Okay so earlier I came across a site that claimed that it's possible to get bitcoins for free by just; playing offline and online games, watching ads and videos, participating in airdrops and so on...

I saw that 1 BTC was allocated as the main prize of the contest, but I do not know how honestly the results are summarized and indeed this bitcoin is transferred to the winner. It is more realistic to get a Bitcoin particle through a faucet, but this is too small a part, which is measured in cents.

If the contest creator is reputable and have proof that they really distribute the prize to the real winner and transparent for everything peoples ask then maybe its worth to try to participate on those contest. But if they are not reputable then maybe they are just doing the same scheme where they just use the efforts if their participants for free to do some task and deceive them by showing a manipulated result. This is a waste of time if this is really the real case so much better to use those realistic platform like what you said the faucet since it can give them much better result.

I thought the OP should have gotten a lot of answers and also found a solution to his question, in fact you are quoting his post after 5 months since he created this thread.

Since I signed up for forum account until now, I don't think I'm too interested something free like airdrops or anything else. Even I had to forget about the bounty part which is actually still productive until now, but I'm too disappointed with that part. I think a lot of people should be prepared for the fact that expecting something free is ultimately a waste of time, but of course every now and then some people are also lucky enough and make a decent amount of money.

Indeed in some stories and news I've heard Airdrops can provide attractive prizes but maybe it's only one in a hundred airdrop programs, so it seems like luck alone to get that. That possibility is still there but I agree with what you said.
So it may not be very effective to hope on an airdrop or follow a bounty program. Maybe you will feel tired because it is quite difficult to get an Airdrop or bounty program that provides prizes that have prices according to the work you do. There may be other than that like doing a roll, on some sites. But the prize is too small and there is a minimum requirement to withdraw. In the end, there is nothing completely free to get bitcoins.

I am not sure that participating in signature campaigns means free bitcoin. It is not free, it is you salary for doing some work and effort. If you say that "free does not mean there is no effort" then what is free for you? Where is the line between free bitcoins for "completing the weekly tasks and qualifying to receive payments" and just payments in bitcoin like a salary for your done job? Besides, not every member of the forum have a chance to participate in signature campaigns. For example, I can not find current campaigns accepting members with my rank right now. That means that this way of getting bitcoin is limited and puts forward certain criteria. In my opinion, such rules are more evidence that these bitcoins are by no means free.

In this sense, nothing in the world is completely free. You have to pay for everything with time, feelings, health, relationships. Sometimes it's worth it, and sometimes it's not. And we just have to decide whether we are ready for such spending for the sake of "free".

Everyone value their work and their time very differently. For someone, everything that does not require direct payment in cash is free, even if it takes as much time to get a few Satoshi as they could get several orders of magnitude more money at work. So for some, simple tasks on the Internet or clicking on faucets are equivalent to free.

Maybe faucets can be considered as a way to get free satoshi, but I was talking about signature campaigns and they are way too different from clicking some button on the Internet. Using faucets require only some mechanical actions, you don't have to think about it. In contrast, signature campaigns impose rather strict conditions on participants, there are evaluation criteria, and not everyone can participate in them. There is a selection system, as in any job. And payments also often depend on the quality of the work performed, namely on the posts written by "employees". Of course, bitcoin you earned in signature campaign didn not require direct payment in cash, it is not a direct financial exchange. But they were earned, not received as a gift, therefor they are not free in any way.

It depends only on what a particular person is sorry to spend their time on. Constantly remembering the need to click for a few satoshi is a much less meaningful waste of time than participating in an advertising campaign for a project. If you think that clicking is less like work, then I can say that there are a lot of little-meaningful work options, and the key here is that you spend your precious time doing something.

There are only 2 ways you can get bitcoin for free, that is by using a faucet and participating in contests with bitcoin prizes, and in this forum there are often contests like that.

If you want to know if it is still ideal to have this for me right now, it really consumes a lot of time to wait and claim, but it's up to you if you have a lot of time just to claim small portions of satoshi. If I'm not mistaken, freebitco.in still has this kind of features.

Okay so earlier I came across a site that claimed that it's possible to get bitcoins for free by just; playing offline and online games, watching ads and videos, participating in airdrops and so on. They also recommended apps that give out bitcoin for free  like coinbase. Bitcoin, ranked as one of the most expensive cypto currencies can be earned for free by just watching ads? Nah I just find it hard to believe cause I've seen a lot of scam related schemes that claim to give out bitcoin for free. I don't know, I might be wrong cause I'm still a newbie that's why I brought this here, to see if I can get some clarification on the matter. Thank you.

Yes, it is possible to obtain free Bitcoin. I have seen numerous instances when people received free Bitcoin either  by doing some tasks and receive Bitcoin or by using certain apps when you download and you registered their sites. The last free Bitcoin I received was via the Bitpapa app, and it was just $5 worth after signing up and completing your KYC but  It was only accessible for a little time, though. However, some of the websites that offer free Bitcoin sometimes lead to scamming, so buying Bitcoin is the best option.

It is actually possible to get Bitcoin for free, however, the amount you receive is likely to be small, perhaps just a few dollars till few bucks.

I have personally tried earning Bitcoin for free using websites and apps like freebitco and salad.io. I earned a good amount of money by utilizing GPU and CPU containers and converting the earnings to Bitcoin later (that was from salad)

While it is possible to earn free Bitcoin, it is important to not get your expectations very high and not expect to earn a lot of money, most likely few thousand of Satoshis per day.

For having that we can assure that they really sure to distribute the prize to the real winner, since this can give good exposure to their brands and can give more bigger impact since many people will talk about the happenings of the event especially the prize given by the sponsor of the event.

Only those unknown website those unknown website is really valid to doubt because we don't know if they are real with their contest, as well if they could really give the prize without further more requirements asked.

They are many platforms that give free bitcoin but the thing there is that it is very difficult to get those free BTCs, because I don't think you can hit the targets to get the free BTC.
Although I do not know any platform that gives free Bitcoin I don't think that all those sites that give free Bitcoins can issue out 1BTC to any winner of their games and rounds, I say this because I am not sure free things comes easily.

do you want to get rich with free games? The free Bitcoin casino or site that you will get is a small part. playing the faucet will not give you 1 BTC. it will provide a game experience for you to keep trying. in the past or maybe today there are still people who are looking for free bitcoins from several sites. but it will not be maximal. especially after the price is already very expensive and what is obtained or what can be collected is only a small portion.
more importantly, don't trust any free Bitcoin cloud mining sites too much, more it's a scam.

Nah I just find it hard to believe cause I've seen a lot of scam related schemes that claim to give out bitcoin for free. I don't know, I might be wrong cause I'm still a newbie that's why I brought this here, to see if I can get some clarification on the matter. Thank you.
Whatever you get for free right now is just a waste of time, in the past we used to do and get bitcoins by claiming airdrops, but not directly getting bitcoins, but by exchanging altcoins for bitcoins, but now the opportunities for airdrops are no longer good and even i never seen in last few years airdrops give out such good amount. Call it another form in Faucet to earn bitcoins and days also no opportunity to earn large amount of bitcoins and duration of time may also be long in collecting bitcoins.

Currently there are almost no gaps in getting bitcoins for free and your time will be wasted if you only hope for some method to get bitcoins for free. Getting bitcoins for free is a pitiful amount to collect and my advice do some research with DCA patterns to collect bitcoins and this is not done for free.

I agree with your opinion, I also think that the bitcoin that are given to the signature campaign participants are not obtained for free, I myself am in a paid bitcoin signature campaign but I get bitcoin according to the weekly amount post that I made, if I don't make a post then I won't get anything.

There are only 2 ways you can get bitcoin for free, that is by using a faucet and participating in contests with bitcoin prizes, and in this forum there are often contests like that.
Something that you get after doing some kind of work for it shouldn't be labeled as free in my opinion. So both signature campaigns and contests paying in Bitcoins aren't technically free since you are working and putting in your time and efforts to get that. That being said, I believe there is only one way to get free Bitcoins which is from the faucets, it is a very small amount but it's for free.

One more thing that I can think of is PTC sites where you watch ads or do some simple tasks to get some satoshi as well but I'm not really sure if such websites or services are still available or not while I'm sure there are active faucets out there.

Thank you.

It is possible to earn bitcoins from the activities described above, but that is what we will count as earnings. Because to do all those things, you have to work hard like a laborer. You will not get bitcoins there in proportion to your effort and time.
So efforting there will not be worth.
