Loosing money can be depressing especially when it is a big amount but this situation should not push you into illegal or self prescribed drug use/abuse. Please by all means talk to someone who understands and know that people have lost that kind of amount as well to gambling and were still able to bounce back. Moving forward, I think you stay away from gambling, or henceforth gamble with only amounts that you can afford to loose to avoid being in this kind of situation again.

I won't advice anyone to take any narcotics to relieve themselves of that bitter feeling of having a big loss.
But I understand where you are coming from its really depressing to lose big cash in gambling but taking hard and illegal drugs aren't the solution instead you keep your mind busy with other stuff like funny videos and maybe try comedy skit or you can take a sleeping pill and have a nice and relaxing sleep over the lost.

You seem to have lost your mind which only makes matters worse, simply because you lost a lot of money while gambling and wanted to either vent or pacify it by using illegal drugs. And if you do it often, it means you are a person who has a lot of money because buying illegal drugs is also not cheap.
there's nothing wrong with using it to gamble again instead of using it for stupid things you have a double addiction, and use it to gamble in a better way and fix what caused your defeat and fix it. And better yet, you don't do it all.

Lol, Help yourself and stay away from drugs my man, it will do you more harm than good, and if losing such amount of money will force you into doing drugs to alleviate the after effect of the loss, then stop betting or gambling with such a high amount and start gambling with an amount you can comfortably lose.

To begin with you shouldn't have a big loss if we are referring to betting money that you can't afford to lose, but if you have a bad streak or lose money within your budget that leaves a bad taste in your mouth, to relax you should only use the drugs that you know and have used, including legal ones.

For example, a drink or two. If you smoke marijuana, smoke a joint to relax, if you have never smoked marijuana, don't do it.

Hard drugs, the further away the better. Losing a lot of money and trying to cheer yourself up with oxycodone is like shooting yourself in the foot.

It would be more relevant to consult a psychiatrist but I really advise you to stay far away from any exciting and dopaminergic drugs like cocaine and methamphetamine, especially. It would stimulate your desire to gamble again to try to recover your losses and to bet unreasonably. If you really need drugs you should opt for (legal) relaxing and anxiolytic drugs like benzodiazepines IMO. When you write "norhpine" it's a misspell of morphine or it's another drug?

Appreciate your response. I dont have any anxiety or stress is just upsetting that i lost im not even dwpressed.i just hate losing. Anxiety meds like xanax and avitan can be fun recretionally. However this time i would ike to enjoy opiods.

I do not think it is a good idea to do drugs at all, even especially after a big loss. It can help momentarily, but at the end, you still stand on what lays ahead with the loosing the bet. There is a lot of possibilities with taking drugs after losing.

I would be scared, especially knowing that drugs are illegal. You might become hooked if you try a hard drug. There are so many ways to cope with a loss. Having a glass of wine or a run around the block a dozen times can help. I would never ever advise someone to ever turn to drugs.

I don’t think using drugs is a good cure for losing so much money. Maybe you should take a little break away from technology, try & do a trip or go camping out in nature or something. Take a trip with some friends, crack a bunch of beers by a camp fire or something.

Try & surround yourself with friends & attempt to forget about what happened. It’s not easy but taking a bunch of drugs is just going to make you feel even worse the next day when they’ve worn off.
