoin, ranked as one of the most expensive cypto currencies can be earned for free by just watching ads? Nah I just find it hard to believe cause I've seen a lot of scam related schemes that claim to give out bitcoin for free. I don't know, I might be wrong cause I'm still a newbie that's why I brought this here, to see if I can get some clarification on the matter. Thank you.

Possible? yes. Is it worth your time? probably not.

The same thing applies to Coinbase[1] and other similar programs[2]. Some of them require you to verify your identity before you can claim the rewards which is something I don't recommend doing.

Faucets are like the OG.

Adding to what Omega said, back in the days when BTC was still in its infancy, they used to dispense large amounts which meant big banks if you held on them and never sold.

Now realistically, it's not always about earning Bitcoin, rather using fiat to buy Bitcoin. Both concepts are the same because Bitcoin is measured by its fiat value. Using the faucet example, the values per claim have mainly been in cents but BTC was only valued in cents as well. Now you'd only get like single-digit satoshis and a bunch of ads right in your face. And those courses from exchanges like Binance that give free crypto seldom teach on moving your funds to a cold wallet. If they get hacked one day, the cryptos you supposedly earn become mere numbers.

For instance, if you were to complete a job that pays $20 in Bitcoin, at the current rate of $16,550, that's ~0.0012 BTC. Some fees are lost over conversion and network/ blockchain but they're like mere cents to a few dollars at most.

participating in airdrops and so on.
Back in the day, earlier 2017 was a great time for claiming free airdrops and get some good amount for doing simple tasks. In return, you would get some altcoin which you could sell for bitcoin. But these days, airdrops worth nothing. I haven't participated in any airdrop in the last few year, haven't heard any airdrop to give a good amount too. Anything you are looking for free, is a waste of time these days.

Alright I thought as much though, I just didn't seem like something that's legit, probably not worth the stress involved in it. Thank you

Exactly, I did participate in a few air drops like thinking i would gain from it, it all turned out to be fake

claimed that it's possible to get bitcoins for free by just; playing offline and online games, watching ads and videos, participating in airdrops and so on

Airdrops are related to altcoins. Most will give nothing or will give worthless coins you cannot exchange anywhere.
Playing games.. I don't know.

Faucets and websites that pay for views/clicks do exist and many do pay out (not all of them though!!!), but if you take into account the huge amount of time that requires, if you also take into account that your computer is also consuming electricity you'll pay for, ... it's not worth it.

Afaik the most known and reputed faucet is https://freebitco.in/, if you want to start with something, but I recommend you do something more lucrative with your time (if nothing else, then learn some skills that can give you a better paid job) and just buy bitcoin with your fiat.

The answer is yes.
The faucet can give you bitcoins for free but you need to spend a long time before you can collect decent satoshis.
The best thing you can do now is buying Bitcoin and hold it.
Maybe you need to spend some money monthly to buy bitcoin but that is worth doing.
If you can go back to 2013, you will have your chances to get bitcoins for free as faucets became a way to get bitcoin but that is already happening and you can not go back to that year.
All you have to do is try to have bitcoin, whether you buy or play a faucet. Every satoshi now is worth Grin

If the question is whether you can get bitcoin for free, without doing anything, the answer is no, that is, there are some ways, like faucets, but they are not profitable.
You can buy Bitcoin with your own money, get it by trading or earn it by concrete work.
You can never get something for nothing.
However, I advise you to look under market and services on this forum for ways to earn bitcoin based on specific work such as logo creation, translation, signature campaigns etc.
Through simple work, you can earn bitcoins without the risk of investing your own money. You might be interested in that.

It's not "free" though, isn't it? Not because something takes little effort doesn't mean it's free. You're still wasting precious time that you could be using for something else far more productive.

OP, you need to know some facts about "free" bitcoin. Most often it is a miserable amount, but if you are a beginner, it is a very good way to get better acquainted with the way the network works. You will learn more about transactions, public and private keys, tx fees etc...
in case you come across an offer that offers a much larger amount for free, be sure that it is a scam or a false offer.

It's not "free" though, isn't it? Not because something takes little effort doesn't mean it's free. You're still wasting precious time that you could be using for something else far more productive.

many do not consider their time as a valuable resource, although it is quite limited.
I guess anything can be considered free as long as you don't have to take money out of your wallet.

Many people don't consider investing their time as an investment, I think the OP is primarily thinking about how to get BTC without investing fiat. I agree that faucets and various PTCs are very slow and poorly paid ways to earn BTC, although some would be surprised if this was the case in the past when BTC was only worth a few hundred $. Faucets used to pay 1000 to 5000 satoshi per claim, currently they pay 1-15 sat per claim, but the fiat value of those coins has not changed too much.

What apparently no one takes into account is that these questions are mostly asked by very young people who cannot yet do anything "productive" nor can they legally buy BTC because they are underage. Sometimes it may be better to spend a little time on something than to invest directly, and besides, there are much worse ways to waste time, such as watching TV or playing games, which have become the daily routine of a large number of young people.

Still it is really possible to get a bitcoin for free which is the use of the airdrops but only a small portion of it like just a limited number of satoshi and if you are asking if still ideal to have this for me now it really consumes a lot of time to wait and claim but it's up to you if you have a lot of time just to claim small portions of satoshi, if I'm not mistaken we have freebitco.in still have this kind of features.

Once upon a time you can get BTC for free, gone are those days when BTC faucets are all over the internet and people don't care about what Bitcoin was all about, now that BTC is scarce it's impossible to get it for free.

Oh, that reminds me, freebitco still gives free Bitcoin to people but in Satoshi for example 0.00000067 BTC per hour but you will have to spend a lot of time to reach a limited withdrawal threshold.

I guess being underage is a totally valid excuse.

Still though, if I was underage, I'd rather play online games(like RuneScape) with sell-able in-game items. Some games can make you earn decent money(if you're in a 3rd world country) if you have a decent account and a decent in-game moneymaking method.

For now, even btc faucets only make a few sats which is not worth it. Actually there are several free (real) bitcoin sweepstakes distributed on twitter every day, it's just that you have to try your luck with thousands of other participants.

Seems like it really takes some effort to exchange for a decent amount, bitcoin is currently too valuable to be free.

When life gets hard BUY Bitcoin!

Thank you.

Definitely a waste of time. Much better if you focus your time on finding a job to get stable income that you can use to purchase Bitcoin rather doing time consuming things in exchange for a penny worth reward. Newbie should stop giving away there time and effort to owner of this kind of apps that surely just using traffic for there own profit and just share small portion to worker like you that do most of the job.

If you are just using free time, why not focus on freelance job that will reward Bitcoin. There’s a lot of freelance job vacancies available on LinkedIn from crypto company that in needs of additional work force for there project. Find a decent job and stop looking for free stuff. Free stuff like faucet, airdrop and etc is not worthy anymore because crypto market is already grow.

It only works before because a penny back then is now more than a dollar now due to the price growth. A price growth like that is very hard to happened on current situation.

I think faucets are not worth your time. I mean, because the chances of them paying out is quite low. You will have to wait for months before you reach their minimum payout threshold. I think we, who are always looking for ways to earn more bitcoins should also bear in mind that time is the most precious resource in all of this, hence using our time on faucets is not the best thing to do.

So the conclusion is: yes it's possible to get free bitcoins but only in small amounts. If you're up for spending a lot of time accomplishing this, then go for it, if you don't have the time, then it's not worth it.

Faucets do give free bitcoins but it's not worth it at all especially with a lot of time to spend of course this is not worth what to do unless you put money doing trades and investments then that's the way to earn bitcoins definitely not with faucets.
Except for the faucet in 2015 that gives a lot of free bitcoins but for now it is very difficult to find them and maybe a few sats will be obtained.

But you have to try with your luck on an airdrop that can produce and then exchange it for bitcoin, but you need to know that not all airdrops are good even more than fraud, which in the end we work for and don't get anything, nothing is easy in this all need hard work and patience to enjoy good results.

yeah, those play-to-earn games usually have a shit high fee before you can withdraw which makes the whole thing a waste of time.
NeuroticFish mentioned Freebitco.in, if you are looking for a faucet Freebitco.in is the best choice you have(at least in my opinion). what makes their faucet good is that you have a chance of winning several mbtc from their faucet. take note that the website I am mentioning is a gambling site.

Yes, of course you can get bitcoins for free in various ways.
But remember to be careful and not carelessly participate in sites or ways to get free bitcoins.
You must first investigate the truth before you decide to participate.
In my free time, I often play bitcoin earning games on my android phone.
But remember don't expect more if we want bitcoin for free.
Because getting bitcoins for free would be really time-consuming and would take a long time to collect.

Yes, there is some online site that pays some fraction of Bitcoin for executing some task maybe playing offline and online games, watching ads, etc. However, the reward is involved doesn't worth the time you'll spend executing the needed tasks.
I believe airdrops seems to be fair but most of the airdrop of today are time-wasting only a few have a better reward.

Bitcoin, ranked as one of the most expensive cypto currencies can be earned for free by just watching ads?
This is possible but you're working for the site owner who will literally use your data mine crypto or pay you 0.1% of the money she'll get through the company she affiliated and in some cases some of the site won't even pay you for the service you render.

If you think you can get rich by earning Bitcoin for free, you're wrong here since the reason why Bitcoin price is expensive is because it's limited and scarce. Those faucet is really wasting time and even though you've got minimum about to able to withdraw your coins, but you will have a bunch input and it will cost you high fees when you want to move your coins.

There's a people who say cloud mining is the another way to earn Bitcoin without doing anything, but remember cloud mining is scam since it's like ponzi scheme.

Maybe if we know and lived at that time we can get rich if still keep it in a wallet or maybe if the user forgot the password, can he claim that 5 btc?
but I think it's impossible to happen again, except when entering a new token.

5 BTC for that time is see work where have to washing the time, especially to resolve captcha because at that time I was busy playing Paid for clicking ads (where I Get Paid from $0.5 per Click) where i receive money to my PayPal,
maybe I ever seen that faucet, but still not interesting because don't have value(money) at that time. So if we are regret, I believe 100% people here regret to come back again on that time.

Nah, the site is already long gone. Whoever that didn't withdraw before it shut down lost their balance.

Nothing is given for free, including btc. The method you are talking about is a waste of time. To get bitcon (at least a small part) now you need to make a lot of effort. The times when you could earn a couple or two BTC only on faucets are long gone. You can earn bitcoin by receiving it as payment or by purchasing it with traditional money. In both cases, you will need to offer a product or service for which there are buyers.

Thank you.
yeah, those play-to-earn games usually have a shit high fee before you can withdraw which makes the whole thing a waste of time.
NeuroticFish mentioned Freebitco.in, if you are looking for a faucet Freebitco.in is the best choice you have(at least in my opinion). what makes their faucet good is that you have a chance of winning several mbtc from their faucet. take note that the website I am mentioning is a gambling site.
Yeah I get you, same thing with what omega star said, it's possible but it's a waste of valuable time.

Yes, it is possible to get free bitcoins just like how it is possible to get free fiat. However, in relation to the case that you mentioned, I would not consider it free since there is this condition that requires you to do before you can possibly get some bitcoins. They ask you to do the tasks in exchange for some bitcoin, but not entirely for free because you must do the task first (watch advertisements, play games, and others).
From what I've seen from these, most are not paying, but some do, so if you ever want to invest your time and effort in this, remember that you have the right to be picky.

It is not free if you are required to perform any action. But it doesn't make sense to spend your time collecting dozens of satoshi for free, instead of directing your efforts to learning the basics of cryptocurrency. Having received the necessary knowledge, you will be able to earn cryptocurrency yourself, or receive it as a salary for performing qualified work.

Getting Bitcoin free is possible through faucet but not encouraging since it involves you spending almost all your time which might be useful in doing something more profitable. Nothing good comes easy, Bitcoin is the most expensive coin and the only way you can get it is buying it with your own money so that you can value to hold it for a long term. Any site is is offering Bitcoin freely, you should not be carried away because they will end up scamming you. Airdrops doesn't pay that nice and after all the stress you get altcoins that might even be valueless,it means that you are working like an elephant and eating like an ant.

you can just go to the casinos in this forum, some have a faucet that you can access to get free bitcoins. you can even play it to double your BTC.
but you also have to be patient if you want to collect Bitcoins this way. the value won't be huge, but in the past, it was very popular to earn Bitcoin among newbies.

Sorry but this type of getting something for "free" mindset is what sets up folks for successful scams.  It plays off of people's greed and on the other side, someone is waiting to pounce and capitalize.

My answer will be very obvious, but nobody seems to have mentioned our forum. Grow your account and subsequently participate in subscription companies paid in bitcoin.
But other than that, I can recommend GPT sites. It may sound a bit strange, but if you can unique your account, having multiple accounts on such sites allow you to get some amount in bitcoins. It worked in 2007, and today, of course, it has become more difficult, but those who use different IP addresses and browser anti-detection can also make good money. But keep in mind that it takes a lot of time, which can be invested in studying bitcoin, and after a while, without dancing with a tambourine, you can safely participate in subscription companies on the forum.

How can we expect to get free bitcoins at these times I don't understand and people need to realise nothing is free and there is hidden cost attached to these offers you see over the net.I have also advised members previously also that at this time the prices are $16k and even if you want to get some sats then it's really hard.So who will be ready to give it out to you free of cost?

The faucets at these time are not wasting your time on as you will hardly earn few bucks with hours of work and then they have set withdrawal limits (speaking of that faucets that will pay off you others are scam) so do you think it's worth it? If you are comfortable with it then you can surely spend your time over there but if you spend the same time learning about bitcoin and gaining knowledge it will help you to look for different ways to earn through it and that also some decent amount so the choice is yours.

Airdrops are related to altcoins. Most will give nothing or will give worthless coins you cannot exchange anywhere.
And most of them are scams as we have seen in the past also which tends to steal your personal information and people in the hoard of earning some free tokens which have no utility and will be worth nothing fill out the forms which can be risky for them but they realise it later.

Playing games.. I don't know.
There are some P2E games in the NFT space at this time which will give you their native tokens for playing game but you have to make investment also to buy their NFT so not free. But there are some games which I have come across giving out altcoins as you mentioned for spending time playing games not bitcoin as I know of but that also not worth it spending your time over there.

As I said, I just found the whole thing hard to believe. From the comments on this thread I understand it's actually possible to earn bitcoins for free but it's not advisable. " A waste of time " as the first comment said
You're right though, it's only greed that can drive someone to look for free bitcoins
If you'll rely on those free bitcoin websites like faucets, you already have an idea of how they would go. You'll be mostly wasting your time with faucets and those captchas and whatsoever where they'll be giving a few satoshis. I've been there and done that, it's fun while it lasts but you may still try it but one thing for sure is that you'll be exerting effort to earn it. It's the same as earning from employment for which you have exerted effort working the whole day and you'll get paid for your time and effort. The same goes for earning with "free" bitcoin, there's an exchange for you to earn that. And another one is working with companies that will pay you in BTC, there are too many marketplaces where those jobs, positions and tasks are available.

The days when you can acquire a decent amount of bitcoins by doing some simple task are already over, there are some tasks that pay you with BTC and any other altcoins but they are not worth it any more unless you are just a curious man who wanted to try everything in the crypto industry starting without spending anything from your pocket then it is still possible but it requires you some talents and skills to do so. Some online games like NFT games offer you a small number of tokens when playing their games but not BTC and you can look for legit faucets but I doubt that they still exist nowadays.

The answer is of course you can, but the amount you get is certainly comparable because you only get it for free. very few bitcoins will be obtained. Not like in the past when I did several tasks and got a lot of bitcoins, I can even collect 1 Bitcoin in just 1 week.
My first site to get free bitcoins was freebitcoin.in and I got some bitcoins just by pressing the Roll button and a referral system was also provided. But for now, it won't be as easy as in the past.

The affiliate system, watching ads and several other campaigns that reward bitcoins are of course small, and the withdrawals that can be made are usually a minimum to be achieved. Some scammers also use it to deceive ordinary people who want to get bitcoins but with a top-up requirement of a few dollars to be able to withdraw their bitcoins.

I would say that there's no way to get free bitcoin but there are some sites that will pay you a small number of sats to do a micro-task like watch an ad or something. The issue with these sites is that the amount of time that you would spend watching ads would be better spent working a job to produce something of actual value than just buying bitcoin with the money that you earned.

If you're still interested in trying your hand with these sites, here are some that I know of.

Fold, Lolli, Bitcoin Co: If you're in the US, there are a couple of services (Fold and Lolli) that will pay you a few sats for doing something like spinning a wheel or coming back for a daily reward. These are primarily to get you to keep coming back to their app for a dopamine hit. It's short-lived and you can't even withdraw the sats until you have a balance of at least 100k+

These same services as well as the Bitcoin Company (https://thebitcoincompany.com) offer bitcoin rewards when you buy gift cards or shop with their partner stores online. All these services are doing is giving you a percentage of the affiliate commission that they earn. It's better than nothing but since they're really only available in the US, it's not an effective way for people around the world to stack "free" sats.

Hey Apollo: There's a new service called Apollo (https://HeyApollo.com) that I have heard of that offers 1000 sats or something like that to write reviews for bitcoin-related products and services. I haven't used it so I can't confirm.

Carrot: There is also a service called Carrot (https://earncarrot.com) that pays users to learn about bitcoin but I am not sure of the specifics.

Sats4Likes: You can use this service Sats4Likes (https://www.sats4likes.com) to do things like follow, retweet, and like tweets/accounts for some sats. This could be a good option for those who don't live in the US and are looking for a way to stack some free sats to be able to interact on Stacker News.

Stacker News: Finally, there is a news site that is quickly growing in popularity called Stacker News (https://stacker.news) and it has the same basic format and interface as Reddit but you have to pay at least 1 sat to post, upvote, and comment. This basically eliminates spam posts from trolls and nocoiners because they would have to own some bitcoin in order to shitpost.

If you post quality content on Stacker news, you can get upvoted and you earn the sats from people who upvote your content and comments. It's available anywhere in the world so even those who are in poorer parts of the world can still potentially stack some sats for commenting, posting, and contributing to the community.

That's about all of the services/tools that I know of that will get you "free" bitcoin but as the space continues to grow, we are likely to see more ways to get sats for microtasks.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the recommended sites but based on most of the comments on this thread I think it'll be better if I just dedicate my time and energy on learning about bitcoin first.
I'd still check out the sites though. Thanks.

This is a great attitude to have, and we highly suggest that you take the time to learn a lot about the technology behind Bitcoin. Of course, it's not an easy undertaking, but if you can make it through all of the technical jargon, you'll be well on your way to getting in on the action. Just remember to stay safe! Cryptocurrencies can be very volatile, and there are plenty of ways to get scammed. There are also many people who would love to take advantage of novice investors. Take the time to educate yourself about all of the different scams that are out there and how to avoid them. For example, if you see an ad on Facebook that promises to give away free Bitcoin, don't click it!  Wink

Whichever way you look at it, nothing is ever for "Free" in the real sense of it. Even in the past when a lot of people thought Bitcoin was given for free through airdrops or faucets, there was something those who gave it out benefited by doing that. Most of them needed their sites to be pushed out in form of publicity. In essence, something was exchanged for something. Your data and time for Bitcoin because some of them needed minor tasks done before releasing the Bitcoin.

I don't think there's a site that will give you Bitcoin totally for free rather you do some easy tasks earn BTC.
So with this site you will earn some sats but not really for free,  there are simple and easy tasks you do to get this sats as a reward, like visiting a website to spend some secs.or minutes.
For someone who doesn't have money to buy Bitcoin, this is a good site for you to start accumulating some Bitcoin.

It's somewhat impossible though (I'd say NAY cus most of them are fishy; marked with some ingenuity and at the end, it's unnecessarily time wasting.... )
You could actually do something like that..... I mean, FAUCETS and if the procedures to claim them coins after accumulating is doable, then it's fine but just imagine how long it'll take you to accumulate those coins so it's worth like say - 50dollars worth in BTC? You'll have to watch way more videos and play games untill it gets boring (sometimes, you get too busy with your normal job in reality so you don't find 'em interesting anymore, AT SOME POINT). This is actually something I took as an alternative but I don't think I lasted 3 days straight on that.... Lol.
Days are long gone where you could mine 'em coins by yourself; now, all you got to do is join the moving train, now that's not too late.

Thank you.
Playing offline and online games to have free bitcoin is possible, but watching ads and videos is the one I don't understand, how can one be given bitcoin because he watch ads and video clip, the thing sound scam and fraudulent. Participating on airdrop is also possible. The app doesn't look nice because fraudsters normally use apps to defraud people. What I will say is that scammers are looking for all means to dupe people at all cost so whenever thing you doing with people online be careful and if it is possible allow the person to render his service to you and when he has finished his service to you and you are satisfied then you can released your coins to the person with that you will not be scam aside that be prepared to be scammed because those niggas are not online to play with you. People fall for this kind of scam because they urgently and eagerly need money. But those who are not eager is hard to fall.

A few years ago, it was indeed possible to earn free bitcoin through various methods like playing games, watching ads and videos, and participating in airdrops. However, with the rise in popularity and value of bitcoin, it has become increasingly difficult to find legitimate sites or apps that offer free bitcoin. While there are some genuine platforms that offer rewards in bitcoin, it's important to be cautious and do proper research before investing your time or money. For instance, I was able to earn bitcoin a few years ago from a PPC website called adBTC, but I'm not sure if it's still legit now. So, always be vigilant and verify the credibility of any platform before engaging in any activity

lots of sites and apps that offer bitcoins for free, by just playing games.
but I downloaded the application several times like it's mostly fraud.
I haven't tried much, but I have tried several times, all of them are just scams, none of them actually pay, so don't be fooled.

This happened in the early days of bitcoin when bitcoin was struggling to dominate. I do not think that it still happens now. It is altcoin new projects that does it in the form of airdrop where you will complete some tasks related to publicity and you will rewarded with coins. Some might be useful while many atimes the coins may not worth it.

Nothing is totally free. Instead of seeking where to get bitcoin for free, you should instead try and aquire bitcoin related skills such that you can earn from the skills.

Why not, anyone can get bitcoin for free but it all depends on the source that is giving it out, sine it's a digital money there are many ways you can get it for free, it's either by begging for it, asking for it or receiving it as a freewill donation or gift, you can also create value that is sellable, render people or companies services whereby they can pay you in bitcoin, but in this case, you're not given for free but you've earned it, just like being paid on salary.

I think it's a waste if you participate in some airdrop, you gain coins but it has no value or it can't exchange with other coin and maybe when bitcoin started i think there's a free bitcoin when you bought 1 or maybe 2. bitcoin(when it's really low).

Now a days if you directly want Bitcoin for free then you should use faucets but it's not worthy for your time. There is an another way like joining airdrops from free. By joining airdrops you will get free tokens and you can convert your tokens by selling to Bitcoin. So I can say indirectly you can get Bitcoins for free. But remind one thing most of the airdrops are likely fake and you should analysis for best airdrops to get paid.

participating in airdrops and so on.

I don't believe there is an airdrop that pays well today, but even if there is, it will not be widely recognized or popular because in 2022, I tried several of them, like coinbit and others, but I couldn't withdraw even some of the coin I claimed. This could be due to a lack of understanding or knowledge of how to go through the withdrawal process, or it could be due to the fact that it is no longer functional, Instead of wasting time hunting for an airdrop to get free bitcoin, I advocate using your money to buy it.
I think we might see some few airdrops in the coming days but not as valuable they used to be back in 2017 when  projects give out free money to people.

Thank you.
Yes, you can get bitcoin for free by playing games. However, given the current state of affairs, the majority of airdrops may be fake or, even if you manage to win one, the process for claiming it will be different from what it was in 2017. Unlike when bitcoin was first introduced, fake links that promise to give away bitcoin for free are more likely to waste your time than to actually give you bitcoin.
Even if you succeed in earning the coin, the procedure you must complete before you can claim them will make you quite exhausted.

Currently one of the most valuable digital currency in the world is Bitcoin and it is never believed to give this Bitcoin for free. There are many online campaigns that advertise sweetly that playing games will reward them with BTC. It's hard to believe that such a valuable currency they will give just for playing the game. And there are many airdrops that claim to pay directly in BTC, all of which are false.

Basically they mislead some new members by saying this and ask them to connect the wallet to their website, as a result of which if they connect the wallet to their website, the access to the wallet goes to them and they grab all the digital currency in the wallet. So never fall into these traps of fraudsters.

Airdrops are related to altcoins. Most will give nothing or will give worthless coins you cannot exchange anywhere.
Playing games.. I don't know.
I have seen many airdrop campaigns so far most of which are scam schemes. And the tokens they give as rewards can never be exchanged in the market, so those tokens remain in the wallet. Where most airdrop campaigns are scams how do people believe participating in airdrop campaigns will reward them with BTC.

Nothing good comes easy, Bitcoin is the most expensive coin and the only way you can get it is buying it with your own money so that you can value to hold it for a long term.
I totally agree with you here. Buying it with his or her own money would make the OP value his BTC more than getting it for free because I have heard stories of people who got free BTC from faucets, how they blew it off and later filled with regrets because it never cost them anything, and as such they never treasure the BTC in their possession.

In fact, Bitcoins can be obtained for free through several means such as mining, but this requires an initial investment in hardware and an understanding of the mining process. There are also some sites that give away free Bitcoins through a bounty or airdrop program, but most of them require certain actions such as filling out surveys or inviting friends.

But also faucet sites or cloud mining that promise free Bitcoin but that's mostly a scam that should be avoided because it wastes your time, if there used to be a bitcoin faucet. These sites usually collect personal information or charge unreasonable fees when trying to cash out collected Bitcoins. My advice is not to fall for promises of free Bitcoin you're better off buying outright it's much better anyways I think buying bitcoin has nothing to lose as it could be an asset in the future and always DYOR.

Yes it is possible, For faucets, airdrops, etc you could probably get Bitcoin for free when I'm just starting on cryptocurrency and Bitcoin I also finding ways how to earn Bitcoin faucets is one of the ways where I actually get free bitcoin I actually did take a withdrawal on faucets but it's not actually a big amount of bitcoin but its not that bad. There are also airdrops that would happen somethings but mostly it wouldn't give bitcoin but newly launched altcoin in the market it actually give me free money, not just free but a big amount of money when I sold thousand of coins. I didn't know any games that give free bitcoin but there is a lot of them where you could earn other tokens it wasn't free like playing to earn games you're gonna need investments on its NFTs, but most are schemes.

Most of it needed some research to know a lot of information about it to earn Bitcoin for free but at this moment it wasn't really worth it to rely on these things. The best thing to do is to sell your service for bitcoin.

Of course, there is an opportunity to get bitcoin in this way (airdrops, faucets, etc.), but from the point of view of the ratio of time spent and profitability, doubts arise. There is too little to be gained for these actions now, unlike in the past, at the bitcoin's dawn.

Bitcoin obtained in this way are not completely free, because you have to spend the most valuable resource - time. It is better to manage it more rationally. For example, selling your services, as suggested by Asuspawer09.

Mining is not free, you have to buy several devices and also have to pay operational costs including electricity costs. So I don't agree that mining will generate bitcoin for free, even if there is, it is not worth your time.

I'd be inclined to agree about contest, giveaway or some review campaign to earn bitcoin if the OP doesn't have much of budget to buy. I think it's much more worth it with your time than expecting some easy tasks from faucet or something.

Here are just about few examples:
1. 🍀🍀 whirlwind.money | Review Campaign | Write a review & earn up to $100! 🍀🍀
2. Utopia P2P Ecosystem 💎 | Review Campaign 🔎| Participate Now! | Get paid in BTC

We need to understand that no one gives you free money or free Bitcoin BTC. Yes, there may be some sites that give you free Bitcoin but you need to work in order to earn them and those services have some other earning means through which they earn and in return give you a minor portion of the earning.

For example, when you do a faucet, you spend time doing the captcha and in return, the site gives you few satoshis. Do you know how that site earns? They earn from the ads, from the traffic as visitors will open their site again and again to do the captcha and they may be affiliated with captcha solving companies. So by giving us a few free Satoshis, they are earning much more.

Yes it is possible to earn Bitcoin for free without spending money. The question is where can you find a platform to earn for free?. There are some websites where you can earn for free like freebitco.in where you can claim Satoshi every hour and by winning in their spin the wheel. There are new projects that give tokens for a few task that doesn't require to pay however you will need to spend money for the transaction fee when you receive it if ever the project is successful. One of it is by faucets which is free like the one I mentioned.

This can indeed happen and indeed there are several platforms that provide Bitcoin prizes for a task. But the problem is the amount. Because sometimes, the number of Bitcoins is not worthy of us, even the nominal value is only very small. And of course this might end up in the cost of a transfer or transaction fee only. I agree with the opinion, it is possible to get Bitcoins for free on sites like you mentioned. But that doesn't make it worth the amount because the prize is worth it. Meanwhile, the platform that you are working on also has good returns because at least they get a lot of promotions at not too high a cost.

Okay so earlier I came across a site that claimed that it's possible to get bitcoins for free by just; playing offline and online games, watching ads and videos, participating in airdrops and so on. They also recommended apps that give out bitcoin for free  like coinbase.
Something that is given away for free is most likely not worth the time. I don't recommend the OP to focus too much on getting bitcoin for free, it's just a waste of time. I tend to recommend it to gain a lot of knowledge about bitcoin [technically or general knowledge] which can then be discussed in forums with the community. Of course the OP will have the opportunity to join signature campaign which also generates revenue from it.

I think it's more worth the time on this forum than looking for free bitcoin. But if the OP has the expertise then maybe he can get it with some other advice.

It seems to me that these kinds of questions that the OP asked create an atmosphere of distrust and attitude around bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, as if they were some kind of scheme or deception. I think that for the further development of the cryptosphere, those who understand it should educate newbies in the sense that cryptocurrency is not a game of chance, where you can win something or, moreover, get it for free. It is the same work as all other works. In order to succeed, you need to constantly learn and develop new skills, you need to keep up with the updates that occur in the cryptosphere and improve your skills. And do not expect that somewhere you can get something for free. Only then can we count on the massive use of cryptocurrency.

Given the fact that these tasks for you to earn some bitcoin is a fact, there's still no guarantee that those accumulated bitcoins to be withdrawable. History, even until today shows that bunch of these websites are frauds.
So, the time and effort you exerted to do certain task (although it's not that much) has a high possibility to be wasted.
Because of that, I think it would be better to avoid it at all.

Possible? yes. Is it worth your time? probably not.

The same thing applies to Coinbase[1] and other similar programs[2]. Some of them require you to verify your identity before you can claim the rewards which is something I don't recommend doing.

[1] https://www.coinbase.com/learning-rewards
[2] https://www.okx.com/freebitcoin

There are actually programs that give out free Bitcoin but on the long run, the rewards for the activity you isn't worth it.
Most times I always tell people that nothing is free not evening freetown and no one just hands out Bitcoin freely to people without having them do some task which might include some sort of surveys, answering questions or even watching of videos and recently I also came across a game that claims to give out free money online and after checking the game out, I Just concluded nothing is free.

To waste of time spent on such platforms especially if they will not pay their users. Also I think its not really worth to try those platforms because the payment is so low and we cannot get rewarded properly even if we exert huge effort to do their task asked. Much really better with this is to learn skills since its more rewarding than doing some simple task online.

I see a lot of newbies still doing faucets but they can't withdraw their earnings so much better not to recommend this so that they can learn other things that is more rewarding to them.

In fact, Bitcoins can be obtained for free through several means such as mining, but this requires an initial investment in hardware and an understanding of the mining process.

3. Roobet.com | Lomba Seni "Snoop Dogg x Roobet" | 5 Kategori - hadiah $7500!

Just as you've advised, no one can offer you bitcoin for free just like that without you doing something in exchange for it that makes you deserve having it, there's this another opportunity you can use to have bitcoin which is through your family or friends influence, they may decide to gift you, but many people creates one or two services to organizations and get paid in bitcoin, also before you can get paid in bitcoin, you must have meet up to some certain conditions around and invested your quality efforts as your service or contributions in other to be eligible for payment, nothing comes or goes for nothing, you rather sit to work and earn from what you do, it you have no skills then try and begin the learning process now.

Free does not mean there is no effort to get Bitcoin. Take a look at the users who joined the signature campaign, once they complete the weekly tasks and qualify to receive payments, they will get free Bitcoins for their efforts within a week. One of the easiest ways to get Bitcoins for free is by participating in signature campaigns, once accepted there you will be paid in Bitcoins.
I suggest you to be more careful with something free outside the forum because there are lots of scammers who spread link fishing traps. Focus on increasing the rank to be able to join the Bitcoin paid campaign.

It's more like catching your eye in some ads that saying "play to earn $100" something like that. Some of them is true but the downside is the system itself will give you a lot of work that would benefit them such as referral links. After doing those things you might think you've earned BTC for free not knowing you lowkey work for them. Worse part is some of them is scams that can even drain your wallet based on my experience, it's from my friend he clicked a site that containing similar from his usual site, not sure if it's like exchanges but those scammers and hackers got his funds. Good thing he's funds are not all in his digital wallet. I was amazed cuz if you look the similarity is insane.

I am not sure that participating in signature campaigns means free bitcoin. It is not free, it is you salary for doing some work and effort. If you say that "free does not mean there is no effort" then what is free for you? Where is the line between free bitcoins for "completing the weekly tasks and qualifying to receive payments" and just payments in bitcoin like a salary for your done job? Besides, not every member of the forum have a chance to participate in signature campaigns. For example, I can not find current campaigns accepting members with my rank right now. That means that this way of getting bitcoin is limited and puts forward certain criteria. In my opinion, such rules are more evidence that these bitcoins are by no means free.

I don't know much about free bitcoin giveaway websites. But you can get bitcoins if you have skills. Let me share you how to do that.

Couple of years in self-studies I learned about website SEO. So I created a Instagram account and posted lot of posts regarding backlinks services. Then I follow similar interest tags and people. I dm them and let them know about my packages. Somehow I got few clients and I worked hard. Most clients became my repeats customers and most of them paid by BTC. So my advice is you can also try that. Can't guarantee all your clients will pay by BTC. But you can ask them can they paid to you by bitcoins or usdt.

In this sense, nothing in the world is completely free. You have to pay for everything with time, feelings, health, relationships. Sometimes it's worth it, and sometimes it's not. And we just have to decide whether we are ready for such spending for the sake of "free".

Everyone value their work and their time very differently. For someone, everything that does not require direct payment in cash is free, even if it takes as much time to get a few Satoshi as they could get several orders of magnitude more money at work. So for some, simple tasks on the Internet or clicking on faucets are equivalent to free.

Of course this is possible. The fact is that there are already a lot of games that allow you to earn not only dollars but also any cryptocurrency, especially bitcoin.
I have been working well for many weeks playing Axie. And this SLP was sometimes equivalent to a hundred dollars a week. Now you can find dozens of games for bitcoin, but I advise you to look for bigger projects. Like the same Axie. Small games are not worth your time.

Okay so earlier I came across a site that claimed that it's possible to get bitcoins for free by just; playing offline and online games, watching ads and videos, participating in airdrops and so on...

I saw that 1 BTC was allocated as the main prize of the contest, but I do not know how honestly the results are summarized and indeed this bitcoin is transferred to the winner. It is more realistic to get a Bitcoin particle through a faucet, but this is too small a part, which is measured in cents.

If the contest creator is reputable and have proof that they really distribute the prize to the real winner and transparent for everything peoples ask then maybe its worth to try to participate on those contest. But if they are not reputable then maybe they are just doing the same scheme where they just use the efforts if their participants for free to do some task and deceive them by showing a manipulated result. This is a waste of time if this is really the real case so much better to use those realistic platform like what you said the faucet since it can give them much better result.

I thought the OP should have gotten a lot of answers and also found a solution to his question, in fact you are quoting his post after 5 months since he created this thread.

Since I signed up for forum account until now, I don't think I'm too interested something free like airdrops or anything else. Even I had to forget about the bounty part which is actually still productive until now, but I'm too disappointed with that part. I think a lot of people should be prepared for the fact that expecting something free is ultimately a waste of time, but of course every now and then some people are also lucky enough and make a decent amount of money.

Indeed in some stories and news I've heard Airdrops can provide attractive prizes but maybe it's only one in a hundred airdrop programs, so it seems like luck alone to get that. That possibility is still there but I agree with what you said.
So it may not be very effective to hope on an airdrop or follow a bounty program. Maybe you will feel tired because it is quite difficult to get an Airdrop or bounty program that provides prizes that have prices according to the work you do. There may be other than that like doing a roll, on some sites. But the prize is too small and there is a minimum requirement to withdraw. In the end, there is nothing completely free to get bitcoins.

Maybe faucets can be considered as a way to get free satoshi, but I was talking about signature campaigns and they are way too different from clicking some button on the Internet. Using faucets require only some mechanical actions, you don't have to think about it. In contrast, signature campaigns impose rather strict conditions on participants, there are evaluation criteria, and not everyone can participate in them. There is a selection system, as in any job. And payments also often depend on the quality of the work performed, namely on the posts written by "employees". Of course, bitcoin you earned in signature campaign didn not require direct payment in cash, it is not a direct financial exchange. But they were earned, not received as a gift, therefor they are not free in any way.

It depends only on what a particular person is sorry to spend their time on. Constantly remembering the need to click for a few satoshi is a much less meaningful waste of time than participating in an advertising campaign for a project. If you think that clicking is less like work, then I can say that there are a lot of little-meaningful work options, and the key here is that you spend your precious time doing something.

There are only 2 ways you can get bitcoin for free, that is by using a faucet and participating in contests with bitcoin prizes, and in this forum there are often contests like that.

If you want to know if it is still ideal to have this for me right now, it really consumes a lot of time to wait and claim, but it's up to you if you have a lot of time just to claim small portions of satoshi. If I'm not mistaken, freebitco.in still has this kind of features.

Of course, if a well-known brand acts as the organizer or sponsor of the event, then there is no doubt about the honesty of the winner's choice. But we most often see that such an organizer is an unknown company that does not even have its own website, so you should not expect an honest distribution of the prize fund.

Thank you.

Yes, it is possible to obtain free Bitcoin. I have seen numerous instances when people received free Bitcoin either  by doing some tasks and receive Bitcoin or by using certain apps when you download and you registered their sites. The last free Bitcoin I received was via the Bitpapa app, and it was just $5 worth after signing up and completing your KYC but  It was only accessible for a little time, though. However, some of the websites that offer free Bitcoin sometimes lead to scamming, so buying Bitcoin is the best option.

It is actually possible to get Bitcoin for free, however, the amount you receive is likely to be small, perhaps just a few dollars till few bucks.

I have personally tried earning Bitcoin for free using websites and apps like freebitco and salad.io. I earned a good amount of money by utilizing GPU and CPU containers and converting the earnings to Bitcoin later (that was from salad)

While it is possible to earn free Bitcoin, it is important to not get your expectations very high and not expect to earn a lot of money, most likely few thousand of Satoshis per day.

I saw that 1 BTC was allocated as the main prize of the contest, but I do not know how honestly the results are summarized and indeed this bitcoin is transferred to the winner. It is more realistic to get a Bitcoin particle through a faucet, but this is too small a part, which is measured in cents.

If the contest creator is reputable and have proof that they really distribute the prize to the real winner and transparent for everything peoples ask then maybe its worth to try to participate on those contest...

Of course, if a well-known brand acts as the organizer or sponsor of the event, then there is no doubt about the honesty of the winner's choice. But we most often see that such an organizer is an unknown company that does not even have its own website, so you should not expect an honest distribution of the prize fund.

For having that we can assure that they really sure to distribute the prize to the real winner, since this can give good exposure to their brands and can give more bigger impact since many people will talk about the happenings of the event especially the prize given by the sponsor of the event.

Only those unknown website those unknown website is really valid to doubt because we don't know if they are real with their contest, as well if they could really give the prize without further more requirements asked.

YES
They are many platforms that give free bitcoin but the thing there is that it is very difficult to get those free BTCs, because I don't think you can hit the targets to get the free BTC.
Although I do not know any platform that gives free Bitcoin I don't think that all those sites that give free Bitcoins can issue out 1BTC to any winner of their games and rounds, I say this because I am not sure free things comes easily.

do you want to get rich with free games? The free Bitcoin casino or site that you will get is a small part. playing the faucet will not give you 1 BTC. it will provide a game experience for you to keep trying. in the past or maybe today there are still people who are looking for free bitcoins from several sites. but it will not be maximal. especially after the price is already very expensive and what is obtained or what can be collected is only a small portion.
more importantly, don't trust any free Bitcoin cloud mining sites too much, more it's a scam.

Nah I just find it hard to believe cause I've seen a lot of scam related schemes that claim to give out bitcoin for free. I don't know, I might be wrong cause I'm still a newbie that's why I brought this here, to see if I can get some clarification on the matter. Thank you.
Whatever you get for free right now is just a waste of time, in the past we used to do and get bitcoins by claiming airdrops, but not directly getting bitcoins, but by exchanging altcoins for bitcoins, but now the opportunities for airdrops are no longer good and even i never seen in last few years airdrops give out such good amount. Call it another form in Faucet to earn bitcoins and days also no opportunity to earn large amount of bitcoins and duration of time may also be long in collecting bitcoins.

Currently there are almost no gaps in getting bitcoins for free and your time will be wasted if you only hope for some method to get bitcoins for free. Getting bitcoins for free is a pitiful amount to collect and my advice do some research with DCA patterns to collect bitcoins and this is not done for free.

I agree with your opinion, I also think that the bitcoin that are given to the signature campaign participants are not obtained for free, I myself am in a paid bitcoin signature campaign but I get bitcoin according to the weekly amount post that I made, if I don't make a post then I won't get anything.

There are only 2 ways you can get bitcoin for free, that is by using a faucet and participating in contests with bitcoin prizes, and in this forum there are often contests like that.
Something that you get after doing some kind of work for it shouldn't be labeled as free in my opinion. So both signature campaigns and contests paying in Bitcoins aren't technically free since you are working and putting in your time and efforts to get that. That being said, I believe there is only one way to get free Bitcoins which is from the faucets, it is a very small amount but it's for free.

One more thing that I can think of is PTC sites where you watch ads or do some simple tasks to get some satoshi as well but I'm not really sure if such websites or services are still available or not while I'm sure there are active faucets out there.

Thank you.

It is possible to earn bitcoins from the activities described above, but that is what we will count as earnings. Because to do all those things, you have to work hard like a laborer. You will not get bitcoins there in proportion to your effort and time.
So efforting there will not be worth.
